Great place to stay in Bristol. Parking is possible and not too expensive. Unfortunately while I was there it had building work going on and the hotel was surrounded by scaffolding. Apparently the hotel was refurbishing rooms, sadly the room I stayed in hadn’t been renovated and was rather tired, some surfaces had seen better days. The bar offered a good choice of both food and drinks. The staff were all fantastic, friendly and very attentive. I will happily stay again when I am back in Bristol.

The hotel is basically a building site inside and out and shouldn’t by rights be open to the public . The drilling noise in constant from 9 am to 5pm . Do not stay here !

Unfortunately the hotel is currently undergoing construction work. The first room I was allocated had scaffolding right outside it. The second room I was allocated was on the top floor where work seemed to also be happening and resulted in more scaffolding outside my window. Overall not a very relaxing or quiet break

I mean, I like this hotel, but there was constructions just one floor below, so at 9am the drill was so loud, and during for hours. You could rest or think or anything after 9am. I was on holiday, I went out a bit at night and the mornings were just horrendous. Too much noise.

I stayed one night to attend a gig at The Marble Factory, which is a 4 or 5 minute walk away. The hotel is also 5 minutes from Temple Meads station or about 8 minutes from the nearest big car park (£18 for the night). Staff were helpful and accessible. Nice bar and breakfast area. Good breakfast for a vegan - vegan croissants and yogurt! Rooms are modern and a bit minimalistic but clean and quiet. A good, no hassle stay and would for sure stay there again.

This place should not be open to guests right now, it’s a building site. Constant noise of drills, etc during day time. Yes, the hotel is very tired (the shower is broken, the air-con is useless and it’s all a little tired) and needs to be refurbished, but corporate greed has yet again won over guest comfort. I was not warned about the disruption when booking through hotels.com

Room was about as basic as it could be, a wood dominated box with little in the way of comforting amenities....only one single mains socket (and I had to hunt to find it!!). Noise from the lifts going up and down all night was intrusive (but my room, 710, was right next to them...other rooms might not suffer).

Rooms are beyond basic, bathrooms are dated and shabby. I felt like I was stepping back in time. No decent tea or coffee making facilities and towels were old and worn. Thank goodness we were only staying one night and were so tired (2am check-in). Pictures on websites do not reflect the poor quality. It looks like a well looked after modern hotel. This is not the case. Shame as it was a good location from being close to the airport.

Very noisy from corridor, other rooms ( chairs scraping on uncarpeted floors) and from people outside too (though I did appreciate being able to open window to get some fresh air). Pod like shower room, functional and clean. Staff welcoming. Desperately needs updating. Very convenient for Temple Meads but my preference is for Premier Inn just five minutes further away

Booked this Hotel for my Son who travels for Business regularly. When he checked in he had to return to the desk on 4 different occasions because the key card wouldn't work for the room, he didn't find staff very helpful and even asked him if he was going to the correct room number, eventually got sorted and received a room upgrade.

The staff were very , friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The one thing that was not so good was that I was thinking of staying for an extra night but the price of the extra night was more than doubled!! Apparently it was because the hotel was almost full and it would have been made close to the stay. I checked around and it appears all hotels do the same. It seems very wrong to me.

A few of the light bulbs didnt work which was a shame as couldnt create a cosy atmosphere to relax after a long stressful day. Also didnt have a working extractor fan in the bathroom. The room was what you would expect for the price and was comfortable after a long day. The shower and provided shampoos were great. Did get charged twice but the morning receptionist helped me get a refund on the double charge.

Room was one of the best budget rooms we've stayed in. Large bed with thick comfy topper. Spotless laminate flooring rather than stained carpet. Large shower in bathroom module. Tea and coffee making facilities. Bath towels were luxurious however there was only 1 hand towel and no bath mat. Which wasn't a problem for 1 night. Excellent location: 20 minutes maximum, mostly pedestrianised, walk to waterfront restaurants. Knights Templar Wetherspoons pub, Sainsbury's local, bakery, cafes, and Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk of ibis. Temple Meads Station is about 6 minutes walk away. Bristol Airport flyer runs from Temple Meads Station every few minutes. They have extensive cladding renovation ongoing (due to end November 2025) and warn that there could be drilling noise etc between 8am and 5pm. We checked out at 1130 am and had no noise at all. Staff were very welcoming. Was greeted by Michael at reception who remembered he had dealt with a request for us.

We've never stayed in an Ibis hotel before and weren't sure what to expect. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The area around the hotel was nice and quiet. There is a Sainsbury's and a Wetherspoons in a short walking distance. We were close to the train station, which was convenient because we travelled there on the train. Overall we were very impressed with it and would definitely stay there again.

Easy trip from Bristol Airport on the A1bus. Short walk from Temple Meads Train Station bus stop. Easy check-in. Clean Room. Area had plenty of walking distance restaurants. Had excellent and reasonably priced breakfast at The Knights Templar just across pedestrian bridge, and just outside train station.

The Hospitality of the staff made my stay highly enjoyable. Breakfast is the best meal of the day and the Ibis provides a great breakfast. Evening meals and drinks are good value for money and they are a good size meal too. I will definitely visit again.

Great location as working in building next door the next day. Found parking at rear on road which was lucky. Food in the evening very limited and the bar area was very hot as AC not turned on. Service was friendly and polite. Room was comfy but the bathroom had a drain smell but is was clean. Breakfast was better than I though it would be but no option of poached eggs

The rooms were clean and then swipe card was easy to use. The breakfast was delicious, however having dinner on Friday would have been beneficial. As well it was noisy due to construction so I know that was out of the hotels control.

Nice modern rooms. Pillows really uncomfortable though and no air con - the room did get quite humid. Not easy to find info on breakfast, leading to us not knowing and being able to pre-book, which cost us and extra £3each. The breakfast wasnt really anything special for £15 each, ive certainly had better. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well equipped. An ok budget hotel.
