Comfortable and quiet. Friendly staff. Good location. Don't come by car as the car park is impossible to get in to, very difficult to find because of the one-way system and it isn't sign-posted properly.

The hotel staff were all friendly and efficient. The hotel was in a convenient location for exploring the city. The rooms were small but comfortable. Food was of good quality for evening meal and breakfasts. Parking was limited soonly those wh get there early get a space and its £20 a night

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Just a 1 night stay. Not really very close to main city centre for theatre, bars, etc. It’s at least a 20-30 min walk - taxi took around 8 mins to the Beck theatre. So take that into account if you want something walking distance to the main city area. Parking was very limited, got lucky with the last space. I think there is around 20 spaces?

I stayed in a twin room with my cousin, who was sitting in his bed late in the evening and could feel something wet on his legs. Having pulled off the bedding we found a large, yellow, smelly wet patch on the mattress. Clearly someone had wet the bed and staff had put fresh bedding on without changing the mattress. After this disgusting discovery we were apologised to and moved into the room opposite, (where there was no shower gel in the dispenser). Staff at the hotel apologised and we were given a full refund. I did send an email to thank them for this but to suggest that in future it would be better to upgrade guests to a nicer room, or offer Hilton vouchers as well as the refund, as unfortunately we left with a very bad impression of the place and wouldn’t return. They haven’t bothered to reply to this email. Breakfast was fine.

Room available for earlier check in. Easy and safe parking. Room spotless and quiet. Great coffee machine. Friendly customer service from reception staff and breakfast staff. Good selection at breakfast. Great location for city centre.

Reception friendly. Property was very good and very convenient location. Parking was expensive at £20 p/night. The let down was the room cleanliness of the room which felt like it needed a deep clean; there were splash marks on the walls, glasses and cups were not clean and the carpet could do with a deep clean.

Great location. More attention needed to cleaning as didn’t like previous occupants hair stuck in the sink plug hole which has a crack in it and was a rather sorry affair.

Very comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable. No bath available in the rooms apparently and shower room was basic but functional and clean. Breakfast again basic but nice quality and so refreshing to see products in glass dispensers rather than mountains of plastic waste from sachets. My room (134) had a faulty window seal which meant noise from the road outside was a nuisance.

Our air-con wasn’t working on the first night. Woke up roasting at 3am with the thermostat showing 25 degrees. We struggled to get back to sleep. Explained this to staff and they let us know they have 24 hour service. We are hardly going to get up and dressed at 3am to go to reception and have an engineer fix our air-con. The mini fridge was also not working. Even then changing rooms at that time of night would be unrealistic. We managed to get free breakfast for one morning but this was only because we asked. The breakfast was good.

Room badly designed, bed too big for room, no hooks or other hanging near to door, bathroom cramped, ie had to close door to reach the loo, no bin near tea making for used stuff, not enough tea and coffee packs. Poor lighting, nothing good anywhere for reading. No easy chair with reading light. TV dim. Good points, airy open stairway, key card worked, bed large but comfortable, heating ok, but unable to change despite thermostat.

Great hotel and staff, such a shame the air con wasnt working in the hotel when we stayed on a Sunday. The temperature in the room was 29.8 degrees all through the night. The staff were great though and offered us a fan and complimentary cool drinks. Breakfast was great and check in and check put was quick and easy.

Lovely staff, room well prepared. There was an issue where we couldn’t turn the aircon off so it was annoyingly noisy all night. Bed is also cheap and springy. Room good, hotel well located and good price.

From start to finish the service was excellent. Lovely room refurbished to a high standard. Very clean and a large comfortable bed. Would definitely use this hotel again. Special mention for Stuart on the front desk who i spoke to the day before on the phone explaining my wife had a broken foot and could we check in a little earlier. He arranged the early check in and when i turned up he was very helpful and made the whole experience a pleasure. He is a credit to the hotel.

Lovely one night stay. Tayla on reception was amazing when checking us in, and treated us to some complimentary drinks for my friend’s birthday. Nice, clean room. Perfect location for central Bristol and only a short walk from Temple Meade. Would recommend and will definitely return on my next visit to Bristol.

The combination of the location which is most convenient to Temple Mead Train Station and a pleasant walking distance to St. Nicks Market, accommodating staff, clean nicely appointed rooms and a broad breakfast offering makes this my hotel choice when in Bristol!

The front desk was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were able to walk from the train station to the hotel when we arrived. It is centrally located. I would stay here again if in the area.

My room had not been made up from the previous guest when I entered it, but this was put right very quickly. All staff were very friendly, the location in Bristol is great (5 minutes from Bristol City Centre and a short walk from Temple Meads train station) and good parking at the hotel. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will use this hotel again.

The breakfast was nice . But found layout a bit awkward it could do with cereal away from hot food . Perhaps near toaster. All staff very pleasant and receptionist were all very helpful. I would definitely be back and recommend.

Hiltons have gone downhill markedly since the last time we stayed in one! .. £150+ per night for what? Would have been better off in a budget hotel, the room was a box there was only one towel provided, for 2 of us, no room service, no mini bar, not even a biscuit with the "complimentary" tea and coffee, and as dor the buffet breakfast! The bacon was over cooked (the 2nd morning there was none left!) the eggs were undercooked eggs, the bread for toast had run out too, if it had been 5 minutes before breakfast finished i would have understood that i guess but itwas over an hour before! ... next time it will be a Premier Inn!

Hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were friendly very helpful when you asked where the facilities were,if there was any complaints it was the price of the alcohol and and mixers,I got charged £3.60 for a bottle of tonic water which I think was very over priced, when it is 0.89 pence on the high street

We had a wonderful stay at The Hilton Garden, Bristol. Lovely hotel, centrally located to the Quay, train station and the town centre. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Lovely clean room with good shower, free toiletries and soft towels! Buffet breakfast was really good, so well cooked. We also had a meal in the restaurant, again a very lovely meal!

Comfy bed, quiet room and friendly staff. Would have been 5* but I found the bar/restaurant menu limited (few ‘fresh’ veg options). The kitchen did prepare me a side salad when I asked but it was an additional £8+ charge. All very tasty though and breakfast was great.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The shower was great. The bed comfortable but advertised as a Queen size but appeared to be standard size. The air con /heating unit would not switch off and woke us during the night. The staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was good but dinner was just ok. Limited dinner menu with no garnish and over priced. We would stay again but eat somewhere else.

Breakfast is regular. But no fruits, just oranges pre cutted (when?). Coffee machine not working so i was given a nescafe. At 9.45 they begun to collect things and no more cakes, croissants ecc.

The great thing was the room layout, the bed was fantastic along with the bathroom. The restaurant was 2 rows of tables for 2 or 4 the menu was the same as the Bar snakes which was a disgrace, the breakfast was in the same place the food was put in pots under lights, first day when we had breakfast at the time there was no hash browns and no scrambled egg I had to wait 5 minutes till some came out while the food on the plat was lukewarm now, on the second day all the food in the bowls was lukewarm by the time you got to your table it was almost cold, very poor quality in food service, I will NOT be staying there again.
