The hotel is clean and well-run. The morning manager and the woman taking care of the breakfast bar were also really nice. My only mild complaint is that the EV chargers are only the Tesla type, and when I asked before booking the room if they had any of the universal J-1772 type, they did not understand the difference. (My car uses J-1772.) While it would have been nice to wake up to a full battery, I understand that this is all new to people who do not drive EVs, so I do not hold it against them. It would be helpful if the hotel web site and external travel booking sites (like Expedia) would provide this information so that EV drivers can factor charging opportunities into their decisions about where to stay.

This is a very nice hotel. I enjoyed the outdoor fire area especially.

everything was great except we booked this property based on the fact that they had electric car charging. They indeed has electric car charging but ONLY Tesla chargers which are not compatible with our Hyundai IONIQ 6. This oversight put us 30 minutes further out of our way and forced us to make an early cahrging stop... DON'T assume what chargers are available when booking!

Room was clean and awesome. The staff was so polite and took care of all my needs. The firepit was an added plus that was so nice! Super!

Bed sheets were not changed (still smelled like someone slept on it & bottom sheets had blood & other stains)

This Holiday Inn Express seems fairly new, and the overall feel and presentation is clean and friendly. The staff at check-in were kind and helpful. On both of my stays however, there was no one to be found at checkout. No one to provide feedback on the quality of your stay. Cleanliness is my only complaint, and it specifically was the bathroom. On 2 occasions the bathroom was mostly clean, but the sink had a film and there were hairs around the handles. My 2nd visit, the walk-in shower was filling up and, upon inspection, the drain was completely blocked by a variety of hair. I pulled it away and it drained perfectly, but certainly not something I would expect at a mid-range hotel. The breakfast buffet was above average and the coffe was actually good. Overall an okay spot, but slightly below some of the other similarly priced options in this area.

This property was new and very clean. However I don’t know if it was due to it being the holiday, but there was never any staff around. No one ever came to clean our room or get us towels are whole stay which was 4 days. When I went to ask 4 towels and wash clothes . I got two handtowel and two towels . The breakfast was the same everyday , nothing was ever stocked. Also the WiFi was down during the stay and the front desk lady told us to call this and do this to get it working . No one wants to jump thru hoops . I grew up and this town and come home every year for Christmas so I decided to try this hotel since it was new . I would not recommend this hotel to family and friends . I have had better luck and service at other hotels in the area .

The hotel was very nice and so were the staff.. Our room was very nice except our bathroom was filthy. There was dried pee on the wall behind the toilet, it was also on both sides of the toilet at the bottom. The front of the base if the shower probably had never been cleaned. I think their housekeepers need to be retrained on how to clean rooms, especially a bathroom…. I had to clean the wall and the toilet before we could use it.

Our second stay at this hotel. Everything was great. Comfortable bed, room was clean. Breakfast was great and the lady attending the food did a wonderful job!! I didn’t get her name but she is from LaFayette

The AC turns off and on. Does not have a continuous fan setting. For a light sleeper it was a difficult night. Also, the shower drain is quite loud. Don’t know how someone can sleep when someone else is in the shower.

Check in was a hot mess. I booked with Expedia and paid in full prior to my arrival. When I attempted to check in, the hotel said they didn't receive my payment. I proceeded to show them my receipt, with proof I paid in full, but they would not allow me to check in. Instead I had to sit in the lobby, for TWENTY MINUTES, in front of the front door, in the middle of winter, getting blasted with a gust of cold air every time someone opened the door, while they hashed out my payment with Expedia over the phone. They finally got it figured out and allowed me to check in. Then we go up to "the suite." Ha! What a joke! This was NOT a suite! This was a regular, double queen size hotel room. A suite has a separate living room type area with a couch and an additional tv. This "suite" had two beds and a tv in one room, and that was it. I asked the guy at the desk what was the difference between a suite and a regular room, he said "extra space." Well I don't know where they put it, because I sure didn't see any extra space. Don't get the suite, it's the same as a regular room! Did I mention that it was a whopping 56° when we got in the room?! This is Ohio, in the middle of winter, and as soon as we all get in, the room is an icebox! They said it was due to cleaning agents, so then maybe use stuff that doesn't require the room to be a deep freeze? The room itself was nice, customer service was horrible, I would not stay here again. There's more but 1500 character limit 😂

We stayed in a King Suite room 325. It was hot all night and the air would not cool it down. The air kept turning off. When it was bed time we could not find linens for the pull out couch. Instead of bringing them up to us, she told us to come get the linens. I was not impressed.

We loved the hotel and the property. The only negative was the fact that the air conditioner in the room kept turning off and on. The noise was loud enough thst we kept waking up throughput the night

It had a full size fridge n the suite for my drinks and other stuff since i was staying multiple days.

Very clean and felt safe the entire time, which is not always the case in Lima, Ohio. The location was clean, staff was friendly, and the suite was well equipped with a full size dishwasher and refrigerator which was unexpected. Highly recommend this specific hotel to anyone traveling to Lima- whether for work or with family like we did.

When I went to check in, Manager advised he was sold out as I had not guaranteed my room with a credit card. I explained I went through expedia and room was paid for as I used my one key cash. Manager said they do not deal with Expedia and proceeded to say he couldn't help me in any way, he was sold out. No offer of trying to assist with the other Holiday Inn in the area, just out and out rude!!. Thanks

In town for a volleyball tournament. Staff was friendly, place was clean , food was hot . They accommodated us by keeping the breakfast open 30 minutes feed our girls. Just awesome

This was probably one of these worse hotel experiences I have ever had . the night desk clerk humiliated and talked to me so poorly. He refused to check me in for 2 hours because he was I. The back watching TV and had an attitude because I asked was he ok after hearing him speak rudely to the other guest in the phone concerning their TV. He finally decided he would “ do me favor” by checking me in after waiting an hour for the GM. He then threw the paper at me to sign . After signing he dismissed me and then informed me that if I had any problems do not contact him .. he wouldn’t help me that I was to wait on Crys the GM .. realizing he never handed me keys . I asked for the keys he told me I needed to wait until he helped the others in live first … after I waited he threw the keys on the desk at me .

It was a wonderful stay. We stopped on a Sunday night - traveling and decided on our trip to book it again and stay overnight on way home. We walked in and the gentleman said Welcome back!! After a week he remembered us!! He said i will upgrade you to a King Suite!! Breakfasis wonderful!!!

10/10 Beautiful clean hotel. Breakfast is amazing!

The stay was what we needed we attended a funeral the weekend that we stayed there, it had everything we needed, the breakfast bar was great and the coffee was outstanding!
