Excellent breakfast. Very well equipped gym, nice swiming pool and saunas. Beautiful quiet place on the green island with perfect view on the city. Good value for money. Easy and cheap parking just in the front of the hotel.

Everything except only the parking wasn't excellent. The marked spaces are way to narrow for the rather wide (SUV) cars. Finally, I learned about the garage with wide slots, for extra money, but worth the peace of mind. Expedia made a horrible mistake, when confirmed my reservation. Added beside my name, whole Credit card number, the security code too. I had to get a new card number.

Grand Ensana is a beautiful property in the lush Margaret Island in the heart of Budapest. The room was comfortable, the breakfast fresh and fabulous with great service and friendly staff. The excess to the spa and pool along with outdoor sundeck keeps you relaxed as long as you want!

The rooms are well measured space. The breakfast is great. The area is calm. We loved the spa and gym. We could easily get to the city centre by rental bike or by bus. This was our second time at this hotel and we would choose the same hotel for our next visit in Budapest.

Wirklich sehr schönes Hotel, das Frühstücksbuffet hatte auch eine menge Auswahl und das Thermalbad konnte ohne Aufpreis besucht werden. Wirklich toll für einen Kurztrip wenn man sich zwischen dem Sightseeing entspannen will.

Insgesamt ein schönes, großes und beeindruckendes Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage, das sehr geräumig war. Frühstück immer gut gefüllt und absolut ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich. Perfekte Anbindung zur Stadt, Bus bis fast vor dem Hotel (26 - bis direkt vor das Einkaufszentrum Westend). Spa Bereich im benachbarten Hotel (Ensana Thermal) doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, es riecht leider muffig. Außerdem sehr voll, ich mag mir gar nicht vorzustellen was dort in der Ferienzeit los ist…

Ett mysigt hotell med bra karaktär/stil. Stort härligt rum och högt till tak.Hotellet är beläget i lugn park miljö, vilket jag uppskattar. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Dessutom var städningen på topp. Rent och snyggt. Det var inte bra det var excellent.

Our room looked like it hadn't been used for a few months. There was cobwebs on the mirror lights and on the light above the bed. Not a nice thing especially for my wife. Hotel otherwise is good, spa facilities are in the Ensana Thermal hotel and are good, too. The breakfast we as very very basic for us. As Vegetarian there was just bread, rolls,and cereals. No toasters, no beans, no roasted tomatoes, waffles etc that you find in a normal breakfast. The rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear the cleaners outside. You can hear next door closing a cupboard door or sneezing etc, not quiet rooms at all. Disappointed with the breakfast and the webs in the room, and lack of soundproofing in the rooms.

Spa and fitness are excellent. Room cleaning service need to be improved a lot. Corridor that leeds to the pool had blood spots for days etc. Refrigerator didn't work in room and took 2 days to get the problem solved. Staff at breakfast service is lethargic bored no smile..means something is missing.

The location is fantastic, the island is beautiful but you will need to get a taxi to get anywhere off the island. The rooms are nice and the facilities are good, however the air-conditioning is so old it's basically just a fan in your room. Breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety and the staff were great. Ide stay again but not in summer.

This is an old school grand hotel. Had a specious room facing the Danube. Very quiet, and a lovely walk down to the city through a beautifully landscaped park. Excellent breakfast buffet and spa services onsite. Not for those seeking a party scene but perfect for us, a big if paradise in the middle if a bustling city.

Hotel muito bonito numa ilha no rio Danúbio ficando dentro de Budapest. Local circundado por parques, muito agradável tendo um SPA. We stayed at this hotel recently, and overall, it left us with mixed feelings. The building itself is old-stylish, which can feel charming, and in general, it is kept clean. The staff is kind and welcoming, but everything moves very slowly. Communication can also be a challenge, as English is not spoken very well. Food is definitely not a strong point of the hotel. Although the hotel advertises swimming pools, children are not allowed to play in them. They forbid bringing pool toys or even a ball, which makes the pool area very restrictive. Another thing to note is that many guests come with their dogs. If you are allergic to dogs or not comfortable around animals, this will be an issue. The hotel location is excellent at Margaret island near the Japanese garden, very nice and relaxing to be in such place. The hotel feels very authentic. The staff were very nice to prepare us breakfast to -go on our last day because our flight was too early. The breakfast variety was also good. One point for improvement, consider installing window grille. Because our visit was during April not sure if there is a good air condition and air circulation.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is stunning, quiet and peaceful but also a walkable distance the hustle and bustle. The spa is perfect to relax after miles of walking. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection each morning. Staff were all super friendly. We would happily stay here again.

The stay was pleasant, hotel was nice but the some of the staff were quite rude when asking for information or assistance. The older staff were very good, professional and customer focused, but the younger staff were very blunt, to the point and definitely not customer focused or slightly helpful

Amazing hotel on the island with plenty of walking options and easy access to public transit right behind the hotel to link you to the rest of the city. Great spa and very accommodating staff, I stayed for the F1 race and they made sure to schedule around the event for me. If I had to go back to Budapest, I’d go here.

Immerso in un meraviglioso parco pubblico, una struttura classica ma funzionale. Ottima colazione, fantastica la spa con piscine a varie temperature -accappatoi in camera!. Autobus frequentissimo a 100 mt, che collega in pochi minuti con la metro o col tram 2. Attenzione solo dopo le 11, poichè l'autobus cessa il servizio e serve il taxi (o una bella camminata!)

Lovely property and staff willing to make the stay really enjoyable. We went to the sister hotel first in error (next door) and the difference in front desk staff was stark. We came for the F1 and the only complaint would be it is a far distance for metro lines and you have to grab a taxi or bus to get back on the island.

Hotel na pěkném místě. V hotelu nefungovala restaurace na večeři, nefungoval bar. Na pokoji nebyly župany - hotel je neměl pro všechny hosty. Bazén a restaurace je ve vedlejším hotelu. Pokud chcete jít na večeři nebo si koupit něco k pití či k jídlu musíte jet autobusem do centra....
