Requested a twin room for my friend and we were given a double. However, we were quickly given a triple room as this was the only room they had left. This room was very smokey, and no other rooms were available. But the staff were amazing in trying to fix all these initial issues. Spa wasnt available either, which was disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. A sister hotel 10 mins walk away was given as an alternative, which we did accept, but there were no changing facilities other than a toilet with no lock on, to change in. Breakfast was fine and the room was clean (other than the smoke!). Staff were always helpful.

We loved our stay here! It's in an ideal location (5 min walk from parliament building) but in a side road, so not very noisy part. Marcel on reception was great. The cozy cafe area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the 24/7 hot drinks machine.

The magic if this place is in it's proximity to the Parlament and other places frequented by tourists. We walked everywhere. They can provide you with breakfast for 11-15 euros or you could choose to go out and spand that money at the local bakery 2 min away. There is an Aldi nearby if you just wnat to pick up your own (cheaper) food. The hotel serves you with free coffee or tea through an all in one machine but parking will cost you extra, 12000 huf a day. Also, keep in mind that the shuttle service they advertise is not included or free, it might cost you about $50 to get to the airport... The hotel itself was nice, modern, clean and safe.

Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring the city but far enough away from the hustle and bustle or rowdy areas. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The room was cleaned everyday while we were there and was spotless. We didn’t come to sit in the room and watch television, but it would be nice, after a long day walking around and exploring, to have the option of more English channels or a smart tv to be able to log in to Netflix/prime etc. Free tea and coffee available in the lobby bar was a nice touch, as long as you don’t mind nipping back down stairs.

The property is very nice an cozy inside. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom needs to be grouted around the shower door and tiles. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant. Our room had a large balcony. There is also a coffee machine in the lobby which you have access to 24/7 which is a big plus. They are located in the center of the city and close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel,

We arrived and were met by Mpho, a fantastic representative of the hotel. She was welcoming and professional and really stood out throughout our stay. All the people were brilliant. The hotel is in a brilliant location for all the sights, we walked everywhere with ease. The room was spotlessly clean with good quality products. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked nice and we liked the lounge area. The coffee machine there was not working very well but in the morning you could nip down to the breakfast area for your coffee fix. Great hotel with even better staff.

The hotel bar and the wellness suites that would have made this a 4 star were closed. It felt a bit like we didn't get what was advertised at all. I had tea/coffee in my room but no kettle, the TV didn't work and I nearly killed myself trying to manoeuvre the shower door so not what I expected.

The first night we were in a room that had a continuous droan sound. This was roon 202 I complained and the room was changed staff were very please r. The rooms are clean the hallways are a bit worn damaged wall paper bleeched spots on the carpet. But it's a terrific location nice rooms staff are nice. Just had 4 nights, it’s a great hotel a very good sized room, well cleaned and a good breakfast with a wide selection for any taste, a good quiet area within walking distance to places of interest, staff are very polite and professional, I would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return should I visit Budapest again

We had a great stay at Ikonik Parliament for 5 nights in November. Rooms were clean and spacious and well presented with hot drinking facilities in room. There was also a room where you can make a coffee/tea/ latte etc near bar downstairs. Housekeeping made up room every day without fail. Receptionists were all very welcoming, friendly and informative. The breakfast was also varied and of good quality. The hotel was within walking distance of all local attractions, very near Parliament and the river Danube. Bars and restaurants were also near. We highly recommend this hotel if you come to Budapest for a visit.

An overall okay hotell, very accommodating staff. Had troubles with the keys three times, both for the room and for the elevators. Breakfast is sub, not many options and nothing is written out what it is or what it contains. Worst part, the sheets. Felt like they were plastic. Pillows wew nice though. What makes this an option in budapest is location.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Super clean and comfortable rooms with hot showers and excellent air-conditioning. A couple more English channels on the TV would be a nice to have, but it's been good for my French and German! :-) Would definitely recommend!

Good location away from the busy part of Budapest We had a lovely room on Level 5, however, the lift shafts are very noisy and we had to be moved as it was keeping my husband up at night. The top of the lifts were clanging on the roof of the lifts everytime someone used the lifts Breakfast was lovely Staff were very attentive and helpful Would recommend though, however, if you have good hearing, stay off Level 5, even with ear buds, we could both still hear it.

Stayed here 19th-22nd January went with my Dad and my best mate. Really enjoyed our stay the hotel was lovely and in a good location, when we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by 2 men on reception and also a female manager who were very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides free tea and coffee 24/7 which tasted really nice I loved the chocolate drink. We got to our room and I put a kingsized bed for me and Dad by mistake went to reception and they sorted it and gave us another room, in the rooms they were spacious and the beds were very comfy, there nice size wardrobe space and a safe that was free to use to, in the bathroom hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner was provided even make up remover pads and ear buds. Overall very impressed with the hotel from start to finish would definitely stay here again in the future

There was an intruder at 2am in the morning followed by 3am. We thought there was a thief. Turns out it was a massive mishap on the staff's side. Terrible experience. The staff said they would compensate but didn't see any results.

The hotel was two blocks off what I imagine is the main street in Budapest. There were lots of shops and restaurants. We loved everything, but if I have to choose the greatest thing, I would say the staff cannot be beaten. Anything we requested, any question we had, was not too much trouble. Each and every member of staff earned high praise.

We had a great stay at Ikonik Parliament for 5 nights in November. Rooms were clean and spacious and well presented with hot drinking facilities in room. There was also a room where you can make a coffee/tea/ latte etc near bar downstairs. Housekeeping made up room every day without fail. Receptionists were all very welcoming, friendly and informative. The breakfast was also varied and of good quality. The hotel was within walking distance of all local attractions, very near Parliament and the river Danube. Bars and restaurants were also near. We highly recommend this hotel if you come to Budapest for a visit.

Can't beat the location...easy to use public transit from airport, accessible to all major transit lines to the city, great authentic Hungarian restaurants nearby (Kispiac and Tukory Etterem), and short walk to the parliament and waterfront. Very safe neighbourhood, and breakfast was great. Rooms are clean, and exactly what you need... A clean and quiet place to put your head down after a day of touring.

I liked the attentive staff and willingness to help. The breakfast area was unique in design being glass roofed in a basement area! I did not like the usual dodgy air conditioner, the partially stocked mini bar that didn’t tally with the printed list. Overall, it left a good impression. Fair value for the money!

Staff very polite, easy check in and out and staff were always happy to help. Lovely complimentary drinks station available throughout stay. Breakfast slightly overpriced for each day but good for a one off. Some wear and tear in the rooms (cracks in walls, paint cracking off in places) but very clean. Street outside a little noisy but good location close to parliament building and basilica. Would say overall a very happy stay, would definitely return!

The hotel itself is clean, breakfasts lovely, and staff very friendly and accomodating. Two things which could be better: 1. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room 2. A hotel bar open to guests at least on friday and saturday nights. Overall we loved our visit and would highly recommend staying here.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Accessible to everything. But Im so sorry the food was below my expectations & doesn't follow the schedule. They say 6:30 am on Weekdays is not true. The food is not even ready at 7:00am. If you have an appointment or schedule to catch up then you'll be late. Overall the accommodation is ok.

This hotel was at a great location, close to city center which made it convenient to go back and take a rest between tourist sites. The hotel is clean, my room was spacious and they accomodated my request to me to a room down the hall. My room was great, and had all what I needed. They provided free refreshments in the lobby which was amazing. I really enjoyed that!! The sauna was not working, which I was looking forward to since I booked this hotel with that in mind. I think its important to somehow state that on the website. Otherwise, I loved everything else and the staff was great!!
