Right by sea / marina, opposite the old fort. Fantastic view from the rooms at the front. Easy walk into town. Polite staff. It’s a shame that the roof terrace doesn’t open until June.

This hotel gets an excellent 5 star review from me for a few reasons. It is a classic old hotel. The location is terrific and the view from the rooftop restaurant/bar is utterly unmatched. If you stay here, eat or at least have a drink on the roof. You won't regret it. All that said, the hotel could use a bit of refreshing. The rooms look a bit old. The breakfast was ok. The three guys in ties buzzing around were a bit unnecessary. It's a buffet. But, big picture, this is a hotel worth staying at.

A good location on the edge of town. Parking is a real problem, although there is a paid for carpark within walking distance. Breakfast was great and there was a good varirty to choose from. Brakfast went from 7.30- 10.30 am so was never too busy.

The hotel is in a good position with a beautiful sea view. Plenty of good quality restaurants nearby. The bathroom was clean but a little small. The lift was almost impossible to get at certain times of the day.

It’s a great hotel and the location is perfect for exploring the old town. The views from the rooftop restaurant are spectacular. My wife and I loved every minute of our stay.

The hotel is close to everything you might want to walk to in Corfu. Nice buffet breakfast, really attentive staff. Also a great rooftop bar/restaurant with amazing views - but it closes in October and reopens sometime in the Spring.

Das Personal ist sehr entgegenkommend und außerordentlich freundlich. Trotz unserer frühen Anreise wurden wir freundlich aufgenommen und uns wurde die Möglichkeit gegeben, in der Lobby platz zu nehmen. Problematisch war der Zustand und die Sauberkeit des Zimmers. Neben dem Umstand, dass sie etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind, waren sie neben uns unter anderem auch von Ameisen bewohnt. Diese mussten wir nicht nur im Badezimmer sondern vereinzelt noch im Bett feststellen. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung leider absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Da ist der vergleichsweise hohe Preis anderswo besser investiert.

This hotel was fantastic! We stayed in the family room (2 queen beds) and it was very clean and organized. The staff was delightful and very accommodating. The breakfast was included and very delicious. The hotel itself was located in a great spot, close to many restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel for families.

Amazing hotel for views out to the sea, a few minutes walk away from a beach, restaurants and shops. The bed didn’t appear the cleanest as was stained in areas but the sheets were clean so wasn’t an issue. Lovely rooftop bar, worth the slight extra cost of food/drink for the amazing views Would recommend this place to anyone!

Every time I come to stay at my home in Corfu, I always spend s few nights at the Cavalieri. Why? Fabulous location about a two minute walk to Liston, beautiful views of the sea and the old fortress, attentive and fast front desk, check in any time 24 hours a day, clean room,fabulous breakfast always fresh and abundant., yes, all that, but most of all, staff who genuinely care and want to do a good job, and the feeling of being one of the family. This is old-world elegance. Thanks to all of you for giving me and my family/friends such a beautiful experience. See you soon!

The hotel is charming and the staff are amazing. The reason I gave the Hotel three stars is because the air conditioning did not cool down our room to a temperature or I was able to sleep. I also gave it three stars because the carpeting smelled a bit musty in our room.

The air conditioning units don’t work. It felt like staying in a box (the room) with someone was just blowing some air towards you. In 2 days of running the AC the room cooled down maybe from 35 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius You must keep the bedroom door closed for this to happen as well. The bathroom and hallway area was an actual sauna that felt like 40 degrees Celsius. The hotel is very outdated. Not a 4 star or “luxury” However the room was incredibly clean and the staff are very friendly and kind. It’s close to the downtown area.

Fantastic location with view of the harbour and the old fort. Only complaint is that the air conditioning is a little anemic. But it is a wonderful small boutique hotel on the edge of the old town. The view from the roof top restaurant is fantastic. The included breakfast was very good.

We were upgraded to a room at the front of the hotel with view of the Liston. Our room had floor to ceiling windows (left one did not open) with shutters and a balcony - for standing not sitting. Very high ceiling in this historic building so there was a mezzanine floor to bedroom & bathroom up wooden stairs. This was unique and ok, though ideally, we would have preferred not to have to climb stairs to bed or toilet. From the hotel information, we had assumed breakfast would be served on the rooftop terrace. This was not the case. In fact, the only access to the restaurant was with a dinner reservation and even guests staying overnight could not access the rooftop unless dining. We did choose to dine at the hotel and had good food and a good table to take in the exceptional views. The rooftop terrace is an ace and worth having access. However, if this is being advertised as a key feature, please make clear conditions for access. I feel most guests would expect access to what appear to be communal areas.

The location was ideal for exploring the town and all the places of interest. The staff were all first class in every respect. Friendly professional and always helpful. Only slight downside was a bit noisy from the road outside at night. We were on the second floor with a sea view.

A small but very pleasant hotel. The staff is excellent, very helpful. Fantastic location, at the edge of the Splanada square. Three minutes' walk to the Old Fortress and no more than ten minutes' walk to any place in the Old Town. As for dining options, once you step out of the hotel you cannot toss a rock without hitting a restaurant:-) . Also, the rooftop restaurant/bar of the hotel is a gem. Rooms are rather small, but then who's coming to Corfu in order to sit in his hotel room. Overall, a great option for exploring Corfu.

Amazing staff on reception and a super helpful chap greets you, takes cases up, takes cases out to taxi in the morning….he even had an umbrella for us as was stormy. Hotel in need of updating BUT clean, comfortable for a 1 night stay and so well located for mooching around Corfu town

The hotel customer service was horrible and rude. Instead of 7 beds ordered between 2 rooms, we received 4 beds. One of the rooms with 3 beds didn’t have working AC so they put us in a room with 2 twins and gave us a mattress pad as a third bed. When we said that is unacceptable, we were told there are no other options. 6 people (not couples) on 4 beds and of course no one slept. The owner of the hotel said we’re we’re lying that the hostess was rude and that it cannot be true. In addition, our checkout time clearly says noon on my Expedia booking however the hotel said we have to check out by 11am and they don’t care what Expedia told us. Do not recommend!

That was the only good advise from him. I strongly recommend Bella Venezia hotel, which was around the corner. Strong internet, a/c, free welcome drink and free small bottles with wine, nice patio, no city tax.

After disembarking from our sailboat, it was so wonderful that they were able to have our room ready for us early, and for them to have brought our luggage up while we visited the Archaeological Museum! We also enjoyed our dinner at their rooftop restaurant!

Listed as a 4 star hotel but would not meet that standard, rooms are dated only positive thing is the beautiful views of the forts. Breakfast is mediocre. Reception staff are pleasant we had a particularly negative experience with the manager of the rooftop restaurant who refused myself and my husband entrance we had returned from dinner and were going for a ln evening drink he took one look at us and said no, there is a dress code even though we were dressed well, I explained we were staying in the hotel but he was rude and made it clear we were not allowed entry, As we were dressed similarly to people dining in the restaurant the only difference I could see was we were 2 gay men.

Traditional hotel in a perfect location with fantastic view over the marina and fort, across to the mainland. Opt for a superior room at the front, you won't regret it. Everything you want is close by - museums, shopping, excellent food - and you can go swimming in the sea just across the road (not a beach but a sea pool with open water option). We loved staying here and it made our holiday.

Fantastic location! So close to all the Old Town restaurants, the main square, the sea wall & Old Fort. The pick up point for many day tours was steps away. The interior could use a bit of an upgrade but I loved the historic features. The breakfast was great - lots of healthy options & good coffee. The staff were so kind & helpful and really made me feel welcome throughout my stay. This hotel was perfect for my solo getaway to Corfu!

A good location on the edge of town. Parking is a real problem, although there is a paid for carpark within walking distance. Breakfast was great and there was a good varirty to choose from. Brakfast went from 7.30- 10.30 am so was never too busy.

The hotel is is in a great spot with a great view of the old fortress. The rooms are a little dated and could probably use a little updating but they were very clean and comfortable. The location was great with everything very easy to walk to. We had a car and we’re able to find parking but we were there in late March, I am sure it would be more difficult in the summer.

The location was ideal for exploring the town and all the places of interest. The staff were all first class in every respect. Friendly professional and always helpful. Only slight downside was a bit noisy from the road outside at night. We were on the second floor with a sea view.

Very good accommodation. Sure, there can be some improvements, especially for the bathrooms, but overall, it's good enough for sleeping and eating, before going back out again. The view and bar/restaurant at the top is very elegant and nice. The breakfast buffet is very small and the staff is getting in the way all the time by trying to replenish. There should be a couple fewer tables, as it's a very small space.

We were upgraded to a room at the front of the hotel with view of the Liston. Our room had floor to ceiling windows (left one did not open) with shutters and a balcony - for standing not sitting. Very high ceiling in this historic building so there was a mezzanine floor to bedroom & bathroom up wooden stairs. This was unique and ok, though ideally, we would have preferred not to have to climb stairs to bed or toilet. From the hotel information, we had assumed breakfast would be served on the rooftop terrace. This was not the case. In fact, the only access to the restaurant was with a dinner reservation and even guests staying overnight could not access the rooftop unless dining. We did choose to dine at the hotel and had good food and a good table to take in the exceptional views. The rooftop terrace is an ace and worth having access. However, if this is being advertised as a key feature, please make clear conditions for access. I feel most guests would expect access to what appear to be communal areas.

Breakfast was good, buffet type, both hot and cold fare. coffee and juice machines easy to operate. Restaurant staff very attentive. Room good, cleaned a couple of times we were there only complaint was the hotel was at the top end of the old town, so there was a slight incline to walk up to the hotel.

The hotel is close to everything you might want to walk to in Corfu. Nice buffet breakfast, really attentive staff. Also a great rooftop bar/restaurant with amazing views - but it closes in October and reopens sometime in the Spring.

Situated perfectly between the markets and the old fort, this hotel is excellent. The staff are very happy to help with anything and the breakfast is great (including hot food and continental). Air con is good and the pizza place next door is nice too, including gluten free. Look out for the green busses if you need to go out further than the town. Staff at the hotel will help you find them, there is scarce information online for some reason.

It's a very old and dated establishment. Very convenient with close proximity to the old town and Nightly events. There is no parking and almost impossible to find any in the month of August. The staff was exceptional and friendly.
