Entrance area very nice, good price and lady at the desk was nice. What wasn’t nice is that the carpets are well worn so they look dirty. The shower at the pool has no hot water. We were stuck in the elevator and nobody came after two calls. The lady at the front desk said she had to help the elevator doors close to make it work

The hotel was clean and nice love the views from the 6th floor we could see the city.The only thing I didn’t like was that the elevator was not working for two days so we had to walk up and down the stairs from the 6th floor and our last day we had to walk down stairs with our luggages but all and all we had a good stay.

The pool was filthy, it had bugs and lumps of hair floating in it both days. The fridge in our first room wasn't working so we got moved to a different room and the tv stand was in pretty rough shape/ broken. We were informed by the front desk that guests got a discount at the restaurant but the staff at the restaurant then said no. The hotel itself is VERY out dated and smells due to old carpet. TV package was below a basic level.

Hallway floors are so dirty. Tables not dusted in common areas. Pool wasn't working. We had a clogged toilet and they brought a plunger in a clear bag that had brown water pooled at the bottom.

the room was not great. the bedding was not changed from the previous person or persons. The water was off for most of 1 day. fire alarm another day. and no microwave. but the staff were great. my door looked like it was kicked in as well. ohh and the elevator quit which was hard to walk up because my son and I both have disability.

Room was ok. Tub had something stuck to the bottom. Someone came in and emptied my garbage, moved a towel but didn’t make the bed or replace coffee, glasses etc. found that odd. Gym is missing ton of equipment, extremely dirty and broken equipment.

They messaged me the day of check-in to inform the pool was closed. Would have been nice to know sooner so I could have canceled my room without a fee to go somewhere else was looking forward to taking my daughter swimming!

The whole experience. Pool was dirty, lobby and hallways had an awful smell. Overall the room was ok. But the most important part of the room which is the bathroom was not clean. Mirror had dust on it, sink had dried toothpaste in it and on top of the shower curtain was a dried up, dirty face cloth wrap in long black hair. Disappointed and disgusted.

Bedbug exposure — PROCEED WITH CAUTION During our stay at the Radisson Hotel West Edmonton, we experienced a serious issue involving bedbugs. We observed a live bedbug crawling across the pillow in our assigned room and immediately reported it to hotel management. We were moved to another room on the same floor. To our knowledge, this room was not inspected prior to the move, and during our own inspection we observed markings on the headboard that appeared consistent with bedbug fecal matter. By that point, our belongings had already been exposed. We were concerned by how the situation was handled. Surrounding rooms did not appear to be isolated, and we observed guests continuing to occupy rooms adjacent to the affected area. The pest control response appeared minimal, and we were not provided documentation, guidance, or the name of the pest control company. Only a partial refund was issued. This trip was especially significant, as we traveled to Edmonton to renew our vows, and we had priceless cultural and ceremonial items, including regalia and eagle feathers, with us. These items were exposed as a result of the circumstances, causing significant emotional distress and potential financial impact. Due to the exposure and how it was managed, we are now facing additional costs and precautions to protect our homes. Based on our experience, we would strongly encourage prospective guests to consider alternative accommodations.

The room and washroom was dirty. Toilet bowl had poop marks in it and toilet sink had toothpaste stains when we arrived in the room. We also notc8ed multiple chewing gums stuck on the ceiling that looked disgusting. Bedsheets looked like they were not changed after the last guests. There were food stains on the feet side of the bedsheets. There was some sauce type of goop dried up on the couch. It was a horrible experience and we will be weary of staying in Radisson hotel chain in future.

The floor was filthy and we ask for a broom to clean it and staff let us us the broom instead of making sure it was clean There was food, hair and crumbs on the floor and the tv stand had dried ketchup or ham on it! The room was freezing and couldn’t adjust the heat as the cold air was blowing in through the event of the air conditioner

I booked a one night stay, check in on May 20th, 2025 and checking out on May 21st, 2025. Things were ok at first. I was greeted by the front desk staff, room was nice. The night was uneventful. But the next morning, I woke up to something crawling on me. I looked around the bed and headboard and quickly realized the bed was infested with BED BUGS. So many, that I easily swept four big ones that were full of blood into a cup. I gathered my belongings and went down to the front desk. We live in Edmonton, and although it’s disgusting, bed bugs happen. HOWEVER, this was not a new infestation. I looked along the cracks in the head board, and there were eggs, tiny bugs, and more big suckers like the ones I caught in the cup. I arrived at the front desk with my cup of bed bugs and asked for the manager. The front desk person stated that they are the front desk supervisor. I gave them the cup. She looked grossed out, but not surprised, and asked what room I was in. I told her, 5113. She asked me what I wanted her to do. I told her I at minimum wanted a refund. She asked how I booked, and I said online. She then tried to tell me I needed to call the site I booked through to get a refund. I said absolutely not, I am here in the hotel talking to the front desk staff. It is not my job to secure a refund from a company that offered a terrible experience; it’s theirs. I admittedly became quite heated at this point, words were exchanged, and I left with no assurance of any refund.

The check in was quick, due to me having pre paid our stay. We booked a two queen bed standard room. The room was spacious. It needs a deep clean!!!! The carpet was dirty and had small pieces of garbage on it. The TV remote was sticky and had some chunks of “I don’t want to know” on it and the sink area wall had stains on it that were questionable. The a/c ws so loud, it was impossible to sleep with it on.

The room itself was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only issue is if you are going to stay here don’t stay on the side of the banquet room. We were awake till 4 am because of the loud dj, music and people partying in the parking lot. If we stay in the area again we will make sure to stay in a quieter part of the hotel or a different hotel all together

Took 3 attempts to access my room with the key cards. Had to go up and down to the front desk two times after initially checking in. Eventually had to be given a new room as the battery on the door of the other room was dead. My room is located on the 6th floor in the tower. Elevator was dirty and the glass on one of the pictures in the hallway is smashed with jagged pieces of glass sticking out. Someone can easily be cut. Room was fairly clean but the bed was uncomfortable and why are the pillows so small? Likely will not book here again in the future.

Wasn’t a comfortable stay. Beds weren’t nice Bedding wasn’t good. Pillows were flat. Charged for 2 water bottles which were kept as complimentary in the room. AC wasn’t working properly Bed corner to the window was so code to the wall that everything I was getting up I was hitting myself with the baseboard.

Your front desk clerks were very friendly. Our room was clean however there was Luke warm water only so unable to shower. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and led to difficulty getting to and staying asleep.i woke up with a sore back and my friend had sore hip. There was no fan in bathroom ceiling and it was very loud when you turned bathroom light on. Little things such as poor painting,trim work,rusty toilet paper holder etc kinda gave a person a less nice hotel experience. The man working the restaurant at hotel was rude and miserable which other guests stated was his usual demeanour.Although this man leases the restaurant he still leaves your guest with poor impression of facility. When booking online it stated there was a breakfast included which there isn’t-false advertising. Things such as missing paint around elevators etc leave an impression of an unkempt facility.

Decent stay. Fit the budget. Hotel rooms needs a refresh. Ceiling line stains, walls were also showing wear. Bathtub grout needs redoing. Walls were thin. We could hear people from next door as well as upstairs.

Honestly wasn’t happy they asked for a card of file so we provided one they told us it wouldn’t be charged we checked out Sunday and checked our card to see it was card not once not twice but three times I don’t recommend this hotel

★★★★ I had a comfortable stay at the Radisson West Edmonton. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the free parking and the smooth check-in and check-out process. One detail I really liked was that the front desk staff didn’t announce my room number out loud when handing me the key — a small but thoughtful touch for privacy. However, I was disappointed to be told there would be a $35 charge for early check-in, even though rooms were available. I understand policies vary, but having worked in hotels across two countries, I’ve never seen this fee applied when a room is ready. It felt unnecessary and not very guest-friendly. I didn’t use the pool (no hot tub) or the fitness centre, and I wasn’t informed where it was — though I didn’t ask. Tried to call 4 times on my drive there to request an early check in, they never answered the phone. When I got to the hotel and asked about it they said they would call when my room was ready and never did. Staff was not very helpful. The elevator was disgusting as were the hallways. The room was decent however everything else about the place definitely made a negative impact

This is a gem, located close to everywhere I’d like to go, eg WEM and Ft Edmonton Park. Our room was quiet clean. The parking available and free. We will be staying here again. The price was very affordable.

Overall stay was good. The area was very questionable. They lock they front doors which makes sense cause of the people in the area. They need to update their information on to the site. The ammendities stated in the room I booked were not there. For instance the King suite room claimed to have a microwave and stove top. My room did not have those. I asked about it when I checked out and they said Expedia has the wrong information and is using the old pictures and details. I did let them know they are the ones who need to update with Expedia. Send them new pictures

We were on the 6th floor. Room wasn’t as thoroughly cleaned as it should have been. Rough people hanging out around the property. Staff were great though. Bed and bathroom were mostly clean though.

Will not be returning this hotel again! There were stains on the chair, the carpet, and the walls. The carpet has spots that are hard and crunchy. There is something DISGUSTING in the bathtub and the bathroom door has stains of dirty peints that were not wiped down. NO THANK YOU! Even the restaurant and lounge were disappointing, closing at 10pm on Friday night. The kids couldn't even enjoy a decent swim because the pool was freezing!

Service was excellent, Eden at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. While the hotel could use updating, everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and service there was also excellent. Would highly recommend

It was very cold the 2 nights I stayed and the room was warm and clean. The front desk was very friendly and made you feel welcome. The maintenance guy asked us if the room was warm because it was so cold outside. The restaurant had good service but the food was just ok. Wouldn’t eat there again.

Pool was nice. Bed was comfortable, issue with fridge but front desk was made aware. Could have had better quality towels. Restaurant was good. Only real complaint was with the TV. Controller did not allow you to set up your own streaming stations. Very archaic
