There was some kind of machine in the pool area, covered by a big tarp, and the hot tub also had a tarp over it but I called front desk, and they just told me to drag it off.And the jets didn't work anyway. There was a big smear of something white in the middle of our window, which my niece touched without realizing. However, we did appreciate the price, the location, and the friendly staff. The beds were comfortable. And the room was otherwise fairly clean. We have stayed at this hotel several times and will continue to stay because our overall experience was a pleasant one.

We have stayed here many times. The staff are always very accommodating and helpful. They do need to do some upgrades though. The wifi does not work on the TV so you can't stream or listen to music. Also the pool area was a little cringy. My boys didn't want to go in. No jets on the hot tub either.

We stayed in the presidential suite #519 full hot tub room. Very big and clean. Older hotel but can’t beat the price or location. Parking 10.00 extra a night and had no issues. Pool is a wading pool can’t swim in in it but little kids would have a blast I’m sure. Staff were excellent and the doors are locked after a certain time to keep the bums out lol. Breakfast was ok typical Continental they used to have a really good Chinese restaurant there but closed for Reno’s right now. But lots of other great restaurants within walking distance. Definitely give this one a try.

Very outdated. Checked in and the house keeper was still in our room so we got a different one. One of the outlets looked melted like it caught fire. Wallpaper peeling, bed very old and could feel springs. Shower was old and yellowed. There was something big and brown at the bottom of the pool. Hot tub jets didn’t work and tiles going to it were all cracked and glued together. Honestly this place is an accident waiting to happen and I don’t know how the other reviews are so positive

Room was clean but was dated. My husband took the kids to the pool and he said it was very small. Not what we expected from the pictures. Breakfast was not great. Was fine if you just needed somewhere to sleep.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn was very enjoyable. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The price was reasonable for being downtown Edmonton. The hot tub and sauna worked very well. The pool is a little small but good enough for kids to play in. The rooms are good and the breakfest is as well.

The pool was so cold it was unusable. The hotel was being renovated. Several unhoused people would also sneak into the buffet in the morning.

Room was dirty. Dust, dirt and debris all over window sill and carpet. Coffee machine didn't work, conditioner was empty, kleenex was empty, unopened cooler found just beside the bed. $10 chathe for parking , and key cards did not work after midnight.

Besides the duvet having many rips ...the Air condition in our room was exactly beside one of the bedheads. Night one we didnt get much sleep and had to sleep with our heads by the foot of the bed the following night. The kitchen staff aren't attentive. Guests have to clean up tables for themselves. Staff was seen removing garbage bin lid. Emptying garbage metal cannister from the tea station into the garbage bin (knocking/resting it directly in the opened main garbage where its touching all the past breakfast garbage that was dumped before). That emptied metal cannister was placed back on the tea station table (not sanitized or even wiped). That same staff went into the kitchen and within seconds (literally) appeared with a food container of bacon that was added to the bacon on the buffet line. (All of this in the same gloves since touching and opening the garbage bin etc.).in addition to roofing tiles loose or half opened, Dining room isnt properly cleaned or swept. The pool room has a loose set of rails to enter the pool. There is a large infrastructure that is surrounded by alot of dark muck and it covered by a very dirty, filthy and discoloured material exactly beside the hot tub. (Its obvipusly been there for while based on at the gunk surround the foot of it). There is a bit of rubbery mterial just bundled up exactly at the other side of the hot tub / in the walkway (looks like the cover).

It was clean and the staff was very nice. It wasn't fancy but it was comfortable. I couldn't adjust the temperature in the room but it was comfortable enough. There were a bunch of questionable people hanging around outside at night but I'm assuming it's because there was a bar right there. I had 3 locks on my door so that made me feel a bit better. I would recommend this place unless you want a nice pool to swim in. The pool here is rather small.

The bed was comfortable, sheets clean. Found a dead moth under a tray. One of the white black out curtain panel had 3 wholes. Air conditioner very old and even on high did not cool the room. Breakfast was very good. Older property needs some upgrades.

The hotel was in an "okay" area of town but not near too many places to eat I thought. But it was also a holiday weekend, so that did not help. My co-workers room was better than mine. I had an anarchy symbol scratched into the glass on my window. The edges of all the windows were foggy. Those windowns had not been replaced in many years! My room was also next to a three lane road which was noisy, There was also no ice or vending machines on our floor. It just looked old and dated from the outside. I would not stay there again.

The TV unlike most hotels these days, would not allow us to log in to our own Netflix or Prime streaming accounts which left us incredibly bored in the room. This was super inconvenient but the lady at the front desk offered us a refund on our parking for the night so that was nice customer service. The condition is aged in the hotel but it was clean. We would stay again but next time would bring our own means of entertainment

It’s our first time to go on that hotel but 1 staff is rude(boy) good thing there’s one staff in the morning when we check out he’s nice. The rude staff in the afternoon he even tell us if you don’t believe me you can see it here, it’s not that we don’t believe him bit the thing is he can say it in a proper way, he can explain it in a nice way not like not. We are not going to book there again

Our stay was AMAZING!!! The gentleman who checked us in was VERY friendly and courteous. Sheryl was super FRIENDLY and used customers names when addressing them. She went above and deuond to help me with navigating my trip on my phone. She was AMAZING!! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!

Sheryl at the front desk was amazing. We called because we had arrived early and she told us about the Choice Privilege Membership Program that as a member you are able to check-in early without a fee. Besides being really friendly, she was so helpful. Gave us some options for meals and gave us a little map and showed us how to get there. Everything was within walking distance including getting to Roger's Place for the hockey came. Excellent experience and Sheryl made the experience even better. Thank you Sheryl for helping give us lasting memories. It's refreshing to see someone that truly cares about the person in front of them and gives such great service.

From the time I got there, staff there every step from parking, coming through back door there was a guy holding door so I could come that way instead of going all the way around. A/C issue and they had a guy there 5 min after I checked in to solve issue. Front desk staff very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Thanks for making our stay so great. We will return if attending another Roger’s event 100%

I feel I need to reach out and share my experience with you regarding my stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites in downtown Edmonton. While traveling for work, I was awoken at 4 am by a loud and repeated pounding on my door. Once I finally decided to see what was going on and answer the door, the night manager, Fezy and security guard, Mani were there filming me in my underwear and yelling repeatedly at me. They started by yelling asking what I was doing in the room. Then demanded to see my key. Then after that, demanded to see photo ID. All this at 4am, while half asleep, and very confused. After I gave them everything they were asking for, they gave no apology other than saying thank you and walking away. When checking out, I was offered a $40 discount and told they had a new employee who assigned me to the wrong room. That is downright insulting. My night's sleep was completely ruined and had a long day ahead with many kms to cover on the road with a lack of sleep. I was treated absolutely horrible and insulted at checkout. I can only imagine how that would have gone if my wife or kids were with me. I will never stay here again, and wouldnt recommend anyone book here

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They replaced my fridge when I mentioned it was leaking water, always asked if I needed anything. Hotel is conveniently located by train and bus, though many things are walking distance.

Didn’t love how unsafe it felt. Even though you need a key card to get in elevator. The only time I felt safe was in my room when the door was locked. The hotel has a bar attached to it and if coming in when people are drinking it is not the safest feeling.

Very nice people working here. They did all they could to accommodate our requests. It is going to look great!!! They are currently renovating. This makes check in and check out at busy times a bit inconvenient . Breakfast was very good. A great stay.

The room was gross and we heard people screaming all night outside the window. Breakfast was overcooked and barely anything available. Paid extra $10 for parking. Mattress was stained and yucky. Staff was pleasant. That’s really the only positive. Honestly way over priced.
