Wyndham Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre

The rooms were adequately cleaned, quiet room. Staff were friendly and helpful. The property is starting to show its age, rooms would benefit from an update. Mattress was comfortable, T.V. Updated, but one needs more. Ceiling, bathroom tiles, molding, paint could all use a makeover.

We got a nice room. BUT the sink in the bathroom was broken, I am not sure why they put us in that room. I didn't realize until late in the evening. When I did bring it to thier attention, they put us in another room. It worked out.

This joint has a Sauna!! Pretty cool. Plus staff were super friendly. Really cool hotel right next to a main road in Edmonton.

Absolutely terrifying experience - I would not recommend and will never stay here again. I stayed here for one night with my child. The room was not clean and when I asked to move rooms the security guard came to my room demanding the key from me before I was ready. I wasn’t given any notice, he just showed up aggressively and in his broken English said “THIS IS MY ROOM NOW, KEY, KEY KEY.” I told him I wasn’t ready to move yet (baby in hand) and needed a few extra minutes to grab my bag, he stood at the door and waited. As I grabbed my things I wondered if I should even be staying at this hotel if this is how I am being treated but we had checked in at 11pm (coming from the airport) and it was already midnight so I stayed the night. When I notified the general manager the next day, he had nothing to say. No accountability, no follow ups, no apologies for the behavior of his staff. It was quite disheartening. I will not be staying with Wyndham ever again. I will be contacting HR.
