Stayed 2 nights

We had an awful stay having to cut it short only staying one night. We tried to call beforehand to ask about parking and give our ETA but no answer, when we arrived and the gentleman said he had unplugged the phone As soon as we went inside an awful smell of dogs hit us. After noticing little toilet roll, no tea, coffee, milk we went to the local shop for supplies and air freshner. The room also lacked hand towels. Bedding seemed clean. When we came back another guest was crying on the phone to the police as her bag had been stolen from her room. We were shocked and went to check our room which then smelt of cannabis but hadnt earlier so we were unsure if anyone had been in. Hearing more commotion, another guest explained to us this was a half way house where the homeless have been placed. As it was then 11pm.we tried to get some sleep but was difficult with dogs barking throughout the night and shouting downstairs at the front of the property. We were also worried someone may enter our room so we put a chair under the door as we were unable to lock it from the inside as the lock was broken Also no breakfast is available either. We left for the day taking all of our belonging just incase. We arrived back late afternoon to abit more commotion. We were told by another resident the owner had emptied a guests room and had placed her belongings outside. When asking the owner what on earth was going on he said 'the place is a sh*t show' and walked off into his room.

Absolutely disgusting hotel, the place and carpets smelt of sewage. The lady told us that we had bed bugs and she would get in trouble if she told us anything. Upon hearing this we immediately wanted to leave but it was so late we was not able to find accomodation and was forced to stay the night. Never again

This accommodation should not be advertised on booking sites. It reeks of dog urine bottom to top, is in a bad state of repair and dirty throughout. Lost money rather than stay. False description on booking sites. Worrying area and filthy streets.

Do not send any person to this hotel. There are no words to come near the discusting state of this building. The hallway stunk of sweat an inmate secretly told of bed bugs. We tried to book elsewhere but everywhere needed advance booking. When we reluctantly returned in the evening we discovered our back pack was missing. Police were called but before they arrived the landlord took us to a room and said look under the bed… there was the back pack! make of this story as you will. It is all true! The casing of an electrical plug by the bed was hanging off. Sadly I took no pictures
