Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, allerdings ist der Preis viel zu hoch. 40 Euro für das Frühstück und über 40 Euro parken pro Tag ist schon echt viel. Kann man machen, aber machen andere deutlich günstiger.

The Meridien is a very clean, modern place with a beautiful views of the Aussenalster in Hamburg. The pool and spa are great, and the breakfast and bar are fantastic, but pricey.

Mal wieder ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das hotel ist fußläufig vom Hbf erreichbar. Das Ambiente ist Mördern und schick. Das Frühstück ist überragend. Das Spa hat eine Sauna und ein Dampfbad sowie mehrere Duschen und einen Pool. Dazu gibt es einen Fitnessraum mit modernen Geräten.

Das Le Meridian ist ein 5 Sterne Haus….. Empfang, Service, Peronal entspricht diesem Niveau. - Einzig der Spa Bereich ist „sparsam“ eingerichtet und scheint später eingeplant worden zu sein - jedenfalls das einzige was keine 5 Sterne aus meiner Sicht verdient. Freundlichkeit und Service des Personals lassen wiederum keine Wünsche offen. Sylvester war jedenfalls stilvoll und ein Erlebnis der angenehmen Art ! Danke dafür

Der er meget larm fra gaden på trods af at der står at der er støjreducerende vinduer. På vej derned fik vi at vide at poolen var lukket. Havde vi vist det, havde vi valgt et andet hotel

Liked: spacious room with all you need and more; nice and well located hotel; good breakfast; really friendly personnel. Disliked: the elevators are badly programmed (all elevators respond together to the knobs...), 1 out of 3 was out of service and 1 had a door that would often not close; my mattress was a bit too worne so I had a bit of a backache; bar too expensive (5€ for a 20cl water or a cola for example; swimming pool too small for such a big hotel.

There were two main issues. The first was a clogged sink in the bathroom along with a leak on the back of the sink that seeped water onto the floor. The sink took a long time to drain. It was almost completely plugged. Another issue was a beeping sound intermittently coming from the room safe. The staff were excellent. The food was also very good. The only issues are noted above.

Brilliant hotel. Views were amazing ! Breakfast was great. Shame we didn’t get to eat in the restaurant with it being fully booked. Spa nice and relaxing. Room service was good. Bed not too comfortable. Pillows need refreshing and headboard collected a lot of dust. Extractor not working in bathroom and not sure how to use air con / heating Would go again

Das Schleifen des Aufzuges ist die ganze Nacht laut im Zimmer direkt neben dem Aufzug hörbar. Der reine Horror wenn man aus beruflichen Gründen in HH ist und sich den ganzen Tag konzentrieren möchte! Das Zimmer war sauber, aber wie immer wenn man alleine reist und nur ein Bett benötigt eine Abstellkammer! Dass man alleine Reisende auch für 180/Nacht (ohne Frühstück!) in eine Abstellkammer verfrachtet ist meiner Meinung nach eine Frechheit! Das Zimmer war keine 100/Nacht wert!

I simply can not understand the good reviews on this hotel. We experienced a Staff that was inexperienced and we received no help when we asked for help and they never cleaned our room. The only good about our stay was the pool. I would not recommend this place if you plan a vacation with family

This property was very nice. My only complaint is that I booked a room with a view of the river, but what I got was on the 2nd floor behind the entrance and only had an extremely obstructed view and could not see the river at all.

The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable, too low and too soft and the pillows were too big and hard. The bathroom door was made of glass and simply does not give proper privacy even for a couple. We were unfortunately disappointed.

Stayed in a duplex suite and it was outstanding. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. The view over the Alster is magnificent. The bathroom is vast with a powerful shower and fantastic toiletries by (Malin+Goetz). My 9 year old received just as warm a welcome, with his sofa bed made up, a monster-inspired cupcake, kids robe and slippers. A huge range at breakfast with super-friendly staff who gave my kid the right level of attention.

We’ve had an amazing stay at Le Méridien. We were welcomed by a professional yet very friendly frontdesk and given the keys to our room 3 hours before normal check-in. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view overlooking the Alster Lake. The breakfast buffet is so good - and so is the Heritage Restaurant for a night ‘in’. Located on the 9th floor, the view is even better. The entire staff has been very friendly to us and our 3 y/o. Kids being allowed in the pool (family-time 8am-6pm) was part of the reason we chose the hotel and it’s been the best stay. We’re definately staying there again if we’re coming back to Hamburg.

Ein fast perfekter Aufenthalt. Warum nur fast? Sollten Sie zur Gruppe der "Leichtschläfer" gehören, bitte kein Deluxe Zimmer mit Blick auf die Außenalster buchen. Trotz guter Isolierung ist die Straße mit Rauschen im Zimmer permanent hörbar. Großes Lob an alle Mitarbeiter die mir meinen Aufenthalt trotzdem zu einem Erlebbnis gemacht haben.

Der Check in ging ohne Probleme, da ich recht kaputt war, wollte ich mir etwas zu essen bestellen. Weder über die Roomservice Taste, noch über irgendeine andere, war ein Ansprechpartner erreichbar. Habe es dann über mein Handy probiert, auch ohne Erfolg. Letztendlich bin ich zur Rezeption und habe da dann mein Essen bestellt, was dann auch kam. Als Kompensation bekam ich einen späten Check Out, der mir eigentlich wenig nutzte. Das Essen und Wein kamen zügig. Nur, Pommes dunkelbraun, kurz vor verbrannt, dass Wiener Schnitzel auch schlecht. Goldgelb sieht anders aus, zudem kein Salz / Pfeffer dabei. Auch da, ich brauchte das Essen letztendlich nicht zahlen, aber es wäre mir anders sehr viel lieber gewesen, es mit Genuss zu essen und nicht weil ich es hungrig letztendlich halb gegessen habe. Was vielleicht noch nützlich wäre, wenn man in den Türrahmen so „Froschaugen“ anbringt, da sie entsetzlich laut ins Schloss fallen. Da sehe ich die 5 Sterne leider nicht. Ansonsten tolles Bett, schönes Zimmer. Beim Check Out gab es eine Situation die mich doch sehr nachdenklich stimmte. Ein älteres Paar wollte sich ein Zimmer mieten, konnten aber keine Kreditkarte vorweisen ( ab einem gewissen Alter generell ein Problem), und mussten gehen, obwohl sie seit Jahren dort regelmäßig zu Gast sind. Barzahlung lehnte man ab und EC Karte auch. Ist das Gastfreundlich?

Was vielleicht noch nützlich wäre, wenn man in den Türrahmen so „Froschaugen“ anbringt, da sie entsetzlich laut ins Schloss fallen. Da sehe ich die 5 Sterne leider nicht. Ansonsten tolles Bett, schönes Zimmer. Beim Check Out gab es eine Situation die mich doch sehr nachdenklich stimmte. Ein älteres Paar wollte sich ein Zimmer mieten, konnten aber keine Kreditkarte vorweisen ( ab einem gewissen Alter generell ein Problem), und mussten gehen, obwohl sie seit Jahren dort regelmäßig zu Gast sind. Barzahlung lehnte man ab und EC Karte auch. Ist das Gastfreundlich?

I simply can not understand the good reviews on this hotel. We experienced a Staff that was inexperienced and we received no help when we asked for help and they never cleaned our room. The only good about our stay was the pool. I would not recommend this place if you plan a vacation with family

Trotz guter Isolierung ist die Straße mit Rauschen im Zimmer permanent hörbar. Großes Lob an alle Mitarbeiter die mir meinen Aufenthalt trotzdem zu einem Erlebbnis gemacht haben.

The hotel was quite expensive for what they offered. yes with the swimming pool/sauna/steam room it's a bonus. 3 pm check-in was missed because of a faulty aircon in the room by an hour. Compensation of free drinks in the bar but just because I have asked for it. One of the lifts was not working out of 3 lifts. Breakfast for me was ok only not outstanding cos I'm vegan. Heritage restaurant did not meet my expectations as the food was over an hour late and barely anything on my plate.

Værelset OK men kun en seng til to voksne og et barn. Vi spurgte i receptionen, da vi regnede med at de havde glemt en opredning. Fik besked om, at vi kunne købe en opredning for 50 euro pr. Nat. Ydermere var restauranten lukket pga. renovering men deres rooftop bar kunne benyttes i stedet og havde en udviddet barmenu. Super lækkert men da vi ville benytte rooftop baren var den så lukket pga. privat arrangement. Hotellet er OK men oplevelsen var ret skuffende.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Meridien. 2 adults and 2 boys aged 5 and 7. The staff were super nice towards the kids - Especially at the breakfast buffet. Our check-in were a bit late, so we were given a voucher for drinks at the rooftop bar - which is a nice place with good views over the lake and Hamborg.
