Mercure Hotel Hamburg Mitte

We stayed at the hotel from Saturday to Sunday in week 37 of 2024. Although we had already checked in online, we had to go through the standard check-in process again at the reception. This puzzled me. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel. Clean, neat, and quiet. Good parking facilities (€20 per day) in the basement, though the entrance was somewhat narrow. The breakfast was way too expensive (€24 per person), so we went to one of the several nice cafes and bakeries close to the hotel.

Super nettes Personal, können sich viele Hotels eine Scheibe von abschneiden. Zimmer praktisch, sauber und erfüllen ihren Zweck. Bett war bequem. Parkgarage ist tatsächlich sehr eng, aber trotzdem schön eine Parkmöglichkeit vor Ort zu haben.

Super flot firestjernet hotel med super flot indretning. Flotte værelser med lækkert interiør. Flot indrettet loungeområde med bar og deli. Lækker morgenbuffet

Generell alles in Ordnung und sauber. Service sehr freundlich. Das Parkhaus ist für größere Autos jedoch eine Katastrophe, man sieht an der Ausfahrt auch die vielen Kratzer, die dort fast unweigerlich zustandekommen. Der Hauptgrund, warum ich nächstes Jahr ein anderes Hotel nehme.

Preis Leistung Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Zimmer ordentlich und ruhig aber scheinbar schon länger nicht renoviert. Wände verschmutzt. Ventilation im Bad nicht sauber. Waschbecken Ablauf verstopft. Frühstück: große Auswahl, auch ausreichend. Leider teilweise schon kalt und O- Saft sehr wässerig. Tiefgarage hat Einfahrt Höhe von 185cm ist aber sehr!!!!! Schmal. Nix für große Autos. Stolze Parkgebühr von 24€/Nacht. Trotzdem guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Stadt.

The hotel is an excellent location for access to the Messe and is 750 m from a S and U Bahn station. Staff and check in were excellent. Breakfast was very good with a broad selection breads, pastries, cheeses, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages. The rooms were modern and clean with 2 types of pillows offered and both were of good quality. The mattress and bedding was pleasant. That is the good. The two notable not so good issues were parking and air conditioning. The underground garage is very tight to get around. I would not want to try to take anything larger than a small SUV into the garage. Two cars damaged their bodywork navigating the garage. Regarding the air conditioning, it was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32c. The room at check in was 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow hot air. Front desk explained the compressors don’t run when the outside air is 25 or below. The only relief offered was for us to crack the window – the room looks out over a major road and was very noisy most of the night (police and firefighter sirens, buses, and truck traffic) – that only marginally cooled the very hot room. We were forced to sleep in a noisy sauna that never cooled over the course of the evening. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature.

For what it offered, it was a really nice hotel. We booked the queen room for two people, but really struggled with the space, it was just too small for us. Whoever sleeps on the right side of the bed, needs to disturb the person on the left to use the bathroom which just isn't ideal. We also found that our bedsheets and pillowcases had red patches on them. I won't say the word in-cass this review is suppressed, but it made us very uncomfortable. This was just our room though. If you're looking for a nice central place in London, this is it. Just be very mindful about the amount of space you actually have in the room when you book a queen, or consider booking something larger.

Room was cleaned daily and im great condition, staff where super friendly and acomidating and the cleaning team where lovley to speak with.

Hébergement et literie de qualité; confort et bonne utilisation de l’espace. Le parking est une option pratique mais il est difficile d’y circuler (largeur rampes). Nos chambres, très propres, sentaient cependant l’une la fumée, l’autre le renfermé à l’arrivée.

Everything was perfect, aside from the cleaners waking me up two times by accident by opening the door in the morning. Recommended place to stay.

Das Einchecken mit der Dame an der Rezeption war leider super unangenehm, da sie anstatt mit uns zu sprechen nur gestikuliert hat und sie auf Fragen eigentlich keine Antwort geben konnte. Im Zimmer war leider unser Nachtisch sehr staubig und ein Wasserglas sowie eine Tasse sehr dreckig und nicht benutzbar. Bahnhof Dammtor sowie Sternschanze innerhalb von 10 Minuten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstücksspots in unmittelbarer Umgebung, maximal 5 Minuten zu Fuß.

Business hotel near convention centre and university of Hamburg. Good size room for Europe, with comfy (and slightly soft bed) and not too big pillows. Modern bathroom with good shower stall. Good work desk and good internet connectivity. Breakfast has a solid choice of options. About 5-7 minutes walk from nearest u-bahn station.

The air-condition in Our room was too loud. Though in Our second room it was okay. Tube stops just 5 min away. Parking lot at Hamburg fair also 5min away.

Das Queen-Bett ist für zwei Personen doch recht schmal. Das sollte einen bei der Zimmerbuchung beachten. Unser Zimmer war leider sehr dunkel und nach vorne zur Straße raus. Die ist sehr laut. Frühstück war gut. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich.

It was a nice, well-structured property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom transom required stepping over to avoid pain, and that was exceptionally frustrating.

Hotel is in a good location, rooms were ok, a little on the small side. The hotel is more geared up for the single business traveller (very convenient for the exhibition centre) that it is for couples. Breakfast was good. Not sure about the night shift security, when we can back late one evening we just walked in unchallenged. 7/10 overall.

Das Hotel ist schick, aber das personal ist nicht sehr hilfsbereit!!!! Eine Gruppe von jugendlichen hat sich extrem laut verhalten auf dem Flur wie in ihren Zimmern. Nach dem ich die jugendlichen angesprochen habe wurde öfter gegen meine Tür getreten. Die Dame am empfang hat mir versichert sie kümmert sich um das Problem, es ist nichts passiert! Das ganze ging bis 1 Uhr nachts auch eine zweite Beschwerde bewirkte nichts. An statt mir ein neues Zimmer an zu bieten oder endlich für Ruhe zu sorgen, passierte gar nichts!!!!! Am nächsten Tag wurde ich gefragt warum ich den nicht das Zimmer gewechselt habe. Und als Entschuldigung bat man mir ein kostenloses Getränk an. SO ETWAS HABE ICH NOCH NIE ERLEBT !!!!!!! Es gibt genügend Hotels in Hamburg sucht euch lieber ein anderes. Wo mit zahlenden Gästen respektvoll umgegangen wird!!!! Und danke Mercure Hotel Hamburg Mitte, für die Horror Nacht, keine Erholung und der Preis war diesen Aufenthalt nicht wert!

Always a solid choice. Close to the conference venue. Centrally located for easy exploring and getting around. Staff is exceptional.

The hotel was super clean and welcoming. The staff is super attentive and wonderful.

My stay at this hotel was ruined by the behavior of a female staff member at the front desk on the last day. She claimed that I hadn’t paid for my breakfast, but I had indeed paid in cash on that day. I asked her to verify this, but she kept questioning me about who I paid. When I told her that I paid a male staff member, she insisted that no man had ever worked there and asked me to describe him, making me feel like a suspect. I reiterated that I had paid and asked her to check. She made a phone call and continued to press me, saying no such man worked there. I was a bit frustrated because I knew I had done nothing wrong and it was their mistake not to process my payment properly. Only after I raised my voice did she say she understood and told me to go. While it was wrong of the male staff member not to process my payment correctly, he had been very kind to me. The female staff member, on the other hand, continuously glared at me, treated me with anger, and considered me a liar and a thief. Additionally, it seems the hotel staff at the front desk are not aware of who is working there. It is shocking to encounter such behavior in a 4-star hotel. Everyone else I met in Hamburg was kind and humorous, but my time in Hamburg turned into a nightmare due to this hotel staff member. As long as she continues to work there, other guests will undoubtedly suffer.

Die Nähe zur Sternschanze und zur Messe ist super. In der Straße parallel zur Bahnstrecke kann man hervorragend parken. Guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Stadterkundung.

We booked the hotel for a conference we are from the US. The location was great for us as we had few good restaurants and cafe that we could walk to. Great friendly reception staffs that all speak English so helpful if you are not fluent in German. The rooms are small (This is Europe), but clean and comfortable for us. The beds were comfortable and the free WIFI was excellent. We would book again.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Zu Fuß brauchten wir gute 30 min zu den Landungsbrücken. Der Park Bloom und Planten liegt direkt gegenüber. Das Zimmer war klein aber sehr schön ebenfalls das Bad. Frühstück war reichlich vorhanden und das Personal war sehr nett. Wir würden es empfehlen und selbst auch wieder kommen.

Sauberkeit war gegeben, Personal war super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Für die Lage an einer stark befahrenen Straße kann das Personal nix. Mit offenen Fenster schlafen war leider nicht möglich, weil einfach zu laut. In der Bar gibts eine kleine Auswahl an Cocktails und div. Biersorten. Es werden auch kleine Speisen angeboten (via QR-Code im Zimmer) die es dann garnicht gibt. Außer Frühstück gibts leider nichts zum Essen

L' hotel è a 5min a piedi dalla linea U3 fermata Schlump. La colazione è varia e buonissima. Il bar alla sera per l'ultimo drink è molto piacevole con bella musica. Il letto è comodo e la stanza è pulita. Lo raccomando!

Für ein Wochenende in Hamburg ausreichend,gute Anbindung an ÖPNV, Frühstück zu teuer, aber es gibt Cafes in der Nähe.

Really helpful at check in as I arrived early, breakfast is great with a lot of fresh selection. If you want the window open it can be a bit noisy but that's about it for negative.

An dich ein typisches Hotel diner grossen Kette mit einer Reputation über dem Durchschnitt. Leider häuften sich die störenden ode r gar verärgernden Details: Umbuchung war unnötig kompliziert, auch wenn das Personal hier freundlich blieb. Wir mussten hierfür an 3 Tagen wiederholt herumtelefonieren. Die hoteleigene Tiefgarage war günstig, dafür aber auch unangenehm eng. Schon die Einfahrt/ Ausfahrt ist so schmal ausgelegt, dass für größere Wagen es schwierig ist, ohne Schrammen zu passieren. Und viel vor und zurücksetzen ist auf jeden Fall erforderlich. Die entscheidende Erfahrung war jedoch die Behandlung beim Frühstück, bei der das Personal meine Töchter gebieterisch informierte, dass dies nicht aufs Zimmer abgerechnet werden könne, sondern sofort an der Rezeption bezahlt werden müsse . Und dann wurde uns für ein gewöhnliches Hotelfrühstück 26€ per Person angerechnet…
