Super fin beliggenhed nær rådhuset og diverse shopping. Pænt og rent værelse, dejligt rummeligt. Morgenmaden var fin, men ikke prangende. Parkering koster 40 € i døgnet hvilket er samme pris som nærtliggende p-huse. Dog er der betydelig bedre plads på hotellets parkering, og personalet parkerer gerne bilen for dig. I P-husene er pladserne så smalle at du næsten ikke kan komme ud af bilen.

The location is excellent, but the hotel was covered in scaffolding yet no work was being undertaken. We couldn’t get any hot water for more than 24 hours as the hotels hot water system was down. We had to wait for almost one hour to get a drink from the bar and after 35 minutes waiting to get the bill for our meal and drinks (The hotels Bricks Bar and Restaurant) we left and paid when we returned at midnight because no one was there to pay. Then we met Nay - the daytime bar tender! She was friendly, knew exactly what we wanted, and provided excellent service with a smile. She was so efficient and competent that we kept coming back when she was working.

Not that great. Arrived from NY to find no water in entire hotel. Finally came back on in the evening. Not even a drink or coffee offered as compensation. They removed equipment from the gym which makes no sense

Servicen i specielt baren var ikke god nok i forhold til prisen. Bar-område og morgenmads-område er for småt. I baren lukkes der også gæster ind, som ikke bor på hotellet, hvorfor det var svært at få plads som gæst. Det var en dårlig oplevelse. Generelt er hotellet fint.

Hotel abgewohnt, Baustelle, Klimaanlage schon länger defekt, Lärm da Zimmer in den Hinterhof, Fenster unglaublich verdreckt, Frühstück chaotisch da Hotel sehr voll war. Mitarbeiter hingegen sehr nett und hilfsbereit, Lage auch top. Für das Geld nicht zu empfehlen.

Seit vielen Jahrzehnten buche ich das Renaissance. Das Hotel ein eines der besten "location" und einen angenehm zu erreichenden Parkplatz. Die Zimmer zum Hof sind sehr ruhig. Allerdings schmal und die Einrichtung ohne Stil, Geschmack, dunkel und ziemlich abgenutzt. Meine Zimmerwand war verschmutzt, der Toilettendeckel lose, der Duschkopf nicht zu befestigen. Das Hotel ist enttäuscht leider immer mehr. Das meiste Personal ist sehr freundlich, besonders der Portier - Essam. Bei Buchungen die ruhigen Zimmer zum Innenhof reservieren.

We got a room in the 7th floor which you only can reach by climbing a stairway from the 6th to the 7th floor. The room was extremely cold even though the temperature at the temperature control panel was set to max. After we complained an electric heater was brought to the room. We liked the breakfast and the overall appearance of the hotel and its closeness to the city.

Best hotel in Hamburg, have stayed many times before, this time in a room with a connecting door to the adjacent room. Although the connecting door was closed (and locked of course) you could hear everything going on in adjacent room occupied by a family with small children. We were out Friday evening and wanted to sleep late Saturday morning, but we were woken up by the children; no fault of theirs or their parents. It is want it is, and it is an easy fix: next time we will ask to have a room that does not have a connecting door to the next room. Everyone are so nice and I am sure that had we complained they worked have changed the room for us. We are coming back for sure..!!

O hotel é super elegante, moderno e bem localizado- próximo a lojas e restaurantes. Os quartos são espaçosos e muito confortáveis! A equipe de atendimento é incrível : desde o checkin antecipado até a venda de ingressos na recepção ! São amáveis e prestativos! O café da manhã é delicioso e variado. Além de ser um hotel aconchegante, está instalado num prédio histórico; preservado, o que lhe confere ainda mais charme !

Lång väntetid vid incheckning. Ännu längre väntetid på roomservice (som vi använde mer än en gång). Jättefin svit men förutom vatten så fanns det ingenting i kylskåpen och inga glas mm trots att det fanns ”kök” i sviten. Frukosten OK. Trist med oäkta äggröra dock. Det borde med små medel gå att ge en betydligt bättre upplevelse med så fina förutsättningar (läge, hotellskick etc).

We liked the hotel and location. Breakfast was very good. However, we had a bad experience saturday night where the hotel held an event in the hall, which we weren’t informed about. We lived at the 1st floor, and the music and noise were very loud that even ear plugs couldn’t help. We called the reception during the night, and they told us that the music would stop before midnight. That did not happened. We called the reception again, and they had a hard time even speaking to us over the phone because of the noise and music. This time they said that the music would go on at least another hour. We complained about all of this the next day at check-out. We were not properly informed, we experienced bad communication and were not offered another room or a refund.

Staff were amazingly responsive, friendly and informative. Of special note were the concierge and the head bartender both of which made our time in Hamburg exceptional. The hotel is well located for sightseeing, shopping, dining, walking, touring and use of public transit. I would highly recommend selecting this hotel for a stay in Hamburg.

Inkompetentes Personal am Empfang, wirkte eher gelangweilt und unfreundlich. Entkoffeinierte Kaffeekapseln wurden nur durch hartnäckiges Nachfragen an der Rezeption ausgetauscht, auch hier alles unfreundlich. Beim Checkout auch wieder nur die allernötigste Kommunikation, keine Nachfrage, ob es uns gefallen hat dieses Hotel sieht uns nicht wieder, schade, die Lage ist perfekt.

Inkompetentes Personal am Empfang, wirkte eher gelangweilt und unfreundlich. Entkoffeinierte Kaffeekapseln wurden nur durch hartnäckiges Nachfragen an der Rezeption ausgetauscht, auch hier alles unfreundlich. Beim Checkout auch wieder nur die allernötigste Kommunikation, keine Nachfrage, ob es uns gefallen hat dieses Hotel sieht uns nicht wieder, schade, die Lage ist perfekt.

Die Zimmer zum Neuen Wall sind nicht alle zu empfehlen. Der Autolärm selbst in der Nacht lässt kaum schlafen und war am nächsten Tag beim Frühstück bei vielen Gästen ein Ärgernis. Daher sollten man darauf achten, keine Zimmer zur Straße zu erhalten.

Was a nice hotel and was clean. service was good and bar service was ok. I think the price was very expensive considering breakfast was not included and was an additional €24-36 per day depending on the choice. In total for 3 nights stay including breakfast was €929...I feel there is far better value for money in the market which has breakfast included!

The facility is located extremely well - Lot's of shopping and restaurant opportunities within walking distance and several parking houses nearby. The staff was really accommodative and helpful in all matters. I will for sure revisit this hotel!
