Good hotel on a great location. Little outdated. No power outlets by the bed in 2025 is simply not good enough… Smiling attentive staff. Unfortunately a little superficial or American standard over the service since they don’t have a clue if you ask them for anything more complex than to tie their shoelaces. But overall happy with the experience. Don’t miss the roof top bar. Great river view. The gym have seen better days and are in need of some care. Good value for the money. Will definitely consider staying at this hotel again, but will also be open for trying a new place at the right price.

We stayed here as our flight was cancelled, a great find and we were lucky to be able to stay for two nights. We had a suite on level 17 and a premium on level 16 for our family. We were very happy with both rooms, they were excellent. We did take a look at the rooms in the ancient wing, it is a lovely setting and if we returned in the future we would stay there, it had more of a heritage feel. The pool was a decent size which we enjoyed with the kids. The roof top has great views and a decent menu, happy hour on the roof and at the poolside bar were great. Breakfast was good with a range of options, buffet style. We left early on one of the mornings so a packed breakfast was provided for which we collect at 4am on the way to the airport. The surrounding area is decent with a mix of shops and hotels, nothing if really far away what with Grab taxis being available. Some local shops provided essentials that might be needed. Staff were polite and helpful, would love to stay again.

Had a great stay at the Hotel Grand Saigon. The staff were superb - so friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous- spacious and super comfortable bed. Used the gym which was fine for a hotel gym and the pool was lovely and clean to swim in. Breakfast was great - lots of choice and a super omelette station to get fresh every day. Location is central to everything and in the heart of the buzz of HCMC. I would give this hotel 10/10. I can’t wait to visit HCMC again and wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay and a great start to my Vietnam trip!

The breafast was good but lacked variety. It was the same everyday. Closing time during the week was too early 9:30. I slept on same sheets and duvet for 5 days. NOT AS GRAND AS YOU THINK The hotel is really tired and in need of a revamp. All the furniture is extremely grubby. Bathroom had black mould. For the price you pay you would expect better! The staff in the restaurant appear busy but we spent most of our time asking for things that continually had run out. The older men working there were rude and served COLD tea and coffee. The longest time the reception staff spent with us was when we checked out and they did a room check - seriously there is nothing worth taking. One of the worst hotels we have stayed in

I had a fantastic stay, the hotel delivered on all accounts. Staff was incredible, the room I had was grand and spacious. Cleanliness was immaculate. Let's not forget the location too - it was my first time in Ho Chí Minh City and it was imperative to be close to all amenities and activities the city can offer.

Two day stop in Saigon. The hotels was modern, spacious and comfortable. The rooms had the highest bed I have ever seen!!! Shower could have been bigger. But bathrooms were clean and well appointed.

While the property has a bit of an old-world charm to it in terms of architecture and decor one is also quickly reminded about the age considering a musty and mildew smell in my suite during a 5 day stay. The windows are single glass and all sounds from cars, etc. throughout the night are easily transmitted for a disruptive sleep. Further more, the plumbing from the neighboring suites are noisy and conversation is well transmitted through the set of connecting doors with considerable gap at the bottom. Both of the toilets in my suite were dripping throughout the entire stay. The shower/bathtub are a combo with curtain, not quite 5-star quality. However, the location is convenient and the staff friendly. Just be aware of no sound insulation and a very disruptive night.

Great property, but I had an issue with check in. I booked using the PAY AT HOTEL option, but they harassed me about my credit card prior to check in, even threatening to cancel my reservation. I got food poisoning from a restaurant ( not the hotels restaurant) this staff helped me every step of the way. They first sent me to a great hospital. Then they checked up on me a few times a day for the next few days. They made special foods at no charge!!! They even extend my check out for no charge! The service is the best I have had in 15 years of traveling!

Hotel was generally positive. Service wasn't as enthusiastic as I was used to in other hotels in Vietnam. Staff seem confused that I wasn't in a suit or business casual, but had the indecency to check in wearing a tshirt and khakis, regardless of being on the other side of planet from my passport issuer. Breakfast buffet was fine. Grand cafe prices were treble to quintuple what they are on the street. Nice view of the river, though. When I left I requested a taxi, and the doorman kindly set me up with a non-metered and beatup taxi, and a driver who charged me double the Grab rate and then tried to murder (acoustically and literally) all the scooters on the way there.

The manager at breakfast on 29 and 30 Jan was rude, He stopped me from taking my juice to finish in my room and made me leave it on the table on the way out. He was shaking and pointing his finger and both myself and other guests got the impression I was a criminal stealing juice--how embarrassing and unprofessional..I was never informed of any rule like this.He needs behavioural elocution on how to treat guests.As a lawyer I am accustomed to better respect

Amenities such as shower gel, shampoo/conditioner all provided. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, so much choice with hot and cold foods. The surrounding area is packed with designer shops, malls and the Ben thanh market is about a 15 minute walk away. There is 7/11 stores/ Circle K convenience stores very close by. Would stay again.

予算の限られた旅でしたが、せっかくのはじめてのベトナムなので、15日間のうち最初の２泊だけ、歴史のある良いホテルにと考えて探すと、とても魅力的な価格でこちらのホテルを見つけました。チェックインの際もドア・フロント・ベルとスタッフの皆様はとても丁寧な対応で、お部屋も豪華。キングサイズとはいえ縦より横のほうがはるかに長いベッドに大感激！でも、一人で寝るにはもったいなく、朝目覚めると広いベッドの端っこで小さく丸まってる自分の小ささを思い知りました（ｗルーフトップバーのスタッフもフレンドリーで料理も本格的。景色も雰囲気も申し分ありません（オーダーミスをされましたが許してしまうほどの満足感でした）しかし、朝食（無料なので文句は言いませんが）はちょっと、、、今回様々なホテルで朝食をいただきましたが、品数と見た目の豪華さはＮｏ１。味はチーズはよかったですが、その他はそれほどでした。コンベンション関係の団体客のせいか一時的に満席になると料理の補充も追いつきません。バスボーイたちは英語が話せないので黙って皿を下げていきます。せめて笑顔やExcuse me.くらいは言えるはず。そして最悪なのがオムレツとフォーを作るライブキッチン。笑顔がなく不愛想ならバックキッチンで作って提供した方がいい。オープンキッチンはある意味エンターテイメントなのだから笑顔でプロの技を見せなければ意味がない。面倒くさそうな顔で返事もせず作るオムレツは白身と君の混ざりが悪くマーブル模様。クリームも塩コショウも加えられていない卵液をパサパサになるまで強火で焼き、形も崩れている。そもそもフライパンの返しで成型するものだと思うけどスパテラでこそげ取って端に寄せていくオムレツって初めて見た。。。たまたま慣れていない人がピンチヒッター的にやってたの？と思ったら翌日も同様。ベトナムのオムレツってそういうものなの？と思ったけど翌日以降３件のホテルでオムレツいただいたけど他所は諸外国や日本のオムレツとそん色なくイメージに近いものが出ていた。特別にここだけがその状態。このオムレツさえなければ「スタッフとサービス」「総合評価」はともに満点にしたはず。

Grand Saigon is a lovely and historical hotel and we were very happy with our stay. Room are nice, hotel is beautiful. There is a lovely roof top restaurant, but food is not the best and staff completely forget to service there customers.

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay here. Very beautiful property, friendly staff and easy access to district 1. The rooms are clean, spacious, beautiful toilet and very classic looking. They have a beautiful roof top bar with a world class view. Cons: I notice this property served the same type breakfast everyday. All my days i stay there the breakfast was same repetitions and it’s mostly carted for the western tourist. Not much choice for authentic Vietnamese breakfast other then Pho. I feel the should improve the breakfast selection with more appealing and flavorful.
