Undoubtedly the most luxurious and elegant hotel in Vietnam. First class service, the spa, the around the clock access to the wellness facilities, amazing dining, stunning decor, and incredible location. The Reverie was recommended to us from a few frequent flyers and lived up to all expectations. We also did the champagne Bentley city tour which was fun, comfortable, informative and accommodating. Thank you also for the surprise birthday cake for my wife. We will be back.

The service and the cocktails are outstanding.Housekeeping can be forgetful and not replenishing everything but this can be fixed with a quick call. The only complaint is that the in room A/C is smelly and musty, creating a very humid atmosphere.

I stayed at this hotel for six days. The room I entered on the first day had a strong musty smell, so I changed rooms, but the room I changed to still smelled bad. The fabric at the head of the bed smelled of sweat, and the bedding felt damp. The bed wasn't as comfortable as other five-star hotels. The area around the hotel was noisy, with performances going on day and night. The breakfast was tasteless, and the omelet was particularly bad. This hotel, given its price, needs to improve the quality of its food, bedding, towels, and other basic amenities.

The hotel was amazing. The problem was with the rooms. I booked 2 suites in the 31st floor, and both were extremely humit. The sheets would stick in your body, which makes it difficult to sleep. The humidity problem was with the whole floor, not only with both suites.

The ornamentation is so wonderfully over the top. Come for the spectacle. Staff thoughtful and ubiquitous. Bed very comfortable. The quality of construction is questionable- chunks of things (bathroom tile, credenza, controllers) falling apart in rooms. Pool is not grim, but will be. If you enjoy a bejeweled show of gilt, walk through the lobby.

This is a high class high quality hotel. We stayed in a Panorama room and it was to die for. The views of the river are amazing. The room, amenities, and the staff are all on par with the best hotels in the world. I wish we could have stayed longer but we were only their passing though before our flight home to the states. If I ever go back to Saigon, I will definitely book this hotel again.

A really beautiful property with excellent staff and service, s as nd a really central location, they did have a problem with moisture control on the 30th floor (not sure about other floors) our sheets were damp on the 1st night there appears to be no extraction, they did install a dehum which in one day would fill the tank with about 3 lt of water, overall did not impact our stay too much, but for such an upmarket hotel is something that needs looking at for future guests. We were looked after very well. Decor is amazing.

So disappointing. This hotel thinks it’s glamorous, but it’s actually really kitsch and tacky. The decor is atrocious – it looks like a McMansion that’s been done up by someone who once saw some snapshots of Versailles. The staff are lovely, as they are everywhere in Vietnam. But the basic facilities are really badly lacking. The WiFi is so slow it’s practically unusable – in order to join a video conference call, we had to walk round the corner to the Sheraton, where the WiFi is more than ten times faster (I’m not exaggerating - 50mb/s compared with 4mb/s). For some reason the bar and the lounge have horribly bright, glaring lighting, making you feel like you’re in a supermarket. And the TV in the room is really dated and doesn’t offer casting or streaming services. The rug in our suite appear to have just been washed. It was still wet and smelled really bad. When we checked in, instead of being shown straight to our room, we were first shown the most expensive suite in the hotel on another floor. Why??? To make us jealous? Or was it a crass attempt to get us to pay for an upgrade? And we weren’t offered a free upgrade, or any other perks that had been advertised as included in our deal. We had just come from the wonderful Banyan Tree hotel in Lang Co. The Reverie was a BIG step down.

We arrived very late, around 12:30 at night, after a long trip. Our stay was fully prepaid, with breakfast and minibar included. Even though, they asked foe a credit card pre-aurhorization. We offered SEVEN different credit cards (4 mine and 3 from my husband) and they were all declined. We said it was weird, because we had just used 2 of them and most of them have very high limits. They said it did not matter and if we sis not have them the money IN CASH, we would not be allowed to check in. Even though I had prepaid everything. I would loose the money and had to find another place at ONE IN THE MORNING. Seriously. They were very very rude. After half an hour that we were waiting, without a place to seat or even a glass of water,,they found out the OBVIOUS: the problem was in THEIR credit card machine. They NEVER said even sorry and still treated me like a criminal, even after they found out that the problem was with their machine. I have NEVER been treated like that before, even in simple hotels. DO NOT make the same mistake I did, DO NOT STAY THERE. There are a lot of nice hotels in the city and they do not deserve to have customers

Stayed at the Reverie for 8 nights from late July to Early August. It is a rare to be able to say that I have ZERO complaints about a hotel but here we are. Khao assisted with baggage at both ends of the trip and with his colleague Truong, went above and beyond to assist me after a luggage strap was lost in transit from the airport. At both check in and check out, Van was accommodating and efficient – answering questions and helping to problem-solve while keeping things moving. Every member of the housekeeping team that we encountered (and didn’t) was professional and courteous, doing far more than the cursory daily job that one might expect given the size of this hotel. Lien in the spa worked wonders after the stress of travel – 3 hours of tranquility that I won’t soon forget. In a sea of exemplary staff, in the Cardinal Café at breakfast who were the real standouts: Vy, Thy, Ngan, Phong, Linh, Thy & Tran (just to name a few), were the epitome of hospitable. I was ill, and I was met with genuine care and consideration from everyone after a mortifying experience. While this is likely just business as usual for those at the Reverie, their professionalism and kindness were a standout for me. The hotel is ornately decorated. Our room was large, clean and well-maintained. The gym was clean and was never full so although it isn’t huge, it did the job. The central location made most sites walkable or very easy to get to by Grab. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My recent stay at the Reverie Saigon Hotel was a regrettable experience from start to finish, and I feel compelled to share my frustrations. It is evident from the existing similar negative reviews that I should have heeded the warnings of previous guests who faced similar issues. First and foremost, my upgrade to the supposedly luxurious junior suite was overshadowed by the appalling behavior of the night front desk person, Duong. His actions were nothing short of unacceptable, characterized by a shocking level of rudeness and aggression. This type of behavior has no place in any establishment, let alone a hotel of this supposed caliber. Adding to my disappointment was the hotel's resolute refusal to provide any form of compensation for the abysmal customer experience I endured. Despite paying a premium for the upgraded room, the staff exhibited a distressing lack of empathy or willingness to address my concerns. Furthermore, the noise levels in my room on the top floor were incredibly disruptive and far from what one would expect from a luxury hotel. It is perplexing that a supposedly upscale establishment would allow for such disturbances in their accommodations. In anticipation of this review, I can only expect the same empty apologies that I received in person. It is disheartening that the hotel appears to be more focused on damage control than genuine improvement and guest satisfaction.

Access to the Reverie Lounge was another highlight. Daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails were all beautifully presented and served in a peaceful, elegant setting. Our stay was exceptional! We stayed at the residence suite side for 3 nights. The service was tier one. Turn down service was so attentive, seeing my mother had cough they sent a pack of cough drops. Room was always super clean. Acqua di Parma soaps and lotions, night eye cream. The location is superb, close to everything. The hotel has two Michelin restaurants, Mr Dhat helped us get reservations at Davittorio which wowed us. Having stayed at Park Hyatt Saigon this hotel is superior in room size and service.

Fabulous hotel! Perfectly positioned and sensationally decorated - acres of marble - with incredible views over HCMC (our room was on the 34th floor). Breakfast is amazing - there’s no cuisine they don’t cater for, and the Cantonese restaurant was pretty fabulous too. The Reverie is truly an ultra luxury hotel. The room (3023) was a good size room with very tall big window in the bed room as well as the bathroom. The room is tastefully furnished with marble covering the floor and wall. The hotel staff are very friendly provided excellent service. The daily breakfast buffet has wide selection of hot and cold choices which is highly recommended.
