This hotel is among the very best. We had a sumptuous time at the Lotte with special thank you to Ms Candy. Our room was spacious and immaculate, the service was impeccable, the pool was divine, the fitness centre very useful and every single staff member made us feel welcome. This is a luxurious stay and we highly recommend it. Thank you also to Ms Pinky and Ms Korean Butterfly. We enjoyed a fantastic burger at the hotel restaurant. We loved taking the executive package and having access to the executive lounge which is well worth it. We are already planning another stay at the Lotte!

The best hotel I stayed during my trip in Vietnam. The location is super convenient and walkable to the walking street, restaurants, shops. The hotel also has a back gate which can access to city central faster. Ask staff and they will show you. The pool is big and great.

Good location. Walking distance to main areas. We had view to Saigon river from high floor, which was nice. Everything works in the room, the staff is friendly and pool area with badminton court and sofa’s is like a little oasis. There are four restaurants inside hotel to select. Buffee dinner is super good and selection of foods is huge. I definitely go back here next time. This has been the best experience in Saigon so far out of nine hotels I have been here.

Lovely stay but would probably stay elsewhere if in HCMC. Hotel was a bit impersonal. Service was good but at times patchy especially when trying to get a drink at the pool as the pool bar was closed for renovations Just a bit bland. Breakfast was good but not wow. We had drinks at the Myst Dong Khoi and if back in HCMC would stay there. I had booked a river view room (hence why we didn’t book the Myst) but tbh the view is of a dirty quayside and a murky river. Overall was comfortable, decent if not great service at times but not what five stars might be elsewhere

Business trip. Beds, pillows, room temp and internet were all great. If you have the option, prepay for the breakfast buffet.. it is well worth it. The staff were all amazing and so was the spa. I would stay here again.

Posh looking hotel. Nice and clean facilities. Has a badminton 'court' beside the gym which provides a little fun. Great and responsive service. Huge bed that can sleep 3-4 people. Water pressure is too strong, not painful but waste water. Lights in the room turns on by itself in the middle of the night but was solved by the technician with a change of the display panel.

Sadly outdated and worn down rooms with leaking amnesties. Was told I received upgrade due to status, but received the room I booked. Plenty of better options to take your money in this city! Update: after having to stay for a night, I felt the need updating my experience. I hardly remember having had to endure such a failure of a 5-star rated place in the past years. Throughout the hotel untidy, unclean und not attentive. Relieved to switch hotel within the city. Will try to avoid Lotte on the future

Lotte Saigon was exceptional. Comfortable and spacious room. We got a complimentary upgrade to executive room. View of the river was spectacular, esp at night. However, it can be a little noisy and bright at night. Breakfast has a impressive spread. My only feedback is that the room has too few power points, there are only 2 power points at the desk area. Hence it was a little inconvenient. Suggest to provide extension cords for guests. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Property lobbies, pool, restaurants are nice but the rooms are dated. I picked this bc I recently stayed in a Lotte in Seoul and it was great. This was a significant step down. Staff is an issue. After checkin, we called bc our room was warm. A woman from the desk and two maintenance guys responded promptly, but couldn’t get the temp down. The next morning we raised the issue again, which prompted another maintenance visit, but at least they got the AC to work. Then there was a hilarious discussion which took three staff to answer the question “how long does it take a taxi to drive to the airport?”Finally at checkout, clerk “Vision” seemed insulted that I wanted to check the detail on my statement and quite put out that I wanted to split the payment between my remaining dong and a CC. Past its prime and not worth the price. Won’t return.

The check-in staff BS too much. She told me she upgrades my room when I told her I am an Expedia VIP customer. But truthfully she didn't do a thing. I booked 2 Deluxe room and I got exactly what I booked. I don't mind or care, but what bothers me is that she acted like she is giving me a favor when she didn't do anything.

The location is perfect for walking around District 1. The staff was so attentive and courteous. Felix was exceptionally helpful for our entire stay. He helped us with our luggage, called cars, gave us excellent recommendations and greeted us by name every time we passed the front desk.

The hotel staff were very nice. The hotel was clean. Because the location is right in front of a busy road you have to get your bearings in which way to walk in order to not feel like it’s not walkable. You can walk thru the back entrance to reach opera house and Nguyen hue street, you can also make a right or left to get into other areas that have more local eateries. First impressions was not easy to walk but after a couple of days we figured out the directions. Just walk instead of taking car during busy rush hour times.

Fantastic stay. Pool area is on a par with a beach resort hotel, and probably the best in HCMC. Hotel restaurants are reasonably priced, but offer excellent quality, the breakfasts were fantastic.
