The location is a little bit outside of town so you might not want to walk it if its cold or bad weather. There wasnt a bar but there was a restaurant but we did not eat there. The location seems to be more for conventions and the hotel is located in the middle of a residential area. We have nothing bad to say about the place but for us, staying just 1 night, it would have been better to pick a place closer to the town centre or with more options immediately available in terms of food and drinks

This hotel is definitely a bit... different, i think it is part a retirement center for old people? It did mean it was fully accessible and family friendly, nice big room, lots of facilities (including communal washer and dryer). Breakfast is a bit meh but ok price. Location very convenient near Ost station (great for Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald/Schinygge Platte) but also within easy walk to center and to other areas with cheaper places to eat

We had the best time staying at this property! Amazing location, very quiet, and a great breakfast. Staff were always incredibly kind and helpful. Also loved the sauna and steam room.

Very clean. Walking distance to main part of Interlaken. Free parking was great! Breakfast had many options of ham, salami, cheeses, yogurt, bread, great coffee. Also: walking distance to get to the tram to take you up to Harder Kulm, which is a must see!

So this hotel is also part of like a senior citizen community. So when I walked in, there was like a senior citizens eating at the café. The hotel is not in the main area, but it is a nice hotel and the gym and spa are very nice. The hotel staff did not make up the room very well. There was a shirt on the floor and they just left it on the floor they didn’t even bother picking it up and organizing the room. All they did was refill the same towel. They didn’t even give you new towels. If I went to the area again, I would stay in the main part of town.

Like: 10min walk from train Interlaken OST train station. Good breakfast. Dislike: although the bedroom has fresh paint, and updated, the bathroom is so outdated. There was mould in between the bathroom tiles . It looks like bathroom in a hospital. We were given a bathroom for wheel chair which we did not ask for, thus the shower and the toietl are next to each other. The floor was soaking wet after the shower was used.

I like their concept of the hotel, half senior stay and half hotel. That also the reason the entire accommodation is extremely clean and tidy , the spa facility is super , every staff are super friendly and welcoming . My room in 4/f and with 180”c Mountain View . When u wake up is such a well bonus have such beautiful view

Location is good however they do not have AC when it was 93F everyday. Like breakfast and the ambience. But the bed was not comfortable and does not have bedsheet. Use fan for the first night. From second night onward, opened the door to the balcony. Staff are nice. Overall stay is good. It was the hottest weather in August.

Big & clean room with plenty of space for 2. Nice big balcony as well! Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included which was a big plus! There was a small refrigerator for storing food as needed - it worked for what we needed. We enjoyed the stay here - would recommend & would stay again!

Great hotel 15 min walk from Interlaken Ost station. Very good sized room with nice bathroom and balcony. Nice quiet area. Close to bus stop and walkable to Ost and West train station and shops. Very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Quiet area and spacious rooms. Location was great and beautiful views of surrounding mountains. There’s no AC in the room but not required as nice cool breeze from mountains so just kept windows & doors open. Pillows are too soft and needed a small fridge & kettle in the room. Enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Beautiful room and balcony. Bathroom could use an update though, and the bed was not very comfortable. It was also very hot, there was not a vent of any kind for AC so it seemed like the thermostat was just for show. All in all, it was better than some Swiss hotels we’ve stayed at and it was pretty comfortable.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, would recommend to anyone staying in Interlaken. Rooms are spacious and the views are amazing. Staff were great and answered any questions I had during the stay. They also provided a bus pass that allowed for free local bus transportation (which was great for when it was raining) and it’s only about a 10-15 min walk to the train station.

10 minutes walk from Interlaken Ost Station. 3 bus stops from Interlaken West Station. A good location and people are kind and nice but I wouldn’t stay here if I go next time. Not cheap hotel. No air condition available and no refrigerator in the room. Have to ask for shampoo because in the shower there is only a hand and body wash.

Staff were great and answered any questions I had during the stay. They also provided a bus pass that allowed for free local bus transportation (which was great for when it was raining) and it’s only about a 10-15 min walk to the train station.

When we booked this hotel, we did not see that it’s part of a retirement home. The breakfast staff also took our friends chair because he was drinking “to much” orange juice. The glasses where small and it was supposed to be an all you can eat morning breakfast that we paid for.

When I entered the lobby I thought I was in the wrong place. It’s an old aged home with handicapped adults. When I checked in, I had a very unfriendly man who barely gave me details about anything. I asked how to book the train to the Jungfrau he gave me a website. He never informed us about a room where we could get free coffee since there is no kettle, tea or coffee in your room, no refrigerator , there is also a room where you can do your washing and drying - he never told us -we found it by accident and it was occupied too late for us. When I tried to book the jungfrau tickets, I couldn’t figure it out so I came back downstairs where I found a very friendly lady who told me the hotel was having a special ticket for a good discount . Now, why could this man not have told me that when I booked in. The rooms are spacious, but very clinical, no fridge no tea coffee. Very sparse on the toiletries too. The beds were comfy and we did have a nice big window that opened up but we couldn’t get the room properly darkened at night. There is no air conditioning but has heating . It is a 10 to 15 min walk to the oos Station to catch the trains to the Jungfrau. . The town is full of tourist groups, many watch shops, and that’s about it. Only reason to come here is to get the train to the Jungfrau for the day, which was a wonderful trip, which lasted about 6 hrs.$$$

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Artos. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Interlaken Ost and is less than a 2 minute walk from a bus stop. The surrounding area is beautiful and our room had a great view of the mountains. Staff was great and very helpful.

The location is a little bit outside of town so you might not want to walk it if its cold or bad weather. There wasnt a bar but there was a restaurant but we did not eat there. The location seems to be more for conventions and the hotel is located in the middle of a residential area. We have nothing bad to say about the place but for us, staying just 1 night, it would have been better to pick a place closer to the town centre or with more options immediately available in terms of food and drinks

This hotel is definitely a bit... different, i think it is part a retirement center for old people? It did mean it was fully accessible and family friendly, nice big room, lots of facilities (including communal washer and dryer). Breakfast is a bit meh but ok price. Location very convenient near Ost station (great for Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald/Schinygge Platte) but also within easy walk to center and to other areas with cheaper places to eat

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, would recommend to anyone staying in Interlaken. Rooms are spacious and the views are amazing. Staff were great and answered any questions I had during the stay. They also provided a bus pass that allowed for free local bus transportation (which was great for when it was raining) and it’s only about a 10-15 min walk to the train station.

Very clean. Walking distance to main part of Interlaken. Free parking was great! Breakfast had many options of ham, salami, cheeses, yogurt, bread, great coffee. Also: walking distance to get to the tram to take you up to Harder Kulm, which is a must see!

So this hotel is also part of like a senior citizen community. So when I walked in, there was like a senior citizens eating at the café. The hotel is not in the main area, but it is a nice hotel and the gym and spa are very nice. The hotel staff did not make up the room very well. There was a shirt on the floor and they just left it on the floor they didn’t even bother picking it up and organizing the room. All they did was refill the same towel. They didn’t even give you new towels. If I went to the area again, I would stay in the main part of town.

Sehr zentral gelegen und alles fußläufig erreichbar. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück leider sehr einseitig. Leider kein Bacon, kein Spiegeleier. Mit dem Zug viele interessante Ziele erreichbar. Z. B. Harder Kulm, Jungfraujoch, First Cliff Walk usw.

There was bus stop right infront of the Hotel which made the accessibility to a lot of places easy. Breakfast was included and didn't change anything in the menu which was quite annoying but there were more than a few options so it was heart breaking. Our major surprise was no fan or A/C in the room which kinda pissed me of as soon as I entered the room but on my rampage to the reception for a full refund and immediate cancellation, it sounded like it's the same at most hotels with similar ratings. And usually it isn't that hot as it was that day so keeping windows open when sleeping would do and in addition they arranged for a table fan which kind of brought me relief. I really liked the staff on making that arrangement so quickly. Everything else was very good as well and overall it's a decent place, so I could stay there again.

The hotel did not have an air condition which was a big concern during the hot summer. The hotel is with a senior living center and both these are not split up. You will find yourselves with senior citizens moving around and require to be careful, does not give a feel of a 3 star hotel and there are much better properties for the price around center Interlaken.

Peaceful quiet place walking distance to central. Bus station right outside the entrance - 2 stops to Interlaken Ost and 1 or 2 stops to Central. Breakfast is excellent. Self use of luggage storage in a dedicated room also with coin lockers that will fit a carry-on size luggage + backpack. Property itself is although not modern and partly used by retirees but room is clean and seemed newly renovated. Recommended.

It seems that the money stealing housekeeper terrifies me as well and keeps me worried about my property while I’m in the mountains.
