Excellent hotel, and a great location.Our room’s balcony was directly facing mountain ranges with beautiful views. It is about 15-20 mins walk to Interlaken ost Station, but it is very close to several good eating spots. The 24x7 access to lounge with coffee was a great plus for us, as we are early risers. Overall, a great experience.

서역에서 조금 걸어가야 있긴 하지만 근처 모두 상가라서 밤에도 밝아요. 직원분들 모두 굉장히 친절하시고 호텔방도 넓어서 좋아요. 방과 화장실 모두 굉장히 깨끗합니다. 단지 오래된 호텔이라서 그런지 카펫이 조금 낡았고 냄새가 나서 방을 좀 환기시키고 사용했어요. 그외에는 모두 만족합니다. 사우나(남녀공용, 옷 갈아입고 타올만 두르고 들어감)랑 헬스장 추가이용금 없이 사용가능합니다. 같은 층에 테라스 있는데, 커피머신과 티백 몇개 있어서 거기서 이용가능합니다. 다른 전기포트는 요청해야 받을 수 있습니다.

The room was recently renovated with a lot of space and a large closet/storage option for large luggage. Beautiful Mountain View from room with a large balcony. Lobby a little outdated compared to the rooms. Nice, welcoming bartender at the bar downstairs.

We booked the Queen Deluxe rooms on the 7th to 14th floor. Our jaws literally dropped as we entered and saw the incredible view of the Jungfrau from our balcony. It was breathe taking. The room was very spacious, recently updated, modern, and clean. We found the beds to be comfy. There’s no AC here, but a tower fan was provided and we stayed comfortable with that and leaving the sliding door open to catch the mountain breeze. (Mid July) The balcony is completely private - enjoy the views of the distant mountains and the green space below. Location is central and the upper floors take advantage of being one of the only high rise buildings in Interlaken. Elevators require room keys to use which added extra safety for such a busy city. (Although we never felt unsafe anywhere in Interlaken). There’s a lounge with a tap for filling water bottles and a machine for coffee and tea. The desk staff were incredibly friendly. We stored our luggage prior to check in, they brought our bags up after check in, and at check out they gave us bottled waters. Honestly, my only negative experience here was that the coffee from the lounge machine was not good.

I had no problems with the room except for this extreme construction noise which began at 9:50 AM on the floor above mine ( on the 7th while they gave me a room for 2 nights on 6th). At 1PM the drilling was still continuing when I left for the afternoon. The staff said they were renovating rooms. Even ear plugs did not keep out the very loud disagreeable drilling. The hotel gave me a ticket for a free drink when I talked to them about it. They said it would end by 5PM. At about $250 a night I did not expect this degree of noise! The hotel was fine otherwise but the noise was a huge disappointment. I did get a shuttle ride to the railroad station when I left and free coffee in the spa. There was no noise at night- only during daytime hours when construction was at work.

Poderia ter sido melhor. O hotel está em reformas e a barulheira começa bem cedo (havia obras no nosso andar; incomodaram muito). O hotel poderia ter nos oferecido um “up grade” para que ficássemos em outro andar, longe do barulho. Mas isso não aconteceu, infelizmente. Faltou respeito ao hospede, neste particular.

I enjoyed my stay here so much! I had a beautiful view via my terrace, facing the mountains. Hotel cleans rooms every day and does a wonderful job. Breakfast was very fancy and delicious. The elevators were super efficient - I never shared an elevator with anyone and always got one within 10 seconds. Interlaken ost is a 13 minute walk, Interlaken west an 8 minute walk. They also give you an Interlaken card for travel nearby. The only thing I wish is that there was laundry services available on site. Other than that, if I find myself in Interlaken again I will 100% rebook! Thank you all!

Poor quality hotel, old and dirty carpet through out the hotel, dirty stained building from outside, bathroom shower gets very cold and hot suddenly and frequently. Hot in the room and no AC. Poor breakfast. They want to charge extra to fry eggs. Not worth the money spent at all. Definitely, should not be 4 stars.

This hotel is located at the centre of Interlaken and is walkable from the two stations. The ambience is great but the moment we step out of the hotel, it feels crowded with travellers. The view of the mountains from the window is great. However the hotel is not a 4 star hotel because of lack of amenties and conditon of the room a) No airconditioner as the rooms can become hot during day time b) the carpets were old and dirty c) the shower and the shower curtains were basic and need refurbishment or total replacement d) the safe was pretty old and i had to call the technician e) the lifts had to be operated with the keys and it was difficult as it didn't work properly always f) the entrance was small and hidden because of offices and shops g) the breakfast could have been better

Hidden gem! It’s a standard 4 star hotel but the view of the Eiger & Jungfrau mountains is the best! I stayed at room number 113 (level 3) and 021(level 2) both have an amazing view of the mountains. But of course the higher the better. Spacious room and very practical. They recently refurbished almost 80% of the rooms so the pictures in hotels.com portal is the old one. The one I uploaded is their room after refurbishment. Worth every penny I spent! Will definitely come back again. Special shout to Melanie for her amazing customer service who managed our check-in and to the rest of Metropole Hotel staff. You guys have be very attentive!

Although it feels a little dated, it was very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent — almost right in the centre of Interlaken — with a bus stop nearby and two train stations, a supermarket, and even a casual burger restaurant all within walking distance. The highlight is the view: on clear days, you can see the Jungfrau, and the scenery from the room is truly beautiful (weather permitting). On the downside, there was no kettle in the room and, somewhat surprisingly, no coffee cups were provided.

Hotel location is central and convenient , 5 mins walk to the train station. Room amenities are disappointing and limited. Rooms : No air con, no coffee/tea facilities, no ironing facilities- have to go the 3rd floor for all these. It’s a dated property , not worth the money

Stayed in a renovated room which was great. Spacious room and great shower and water pressure in the shower. Fantastic views of Jungfrau from the balcony. Loved seeing all the paragliders landing in the park across from the hotel. Excellent location close to Interlaken West train station. If I came back to Interlaken I would stay here again.

The hotel had no AC. They had no fan like promised. The reception told us to open the windows as they were out of fans even though each room was suppose to have one. When we opened the window there were multiple bugs flying in it was so hot that we slept in the car

Everyone at the Metropole hotel (and throughout the community for that matter) was super kind and helpful. The structure reminds me of the Nakatomi Tower with its modernity and charm. Unfortunately, I don’t see Hans Gruber anywhere … But it warmed my heart as many people sounded like him! The Metropole is centrally located amongst all the action! From our 7th floor balcony my son was able to see his mom descend from the sky from a paraglider! What an amazing view of the city, mountains, and incoming paragliders! Later, our son also took the leap - Paragliding with the company, Alpin Air was absolutely the best!. Later, our family enjoyed making chocolate and (our 3 minute walk) to the Funky Chocolate Club! In the evening, after everyone settled down, I enjoyed walking to the nearby casino… Can you say Viva Las Interlaken! Everyone was so considerate. I would like to recognize Barbara for going out of her way to make our first impressions of the hotel super positive. There is so much to do in Interlaken. Plus, busses and trains are very close to take day trips if you like (we also went to Lucern). Would definitely stay at the Metropole again!!!

Perfect location to book your stay in Interlaken. It is right opposite the big park where all the paragliders land and mostly all the events take place. It is walking distance from bus station called Jungfraustrasse Interlaken. You can catch a 21 or 103 from the OST station. The staff was very hospitable. Marko who was from Portugal was very kind, Azam the front office manager, Crystal at front office was really good who arranged a shuttle for us to the station and also, Peggy and Melanie, Rita we were wonderful too. I must appreciate the warmth of this great team who is making the guests stay as comfortable as possible. PS: You can ask for kettle from the front desk after signing an authorisation form.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the train stations and most of the places. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very friendly, especially the front office staff Ramon S. (hope I spell his name correctly). When he found out it was my husband's birthday during our stay, he made it special for us by arranging a cake to be sent to our room for my husband's birthday. It really made our stay so special! Our room has a view of the Alps and the paragliders. Sitting on the balcony watching the views and the paragliders was an amazing experience! We really enjoyed our stay there!

We have just returned from Switzerland after staying 2 nights at the hotel end of last week. Checkin and checkout were both very quick and efficient and the staff were wonderful especially at checkin. Maryam at reception was very helpful. We had arrived very early but wanted to leave our luggage and get on with our site seeing. She stored our luggage, checked us in and gave us maps and tips of what we could do in the area. We were on the 6th floor and our room had a balcony with great views of Jungfrau. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Really good shower. There’s a bus outside the hotel no 21 that can take you to the Interlaken ost if you don’t want to walk in the heat. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay there again.

Hotel has a great location, right in the center by the park. Great views of Alps and the para-gliders landing in the park. Hotel is clean, lobby is nice and inviting, staff are friendly. It’s a great hotel if you want to stay in town and don’t want to spend a fortune. We just slept there, was out and about all day anyway, so hotel was perfect. It’s not a pretty “Swiss Hotel”, it’s a cement 10 story cement building in the middle of a Swiss village. Doesn’t look great, but as I said, it’s a clean hotel with excellent service and staff, and reasonable price in a perfect location.

My room looked over the huge paraglider landing site park and an amazing view of the Alps. Near bus stop. Lots of shopping nearby. Great restaurant. Okay breakfast. Nice lobby. I would have liked fluffier pillows, hair conditioner, another large towel and washcloths. The room got quite warm. There was a fan that helped a little. They have a luggage storage room.
