Knowing it is a hostel, don’t have much expectation. But can’t justify with the price. room was good size with private bathroom, but old furniture, beddings, and shelves. Waste of space for just a tiny table and small bath room. Don’t feel relaxing to stay in the room. The common kitchen was old and small, only 1 microwave and kettle, ripped counter top. Limited seating, worse than a cafeteria. Can’t imagine when it is summer tourists season how it can accommodate visitors. The only pro was great breakfast and steps away from train/bus station and supermarket.

Hostel was very good for a hostel. Located next to the train station made it very convenient to commute. There is a restaurant although the hostel is lacking a common area with a communal fridge & kitchen area. This may be intentional to drive more business to the restaurant.

We stayed in the family room and there were a lot of black mound in every corner of the shower. the wooden door was also in bad shape. There must be ventilation issue with their private bathroom. Since Swiss uses different type of power outlet from EU, if don't bring your own, you can borrow a power adapter from the reception but chances are it will not work. All the adapters I tried were overused and out of order. I gave up after a couple of try by keep switching to another one. You also need to wear all the linens on the beds by yourself and take those off when you check out.

The hotel is located next to the train station. Our balcony room facing the train station so that very noisy even in the midnight. Inside the room, there were no window , no TV, no Aircon and we had to open the balcony door to sleep in order to get fresh air. No housekeeping & cleaning services provided during our 2 nights stay. Breakfast was normal especially no scrambled eggs. One thing we would like to point out- On one day we use one of the glass door at the back of the building to enter the hotel after sightseeing (Where we didn’t know it was a path through the kitchen because there was no signage stated it is “No entry”) . At that time , a man from the kitchen scold us in a very impolite manner although we apologized and mentioned that there should be a warning signage on the glass door. We highly unhappy that such a behavior was happened in a hotel ! ( We found that there was a “No Entry Sign” on the glass door next day). Not worth for the room rate we paid!

Hostel was ok (not great not terrible) as it could use some updates such as the beds and linens. Plugs by beds don’t work well as they hang upside down. It would be helpful to have a toilet/ sink within the shower rooms. Room was very warm at night especially on the top bunk. Breakfast was fairly good and location is good. Staff were friendly.

We stayed in private bedroom with balcony. Wonderful floor to ceiling window with great views of Harder Kulm funicular, river and cows. We can hear the charming faint rings of the cow bells day and night. The trains run by regularly so you will hear it with the balcony door ajar. However excellent soundproofing if you want to close the door. Good size balcony but spider webs everywhere. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint, especially the wall next to the head of the bed. No hairdryer provided but can be rented from front desk with a refundable 20CFH deposit. The bathroom not very bright and fluorescent tube above mirror had an annoying flicker. Good sensible layout. Free breakfast was plentiful and had all the basic breads, muesli, cold cuts , cheese, juices and coffee. Huge bonus is it’s only steps away from Interlaken OST the main train station. A big Coop supermarket is across the street. We would definitely stay again.

This is our very first time staying at a Hostel which is beyond our expectations. The two receptionists who helped us checked in and checked out were above and beyond; the breakfast was exceptional; the location is unbeatable, just right next to the Interlaken Ost Station, super convenient, we highly recommend this place to EVERYONE !!

Super close to train station. A very basic hotel (if you booked a private bathroom, a shared bath will have nothing besides the bed), anything extra (towel etc) has to pay. A hair dryer requires a deposit. Do your own bed after checked in. Put bedding into the laundry basket out the elevator when check out. No services. If booked more than one day, only thing did is clean your garbage.

Perfekte Lage gleich neben dem Bahnhof. Bietet für alle eine gute Unterkunft (DZ mit eigenem Bad genauso möglich wie Mehrbettzimmer mit WC/Dusche auf dem Gang für Schulklassen und Gruppen). Das Zimmer war absolut sauber, hat viele Ablageflächen und einen guten Ausblick geboten. Das angebotene Abendessen hat ebenfalls überzeugt. Einzig negativ: das WLAN ging nur bis in den Flug und nicht im Zimmer. Wir würden trotzdem beim nächsten Mal wieder das Youth Hostel wählen.

Reiste alene på 4-mannsrom. Et veldig fint hostel hvor de var flinke med å holde områdene rene. Praktiske skap for å låse bagasjen inn i. Frokosten er ikke til å skryte av. Fellesområdene hadde mye insekter (veps i syltetøyet under frokosten, fluer på toalettet, fluer nede ved resepsjonen). Opplevde at det ikke var såpe i dispenseren på herretoalettet i over et døgn. Dessverre ikke aircondition på rommet.
