The Guesthouse

It is nice to know our booked 2 rooms are next to each other on the same floor at time of check in without request. Friendly front desk gave us 5 free ticket for transportation in City of Interlaken, She personally walks me to choose my car’s parking spot, also quickly send maintenance technician to check and turn on central air condition for us even it is supposedly off in still cold weather right after stay in our rooms. The Hey Hotel is at walk distance to everything for tourist convenience a big plus. Thank you !

Guest house is across the street from the main hotel. They do not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, these facilities are available in the main hotel.

Parking was not easy; often parked in by other vehicles. No AC and quite hot days we were there; however, location was good for us

Hotel is in a central location to tourism office and shopping, restaurants however it is a busier area. The view was directly into other peoples hotel room so a challenge to keep windows open when curtains need to be closed (you could look directly into others aswell across laneway. Not the easiest hotel to find and parking was not by hotel (about 5 min walk). We only stayed 1 night so not a big issue but if I were to stay in Interlaken for a few nights I would look for a place with parking and more importantly views and more atmosphere. Staff were great and helped me when I lost my parking tickets - really appreciated this service. About 20 min walk to Harder Kulm - but beautiful walk.

Good location near Interlaken West station and not far from Interlaken Ost station. Good food nearby. Very close to local bus stop. Self serve laundry nearby (a real plus) The room was clean, every thing worked. Nice bar in main hotel (we were in the guest house which is a seperate building but very close.

Great spot in town. Room was semi clean, the floors did not look like they had been cleaned and I kept finding hair on the sheets that was not from anyone in our group. Overall it was a good experience though. I loved that we were next to so many restaurants. One downside: parking. I thought that the hotel would know a spot but they told us that parking would cost 50 a night with them and it would be the cheapest in town. We walked over to the parking two streets over and it was 24 a night. Not happy that they either lied or didn’t know the area. Other than that it was a good trip.

I experienced an ant problem while staying at the Guesthouse. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and moved us to another room in the Guesthouse but we experienced the same problem. After the second instance, they moved us into the main Hey Hotel. I would not recommend staying at the Guesthouse, but I would recommend staying at the Hey Hotel! The main hotel is clean, has air-conditioning, and is spacious. The Guesthouse is located behind the Hey Hotel so both their locations are great - walkable to Interlaken OST and Interlaken West station! The staff are also extremely kind, friendly, and accommodating :) The hotel also provides the free transit card in Interlaken if you ask for it. If I go back, I would stay at the Hey Hotel again, just not the Guesthouse.

We stayed at the guesthouse part of the hotel, which is across from the actual hotel. Tiny bathroom with no room to move around. Not the cleanest hotel out there especially with the price that they are charging us. Location is great with nearby restaurant and train station.

The rooms are clean, the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was awesome.

Checking in felt like we were an inconvenience. We were led through to the main hotel exit and pointed to the building across the street. Seems like those staying in the Guesthouse across the street rather than the main hotel are second class citizens. The elevator carpet was disgusting and as not cleaned in the three days we were there. The bathtub and bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing. The large window over looked a courtyard (at the same level on the second floor, and there were a few guys sitting there who could easily see right in to our room, so as two females that was uncomfortable and we had to keep our curtains closed the whole time we were there. You scan a QR code to get access to their services online. We wanted a couple of extra pillows (there’s only two provided for two people and with nowhere to sit other than the bed, two pillows per person are more comfortable). I requested them through the site as indicated. We went out for the rest of the afternoon and retuned after dinner. No extra pillows were brought so I had to go get them. Lastly, they use motion sensor lighting, which is great for the obvious reasons, however, lighting is critical, particularly on stairs. I took the stairway one evening and almost fell in a dark spot. I highly recommend Interlaken—it’s absolutely beautiful. But I would not stay here again.

So if I was to judge the first room we were supposed to stay in it was awful! Though cute, the room smelled like a used litter box and unbreathable. I told the front desk and they said they'd send a maid to fix the issue while we went out. Came back, front desk said the problem was fixed and was because the room had been empty for a couple nights. Mmmm. No. Went to room, still reeked.

I will not book again through hotels.com. It listed the main hotel (Hey Interlaken) which I chose for its amenities like air conditioning and refrigerator. However without realizing it I was redirected to Hey Guesthouse which did not have either AC or fridge and it was a tiny room with a fan and a window that could only be opened from the top by climbing up on the sill. The Hey staff was very helpful and put us in a bigger Guesthouse room with large windows but still no AC and very noisy facing the street.

部屋には空調は無く、壊れた扇風機があるだけでした。 また、冷蔵庫も湯沸かしポットもなく、とても不便を強いられました。テレビはNetflixやYoutubeに対応しておらず通常のテレビ放送しか見ることができませんでした。ドイツ語ができない我々は退屈に部屋で過ごしました。 また二人部屋なのに椅子が一つしかなくとても不便でした。

The Guesthouse is utilitarian but offered all the essentials. We had no problems with the bath facilities. And it was not hot so the lack of A/C was not a problem. It was expensive but it was also the cheapest available when we booked. Also we heard nothing from the other rooms. I recommend but would urge them to offer two pillows per person.

The Hey Hotel itself is lovely, but the Guest House was far from that. There is no refrigerator, it is in a separate building that smells funny, one bed was under a low part of tue ceiling and my son hit his head twice in the middle of the night, and the water would not stay a consistent temperature.

The property was very convenient to shopping and bus stop, but the room they gave us was on the 4th floor which looked like an attic. Our heads got bump all the time on the ceiling. It would have been nice if there was a small table below where the TV was.

The guest house doesn’t have any AC and it just has a small fan. The rooms don’t come with a mini fridge either. You have to open the windows in summer so you aren’t hot and then a lot of little flies come in. The area is great and the staff was great but it’s not worth the price. It’s a glorified hostel and for the price it isn’t worth it.

The room was spacious but the shower stall was very small, maybe about 50 cm x 50 cm. It was hard to take showers in there.

Room was just average. Very little space on one side - my preferred sleeping side. No tea or coffee machine and starting to look a little tired. Reception staff were very helpful on arrival and resolved an issue as room only had Swiss plug sockets and I was unable to use my europlug adaptors. Location is good being just a 5 minute walk from Interlaken West station and fine for getting to the most likely places a traveller would use.

The location of the hotel is in a great area, located in the heart of the city. Everything close by. The rooms on the other hand were tiny and the beds were uncomfortable.

Staff was amazing, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely recommend to others.

Hey hotel is in the perfect location in Interlaken. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to either train station. It’s in the center of town with plenty walkable dining options. When we arrived, they had trouble with the computer yet staff was very accommodating that our large group didn’t feel like we waited too long. Rooms were clean. Mattresses were medium firm and comfortable. The family rooms were perfect for a family of four giving space for the parents apart from the children in their loft.

Room was OK. Please be aware that European plugs won’t work in this room and you’ll need a Swiss charger - the hotel only leant us one and I had to go out and buy another. The front desk staff weren’t that friendly to be honest but also weren’t rude, so it’s fine. They had free tea at reception which was nice for my mum but would be ideal to have this in the rooms to save the trip downstairs in the mornings. The location is fantastic as it’s a short walk away from the station and in a lovely safe cute area. The beds were quite uncomfortable but nothing that unbearable.

It is conveniently located aprox. 10 min. walk from Interlakan West station. The area has quite a few wonderful restaurants and chocolate shops with skipping distance. Would stay here again.

The hotel with very clean room is easily reachable from Interlaken West station. It’s a mere 5-7mins stroll. It can also be reached via bus (#21) in less than 3mins. It can’t be missed as there is a colorful display of umbrellas outside the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Eateries are within reach in 5mins. A 10-12mins stroll will bring you to the tram ride up to Harder Kulm! We did not try the breakfast menu so we can’t comment but a good breakfast is easily reachable within 5mins walk! We will stay here again if we come back to Interlaken!

O hotel é muito próximo aos pontos turísticos, estação de trem , comércio. Café da manhã em um belíssimo salão, bem surtido e variado.
