I stayed for one night and was disappointed with several things. The building is quite old, and the washroom door wouldn’t close properly. Parking was very difficult to find, and the gym was poorly equipped—only one treadmill, which was out of order. Would not recommend unless improvements are made.

We stayed at the Travelodge in Kamloops with our grandchildren and had a great experience. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and our room was clean, private, and very comfortable. The location is also very convenient, it’s close enough to walk to a few restaurants, with a pharmacy right across the street. The highlight of our stay was definitely the continental breakfast. It was exceptional, well stocked, well cleaned, and offered plenty of options. We’d score high in that area! As for the pool, it was refreshing but not heated, which for me was a bit of a shock given it was 37° outside, though I’m sure some people might enjoy that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Property is a little run down but the room was fine. Bedding and decor could use an update but not terrible. The pool area is nice and clean but it’s not heated at all so expect to freeze! The gym has a decent weight set up to 30 lbs and a working elliptical but the tread was out of order. The website says there’s an indoor hot tub. There definitely is not. Overall a little disappointed because of the pool being unusable for more than 5 minutes unless you’re into long cold plunges. We haven’t checked out the breakfast yet so I cannot comment on that. It’s not like this place was “cheap” by any stretch so it would be nice to see a little more value for a family on a holiday. This has a motel feel and will do for a night passing through. The AC had a hard time keeping the room cool and we had it cranked on high at 65 all night. Be sure to request the 3rd floor so you don’t have noise above you!

I phoned 2 weeks before booking, was told there was pool and hot breakfast with eggs, sausage etc. the pool was closed for the season and only very slim continental breakfast. I def would have not booked for my family, and would have booked elsewhere.

Nice place to stay when visiting Kamloops. Facility is located in a convenient spot and staff was welcoming. The pool and fitness room were so-so and we opted to go to a public swim at a city pool instead. The breakfast was good.

Everything about the room was great besides the lack of cleanliness. You could tell the floors have not been properly cleaned in many months. Just looking at them they looked grimy. My nephew crawled on the floor as we were unpacking. And in less then 10 minutes his little hands, feets and knees were black and dirty and grimy. We mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and right away they came and quickly wiped down the main area. This didnt do anytbing as the floors really needed a DEEP clean. Despite the staff wiping the floors everything was just covered in dirt and grime. We were told its because its "considered an outdoor space" due to the room have a door leading to ourside. Again staff were responsive and friendly. But this room needs a VERY deep clean.

The staff was friendly. The pool and gym were clean. We had 4 rooms in our group. The rooms with hardwood floors, no one had sinus issues. The carpeted rooms should be upgraded. Stains on chairs.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place is genuinely one you should avoid. The room was over the top dirty. Dirt on light switches, hair in shower, streaks on walls. Ive never felt this dirty in a hotel room before. I wasn’t going to leave this review, but before checking out I stopped by the complimentary breakfast and poured a bowl of cereal. On the first bite I almost gagged as the skim milk had gone sour. Do not stay here even as a last option.

The only problem with the room is that it was noisy. The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything outside. It kept me up until late that night as there was boisterous conversations going on in the room next door.

The air conditioner was very loud. We had to turn it off and use only the fan at night which the room got very hot. The room looked very old and did not give the confidence that it was clean. The linen on the bed did not look very white. They looked old and the blanket was very thin and worn out. The drain in the bathtub did not drain away the water very quickly while taking a shower. Overall the room needs to be refreshed as it looked old and tired and the bedding should all be changed as it looked very thin and worn. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Booked a large king room with a hot tub. Kind of creepy and honeymoon like, but my choice as thought a massage tub would be nice after a ling day. Tried it last nigh and jets came on for literally 3 sec then off and would not come back in. Electrical switch was sketchy. Dissappointing but the rest if the room was fine despite birn out light bulbs in the bathroom vanity (3 of 4 out) but enough other lights to make it functional.

There was a large heat pump running directly below where our room was and it was noisy. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom sink smelled like mildew. The worst part was the front desk called our room at 830pm to see if we needed anything and it woke my 3yo up and we all slept terribly. They offered no apologies and we will never be staying there again

The front desk manager try to charge me an additional $75 31 minutes after we checked in. He told me it was my fault not his fault and I told him if I don’t get a refund, I will be calling the police and my credit card company. He finally refunded me an hour later. Definitely would not stay there again.

Staff was helpful and informative. Thought there would be a hot plate in the room but it was just a microwave and fridge. So much wasted cupboard space to hold nothing. No plates, glassware, cutlery. Upon check-in they gave us a keycard to our room. I unlocked the door and saw someone’s things inside indicating the room was clearly occupied. Went back, they apologized and gave us a new key and new room. As a young family this freaked me out knowing they gave keys to other people’s room. Accidental I’m sure, but extremely unprofessional, unorganized and unsafe. We had our lock on our room at all times afterwards.

Neighbors decided to wake up at 04:50h and let their children slam the door every time they came in and out plus playing in the hallway. I called front desk and they told me I should talk to the neighbors if I had an issue. We paid for a night of sleep and free breakfast and got neither. Expedia offered $20 in voucher for next visit...I told them where they could put their $20 joke.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. Reviews seemed hit or miss, so wasn't expected something amazing, but condition was great and the room was spotless. Of course the area can have some shady people walking around, but that isn't the hotels fault.

Every time someone else had a shower in adjoining rooms, it sounded like they were in my shower. There were so many industrial vehicles parked on the street in front of the hotel that when they started up at 5:00 a.m., beeping backing up, etc. it was hard to get back to sleep.

We were excited about the three queen beds in one room on the first floor as we have kids. I wish we were on third or second as it is close to two bars and there was drunk people walking up the stairs to there rooms at 2am. so loud. Not family oriented on weekends.breakfast was good but they still never fixed the walkway going in. I tripped on it almost 10 years ago when pregnant. Few owners ago claimed to fix it. Needed it for showers while our bathroom getting renovated.

The room was clean and comfortable. Good value for the price. The breakfast was terrible. I've had continental breakfasts with better selection. A bowl with cold hard boiled eggs, some muffins and whole apples/oranges. Not a big deal as we didn't pay extra for it but if it one of the reasons you are selecting this hotel I recommend you look elsewhere.

Breakfast was a disaster. Waffle machine defective. Try two times to make one. Muffins were dry. Had to leave without breakfast. Last two visits with Travelodge on my trip across Canada where much better.

This fit the bill quite nicely. I’d stay here again. The rate was fair and the rooms were spacious. No issues. The “continental breakfast” is more than continental with waffles toast bagels boiled eggs yogurt juices & coffee. Also your ChromeCast is a lovely addition for NetFlix viewing.
