We stayed at Wyndam in Kamloops BC & were delighted with what we found. SO much better than the one in Vancouver - lovely room & even a hot tub (clean!) & pool (clean!) & well-equipped small gym. Friendly & helpful staff. Well done Kamloops! We'd definitely stay there again! Hotel was also walking distance to close to "On the Rocks" - a rocking pub with Canadian-style comfort food. Share the poutine and/or nachos - the servings are huge!

This is a pretty well maintained property with a good staff. The rooms were pretty clean and maintained, the hotel is on a hill so you get a good view if you paid for a city view (which we did, it's pretty affordable anyways). Hotel has a swimming pool, hot hub, laundry machines, breakfast with pretty good options. There are also 2 types of EV charging options available (Tesla and non-Tesla plugs) of which I used, they are all FREE! Parking is also available underground so this is very convenient. Hotel was pretty clean, things appear to be in pretty good shape. Both staff members were very friendly, I actually requested if they can provide me coins for the laundry machine and bill that to my room but to my surprise the staff handed me the coins and told me not to worry about it, I thought that was good gesture. Great place to stay honestly!

Myself and two others shared a suite with kitchenette and full size fridge which was very convenient while we were in town for a softball tournament. Dining options around were fantastic and within walking distance and the shopping mall is just across the highway (10min walk or 3min drive). Having the choice to do your own coin laundry was super beneficial to us. We enjoyed the pool which is a little on the smaller side but good for a quick cool down on the hot days. The hot tub however could use an upgrade as there was only one jet that works properly. The free breakfast was ok with all the usual suspects. Service was always pleasant from staff. Will stay here again especially at that price point.

Our room was not cleaned very good. There was blood smeared in the bathroom. Could tell the dressers/nightstands hadnt been wiped down as there was sooo much dust. Didn't feel very clean. Pool was VERY cold.

I had high hopes for this hotel despite reading some reviews about cleanliness issues, noisy AC units, and poor service. I assumed those were one-off experiences, so I went ahead with my booking and made sure to request a quiet room with no AC issues. Unfortunately, my stay confirmed many of those concerns. Upon check-in, I found leftover food in the fridge, which was quite disgusting and clearly showed the room had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, the AC unit in the room made a constant high-pitched squealing noise that made it hard to sleep comfortably. The next morning, I had breakfast at the hotel and ended up with stomach cramps, which added to an already unpleasant experience. After checking out, I realized I had left my electric toothbrush behind. I called the front desk on August 2. The woman who answered seemed reluctant to help. She simply said nothing was found in lost and found and that the room was already occupied by another guest. I politely asked if she could check with housekeeping, but she refused and just repeated that nothing was found. I left a message for the hotel manager, who did call me back later, but the answer remained the same: nothing was found. Overall, for the price I paid, this stay was very disappointing. From cleanliness and AC noise to food safety and unhelpful staff, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or return in the future.

Unable to get into our room as there was a problem with door mechanism. Had to go back to front lobby and helpful front desk staff got us into adjacent room instead. VERY comfortable bed and overall room was comfortable. Odd hanging barndoor for bathroom didn’t offer enough privacy IMO. Pink mold prominent in lower half of shower grout was off putting. Possible this room hadn’t been properly prepared for guests and since our room didn’t work was a last minute issue? Location of hotel was still very convenient and after LONG day of driving you just want to go to bed sometimes.

Very nice hotel. Quick, easy check in and out. Beds comfy, nice large shower. Bathroom lighting a bit too dim but otherwise room was fine. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options including waffles, bacon, omelets and other cold options.

Went to the front desk to get more towels etc and mentioned to them again that we would like maid service going forward. They did maid service the next morning.

Nothing unique except that you have to ask for housekeeping to make up your room. Weird! Never had that before. Asked for more facecloths. They didn’t have any. Couldn’t get back on the elevator the second night of stay. They only programmed our room cards for the first night of stay ?? Asked for another set of clean towels the second night but there was no one on staff that could bring them to our room. We had to go down and get them ourselves. Probably won’t stay here again.

They went above and beyond by upgrading our room, which made our visit even more comfortable. The room was spotless, modern, and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. We especially appreciated the secure underground parking with gated access, which added an extra layer of peace of mind. A major bonus was the availability of a Tesla charger in the basement parking area — very convenient for EV drivers. The beds and pillows were amazing. But the person at the front desk at night time lacks basic human interaction skills. I say this because I forgot what time the breakfast started. I called down around 1130 pm, and asked kindly what time breakfast was. She said 7 Am start. I said thank you, she hung up on me without saying you’re welcome, or have a good night, NOTHING. Other than that interaction, the hotel itself is nice.

Passing through so stayed here for tue night. The price was very reasonable, king bed which was so comfortable that I had a hard time getting out of it the next morning, clean, quiet and a great location. A short walk to Starbucks, restaurants and the Aberdeen Mall which has a great grocery store. They also have a pool and hot tub which we did not use. Kenna Cartwright park is a short drive which offers multiple trails that were quite inviting after a long drive. Well rested and ready to go the next morning.

Everything was good besides the breakfast, the turkey bacon tasted like plastic I would of rather had real bacon, sausages were dry and eggs were rubber, tried a bagel and they were semi stale and took 10 mins to toast it. Also had a dog with as I do appreciate a pet friendly hotel, there was no where to take her to use the bathroom, all cement and rocks on property

Stayed here for 1 night on our trip From Seattle to Banff. Plenty of parking with a parking lot underground. The room was big enough and exactly how you'd expect. Biggest highlight was the breakfast. Fantastic choice with plenty of options.
