The staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel is very conveniently located right accross the road from Kyoto Station. The room was normal size for a Japanese room so no complaints. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The location is excellent. Room is large and the cleaning service is good. Receptionist is great but they need long time to check in via your check in machine. Finally, we are guided to the front dest to finish our check in procedure.

This hotel is huge, and a nightmare because of all the tourist groups and their million suitcases that crowd the lobby. There are warning about "congestion at breakfast", so i had my coffee somewhere else .. The location was not very convenient, it's only good if your train arrives on that side of the station. Otherwise it is a long long walk just to get to any bus or subway. The staff was incredibly helpful and did the best they could given the horrifying tour groups crowd. Rooms are small but ok. No public baths. It is a 3 star hotel, not 4
