Very quick and easy check-in, lobby and restaurant are very nice. A little dated and tired upstairs but not unpleasant. The room was quite small but the bed was comfortable, lots of channels on the TV and the shower worked well. Breakfast was fine, buffet with a lot of options. Only real negatives were an excessive car parking fee and other guests being noisy in the morning, slamming doors and shouting down corridors. You will get woken up before 7am if you stay here.

There is nothing special about this airport hotel, I had to change rooms because of a double booking, the second room did not have a refrigerator and I had bought some food earlier before the room change. There was misinformation about the Hoppa bus as it does not stop at this hotel. Some staff was nice but overall nothing special and I don't recommend unless you just want to crash for a quick stay overnight.

The London Heathrow Airport's Hoppa bus no longer services this hotel, so we had to Uber from the airport. However, our Uber ride cost less than the Hoppa Bus. The room was extremely small as you could touch the walls from either side of the bed. The condition of the bathroom was old and dingy and the grout in the floor tile was black in areas. The room appears to need an update. There are no real restaurants nearby, except within various hotels or there is a McDonald's, about half a mile away.

The reception area, bar etc where in very good order but once in the corridor leading to the bedrooms it was all very tired. The carpet needed replacing and it all needs decorating

The room is very dingy. Bathroom is so gross. We had an “executive suite…” which id hate to see what anything lower than that would be. Only one elevator worked so most people were using the stairs. Staff was nice though. Glad we were only staying there for one night.

Check in was late for half hour. Rooms didn’t clean on the second day; no fresh towels for all 3 rooms; garbage were still in the rooms; no clean cups to use. Very unimpressive. From desk/reception staff didn’t do anything except to provide towels and reason given was housekeeping staff went home.

The property is a shambles. No hot water for 2 days and no maintenance people. Waiting for my refund as agreed and no word from either hotels.com nor the hotel. Their main phone doesn’t work. The ice machine didn’t work. The housekeeping staff didn’t clean the room. Lost several hours of my stay in London waiting for staff to advise me of what they could do. Nothing. Not on the hoppa route. Seriously so many options in the area. Would have thought better of a best western

Pretty dirty and smelly. The service was good but the room was not clean, lots of stains, hair in the bathroom, and smell in the room. The toilet had a hard time flushing as well and the shower wasn’t great.

The foyer area was bright and airy, as was the adjacent restaurant. Both looked modern and clean. The reception staff were helpful, courteous and polite, as were the staff in the restaurant. However the carpets on the floor of my room looked tired. I would say the same about my room, which looked and felt like a hotel room from the 80’s. It was though clean and the bed was comfortable. I eat dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and thought the food was fairly good. The hotel is close to the airport and met my requirements, which was a comfortable and clean room for one night before flying the next day, and at a reasonable price. In this respect I would say the hotel was adequate. If the rooms were refurbished, it would make a big difference.

Good value, perfect location for an early Heathrow flight. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a very nice indian meal at the hotel restaurant. Comfy bed and room, noisy when window open - to be expected with proximity to airport. Not a problem with window closed (air con).

Property is ok if desperately in need of a refresh. Low rating because aircon in room not working on hottest day of year in uk. We discovered this on returning to our room after midnight having departed imediately oncheck in. Desk clerk advised us that we coupd switch to anothe best western nearby but at this point it was too late to move. They should have advised us of this at check in as it was clear at that time the glhotel was having aircon problems, with water dripping from lobby ceiling into a bucket on the floor.

I paid for three hotel rooms and when we arrived the rooms were not available. The receptionist smirked at me and informed me that they always overbook the hotel and this happens all the time. The staff were unfriendly and rude and offered no apologies. After SIX WEEKS and a LOT of emails with the manager I have still not received a complete refund (they refunded me 70% of the booking after making me wait a month and sending me lots of lying emails) nor have I had an apology - avoid this hotel like the plague, it is an absolute joke. There are lots of perfectly decent hotels in the area, save yourself the hassle and do not stay in this dated, unfriendly hellhole.

If i could give it a 20 i would. I booked this hotel for my mom and they were nothing but friendly and helpful. All the staff were so friendly and polite to my mom. When i couldn't reach my mom because she forgot her charger at home, i called the receptionist. They were able to go to my mom's room and tell her how worried i was, before they proceeded to help her charge her phone. My mom was having issues with getting her whatsapp to work. The receptionist at another time went out of their way and ensure she reached me. Another time, my mom needed help printing out her flight ticket, they went ahead to help my mom print it out. They made sure she was comfortable. And when it was time to go my mom needed to wake up at 0300 and didn't know how to set the alarm on her phone. My mom told me they called and knocked on the door making sure she was up. They also arranged a taxi to get her to the airport. My mom spoke highly of the place and one of her favorite things was the array of breakfast buffet they had on display every morning. She would tell me how the housekeepers came everyday, regular as clockwork to clean her room. To the staffs that went above and beyond to help my mom, I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Dear Sirs, I will say this about my experience regarding my stay at Ariel Best Western Hotel. The main staff in charge of making my stay enjoyable their names being (Pritum) and then (Jose) let me down catastrophically. I left by accident my expensive eye glass and its case holder in my room number (344) I was assured by both Pritum and Jose that they would call me back to let me know at least what had happened to it. I must have called your telephone number over 200 times to get hold of someone to give me some update but the answer machine was the only person I would ever communicate with. They have treated me so badly like I never even existed that I would never ever give a good review. 5 days later after my stay at your hotel and I am still waiting to hear from you and for a simple reply from yourselves. Absolutely Disgraceful behaviour I have to say. Thank You.

Check in was a problem and not handled well. Upon arriving I was accused of booking a single room, told I can see the email and I would have to pay an additional £15. It was not until I found my booking email that the booking was corrected. Makes you wonder if that is a scam. Bed was comfortable but the hotel is old and tired fine for the price but don’t expect much. Also factor in £60 to get from and to the hotel, it’s not walking distance

Best western stay I’m very disappointed with this stay. From booking to actually staying here it’s been a nightmare. When booking I put in a special request for 2 cot beds as have two very young girls. No reply. Over the course of the week I have attempted to call the hotel reception 30-40 times and each time it has rang and hung up. I turn up to the hotel with tired children and surprise, no cot bed. Told the staff I attempted to call from 8:30am till now around 10 times with no answer. Was told thry are with a guest but I don’t believe it. I had to wait 20-25 mins for a for bed. This was brought up to my room and left (not built and no bed sheets). Was told the second one was on its way. After 15 mins and nothing I go down to reception to be told I have to wait another 25 mins. Bare in mine I have 2 children who need to get to sleep and I need to wait for staff to bring this. After another 15 mins staff come up and tell me they have lost the cot bed. Utterly disgraceful from the hotel of this brand, the staff not good enough either. I would like a full refund for this stay as I am not happy one bit with this hotel. Regards Oliver jones

As an inexpensive hotel in close geographic proximity to the airport, this Best Western's fine. The problem is that getting from the airport to the hotel's incredibly complicated and difficult, and the hotel did nothing to give me information before the trip. It turns out that there's no simple shuttle running every few minutes, there's a paid bus with a limited schedule. If I'd known beforehand, I could've planned accordingly or even just pulled pounds out of an ATM and gotten a taxi, but I never received any information or instructions before my trip. Airport staff tried to help but had limited/contradictory information. I took the subway from Heathrow to the West Side in my '22 trip in less time than it took me to get 2-3 miles from airport to this hotel after arriving a little before 21:00 on 11/1/'24. Also, breakfast doesn't start until 7:00 (at least on Sunday I departed), which seems weird for an airport hotel.

Very useful stopover for Purple Patking drop off for Heathrow. Perfect stop after a long flight before a long drive. Excellent staff. £15 for overnight parking. Our bathroom door was warped and didn’t close properly but other than that all was good. Breakfast starts at 6.30am too and was plentiful and included

Is good hotel for money. Lots of regular buses outside hotel for Heathrow central ,maybe 15 minutes journey and cheap . Only downside was breakfast : sad ,limited ,lukewarm and not really worth the money .but help your self coffee machine was good . McDonald's 5 minutes walk

A really nice stay except for being woken up very early by housekeeping entering the room. Scared us both to death as we were still asleep and then couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards. Apart from that everything was good and the breakfast was superb, such choice! Perfect start to the day ahead
