The property was nice and the room was good. Our only complaint would be the A/C. There was one in the room but it didn’t cool the room enough for us. We opened the windows and it was fine. Very close to old town and there was parking (for $) on the premises.

Hotel had a great location, 5 min walk from main train station, also had a paid parking 22chf per night, rooms were clean, and had coffee, tea, and a mini bar with water and sodas all Included in the price of the room, but the star of the show was for sure the Bolero restaurant, inside the hotel! Fantastic Spanish food! We had dinner there, and I’m dying ti go back to try their Paella… I rarely take time to write a review, but this deserves to be said: the service was excellent, all dishes we tried were amazing! Breakfast was also really good!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was so helpful and there was an entrance to the station/ platforms only few minutes away from the hotel. Our room had a view of Mt. Pilatus and had everything we needed except a kettle to boil water. We also felt that the room was a little bit smaller than we expected. Otherwise, we really liked the convenient location and great breakfast and the spanish dinner at their restaurant.

The rooms are very good. The property is an easy walk from the train station and also an easy walk to old town and the Chapel bridge. I wouldn’t say it’s in the middle of everything, but it’s very easy to get to everything from there. And the restaurant in the hotel is really good.

A comfortable and conveniently located hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Only downside there was no residents lounge / bar to relax in at the end of a busy day. Would definitely recommend and revisit in the future.

We tried two different rooms because we extended our booking. Both rooms were spotless and quiet. Everything was modern and in good repair. If you want Old World charm, this is the wrong hotel for you, because it looks like it was remodeled yesterday by a perfectionist. The smaller room was...small. Not a shoebox, but on the tight side. The larger room was considerably more comfortable, and it had a tub. If you're staying in Lucerne for more than a couple of days, I would recommend going for a bigger room. Either way, it won't be cheap, so you might as well enjoy yourself. The curtains were really something. When we woke up, we couldn't tell whether it was day or night. The staff was extremely professional. No issues at all. They could not have been better. I didn't see any sign of a gym. If there is one, they hid it pretty well. Walking to the river and sights is not difficult. I recommend it over buses and cabs. Personally, I would try to find an older hotel in a more interesting neighborhood next time, but that's just me. Your stay at the Cascada will be trouble-free.

This is an exception property all around! Houseyn and Liu (pardon my spelling) at the front desk were so lovely and helpful with our tour to Mount Pilatus, as well as making sure our 4 year old son Adrian was happy. (He loved his toy, kids keycard, and chocolates!) At the restaurant, Alessandro was a legend and the food soooooo good! Like traveling to Spain without the train ride. Will definitely return!

The parking spot was super convenient but you have to pay Easy walk to the chapel bridge and Altstadt Included beer in the room we got! Also nice glass water bottle and water refill station in the lobby was really nice Fun little touches in the room and nice design

Wow, it's not often a hotel blows me away with service and small touches, but Cascada certainly have. The room was gorgeous, smelled amazing, clean, high quality. The toilet's bad a built in bidet! Lots of small storage space. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! No joke, this is probably the second best hotel breakfast (out of the 30 of so I've had in my life). With such a perfect hotel there are a few little quibbles that stand out, though nothing major at all. - There is no ramp at the entrance so suitcases need to be lifted up the 2 steps (no issue for us, but I can see my parents struggling to do this) - The carpet in the 6th floor in the hallways looks a bit scruffed and dingy - The rooms are a bit small, but we knew this going in, though it could be a bit cramped for some people if they're not aware. - No USB charger outlets in the room (fortunately the hotel staff downstairs had Swiss to UK converters) - Only free Toblerone chocolates on the first day, we thought after room service the next day we'd get some more free mini Toblerones, but sadly we didn't (most minor thing I know haha) - No menu for the wonderful Bolera menu downstairs (might be because it changes and is seasonal, but I think some more info on it could have been nice)

This is a fantastic hotel. Every staff person we met there was the nicest person and super helpful. The rooms were very clean with great towels that they wash in eco-hyper allergenic detergent. This place is convenient to the train station. Highly recommended!

Clean, remodeled, excellent plumbing and lighting details, very good bathrooms, shower was fantastic. Sheets and towels were well laundered and presented. Check-in was very easy and it was clear they were ready for all 6 of us, with the suite opened up and all beds made ready with a special touch. Hotel is very walkable to train station. Would absolutely stay here again and again.

Have stayed at the Cascada hotel a few times before and it has always been wonderful. This last time, I was assigned the one person room at the top floor and it was not as great: Room has an inclined roof for being in the top floor that makes half the room not walkable. Night stand on the side of the bed by the incline, so you can only get to it by rolling on the bed. Shower as small as I've seen them but ok. The toilet though, is crammed between the shower and the wall, and is almost unusable for anyone over 1.80m high. The hotel has other 1 person rooms that are as small but way more comfortable. My advise: if travelling alone, avoid the 1 person room in the top floor. Other than than, nice hotel and highly recommendable.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are little smaller than expected but manageable. The staff is excellent. The only issue was the noise from trains as the tracks are right next to the hotel. You have to close the windows to reduce the noise.

Very courteous service and clean hotel, good location too. The only negative was that the bathroom had a frosted glass wall between the shower and the sleeping area, so when someone went in the bathroom at night and turned on the light, it lit up the entire room. You couldn't see much through the frosted glass, but just felt kind of odd showering with a glass wall between you and the room where other people are.

The rooms are incredibly small. I was not impressed with the staff. Parking was a hassle. Although not indicated during the booking process, you must reserve parking. They also did not indicate they needed the card for the parking garage returned when we checked out and we had to drive back 45 minutes to return the card. I would not recommend this hotel.

The property was nice and the staff was wonderful. Nice restaurant on property. Convenient to train station and historic sites. However, the small rooms were not configured for luggage and the temperature is automatically controlled by the outdoor temp, making it very warm in the room on a cooler day.

Great location and helpful staff. Decent price for what it is. The room was not great. The mattress was hard with no back support, and the pillows weren't great either. You can't turn the A/C on in April, apparently, so we had to just leave the window open to get ventilation. The shower layout makes no sense and results in the whole bathroom floor being covered in water. You also can't change the TV language to something other than German and when you tell it to put on subtitles in English it displays them in German.

Only 2 blocks walking distance from the train station. Very nice boutique hotel with spacious accommodations. We were 4 friends and had a big 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with balconies making it spacious for all our luggage. Top notch staff. Two of my friends left 2 items behind and hotel called us after check out and even mailed the items to our upcoming destination and it was there when we arrived. Amazing! I would give more stars if available. And to top it off… didn’t charge us anything for this. Would definitely recommend

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was excellent. The service was top-notch and most of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces – they truly made us feel welcome and well taken care of. However, I must point out a disappointing experience with one staff member, Erwin. Unfortunately, his attitude stood out in contrast to the otherwise outstanding team. When I arrived with four large suitcases in my car, I asked if I could briefly park outside the hotel just to unload my luggage. Erwin firmly refused and told me I had to park in the basement of the building across the street, which has no lift. I had to drag all four bags up a slope and across to the hotel myself. What made it worse was that when I entered the lobby clearly struggling, he saw me but made no effort to assist. Additionally, during check-in, Erwin failed to mention that items in the minibar were complimentary, which I found out later. It felt as though he was intentionally withholding that information, which left a negative impression. Aside from this, the rest of the stay was truly enjoyable. The other staff members were amazing – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s a shame that one individual’s behavior affected an otherwise perfect stay.

I have to give a shout out to the staff, especially the reception (Elena who was so incredibly helpful) and the man with the long black wavy hair (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten). I know his family is from Turkey. They were wonderful, helpful and professional!

Our room overlooked many train tracks and was very loud and noisy until midnight every day. The Cascada Hotel is situated in a dirty and derelict rundown area of town. The included breakfast offerings each morning were inconsistent, as was the very unpredictable unprofessional service at the hotel breakfast restaurant. This is not a four star hotel in any way shape or form.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the hotel does not have any guest bar or lounge where residents can spend time or enjoy drinks etc. The breakfast was not acceptable. Food was bought out in very small quantities and infrequently that you had to wait too long to get anything. Hot breakfast items had to be ordered and again too long time was taken to bring them out and the quantities on the plate were sparce .
