Friendly service at checkin. Very informative and helpful. Room attendants were happy and accommodating as well. The attached restaurant offered delicious italian cuisine. The hotel was in a great location; off the main road and close to old town and the train station. We will choose this location again on our next Lucerne trip.

Great little property in a great area. SUPER close to the bus station as well if that is key for you. Breakfast was great in the morning. Restaurant was nice for dinner, but food was just ok. Overall, a very good hotel to stay at.

Great location for this hotel. Very close to the river and Chapel Bridge. The old town was gorgeous and full of shops and restaurants. There was a very nice restaurant and bar at the hotel also. The parking is shared with other street hotels and shops. Spots were very tight to get into. The hotel validated our ticket for our one night stay’s parking fee.

PARKING BEWARE! They say “parking available” but it’s a small public garage next door and there were only 8 spots left. The hotel is lovely, great condition and in the heart of everything. Ask for a room away from the street for quiet.

It is ok for the price. The staff were ok, not super friendly or helpful/welcoming. It just felt like a mediocre stay, for a very steep price. We knew Switzerland was expensive, but this felt like they just weren’t trying. Scuffs/stains/marks all over the walls, very desolate feeling in the hallways…it felt like a budget hotel when stepping off the elevator and walking to our room. Grout was dirty in our bathroom. More dirty walls/doors. That being said…the bed was comfortable, the bedding felt/looked clean. It was very dim in the bathroom. Just kind of disappointing for the price and in comparison to our other stays around Europe this trip. Pros: super easy to walk from the train station, very close to Chapel Bridge and most anything you want to enjoy while in Lucerne.

Overall experience was okay. The room is older than it looks on the photos that they posted. Washroom is old and kind of dirty. Overall experience is not as good as expected. Staffs are descent but not as welcoming when we first arrived.

Aunque la marca es de renombre, el hotel es remodelado obviamente por ser un edificio viejo. Para mi punto de vista, los cuartos son muy pequeños. La limpieza no es muy buena, se ve que limpian las habitaciones solo por encima, o lo que se ve. Por ejemplo, los muros, controles de la tele, la caja fuerte, el refrigerador, tenían bastante polvo como seco, y manchas como de líquidos duros. Las ventanas son de madera vieja. El baño se veía limpio pero no extensivamente. Lo que tiene de bueno el hotel, es que esta a 2 minutos del puente de la capilla y el centro. La estación de tren queda a 5 minutos a pie. El desayuno buffet no ofrece mucho, por lo que yo solo lo utilice el primer dia y opte por no comprarlo el segundo. Sin embargo, el restaurante BaCio de Mamma, es muy buena la comida (comer) y el ambiente. Se ve que mucha gente que no es huésped come ahi. Tiene muy buen ambiente y el sabor, la calidad y cantidad de los alimentos y bebidas es de primera. Sin duda el plus del hotel, es el restaurante y la ubicación, mas no la estancia como tal si lo que para ti importa es la limpieza y la amplitud. El personal si es muy amable.

The room was immaculate with a lot of attention to little but useful things such as magnifying mirror in the toilet and other mirrors outside. The coffee in the room was so delicious. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a central location very close to everything.

The location is great. The hotel is modern and comfortable. It's very pricey, but you get some perks such as the items in the mini-bar are included. Our only real problem with it was that the bathroom had apparently not been cleaned thoroughly. We found a contact lens on the floor, which made us wonder what else had not been cleaned.

Excellent location near train station and old city. However poor air conditioning with what seemed like only the fan function on in the room. It was cooler outside than in the room which was warm for summer. The shower had poor flow and poor temp control and height adjustment so had to bend a little to take a shower. WiFi inconsistent and lagged. Small rooms but adequate for two, Breakfast selection small and poor value for the cost. Will not stay here again.

Excellent location, just a half block to the chapel bridge. Super easy parking right next to the hotel as they have an arrangement with the garage and not too expensive, around 27 CHF for 24 hrs. Beautiful breakfast. Can walk to everything in Luzern. Rooms clean, although can't control the thermostat settings, but was comfortable. Has A/C too if hot

The wifi signal was not strong enough to reach my room - the connection would drop in and out on my phone, and wouldn't connect to my laptop at all. In the end, I had to do work in the lobby which was not ideal. The staff were unable to move me into another room as they were fully booked. They did compensate me with a free breakfast and 2 complimentary drinks. But for a 4-star hotel, I expected better.

This was properly the worse customer service while travelling ever. Upon check in we realized that we had forgotten to add our one year old to the room. The staff who greeted us was not friendly, did not smile once, and sounded like she hated her job. She told us that the room we had was too small for a crib, and there were no other rooms available. We asked if we could move some stuff around the room to make room for a crib since our daughter has never shared a bed with us before, and she said no. When we arrived at our room, yes, it was small but there was definitely room for a crib if we moved the coffee table and chair aside. We asked one of the housekeeper who happened to be cleaning on our floor and she was so so friendly and immediately got us a crib. It’s disappointing that the girl who helped us with our check in was unhelpful, had no empathy, and really just seemed to not care or want to help. If you hate your job, please find a different one.

After flying 11 hours, being on a train for almost 2 hours, and walking to the hotel, we get to the front desk around 7pm and tell us they overbooked and dont have any rooms left. There was no communication of this prior to that. So they booked us a different hotel we will have to walk another 15 minutes to. Supposedly the woman who told us this was the supervisor and admitted to being nervous telling us this. We did not say much at all, just accepted the unfortunate situation as we were exhausted. Ive never had an experience like this at a hotel before and also feel like they did not show much sympathy to our situation. Very disappointed

Check in went very well. The hostess, who checked us in was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were small, but nice. Where the stay fell short was when my wife asked very kindly for a staff member to warm a small gluten free item in their kitchen microwave for about a minute due to my daughter‘s celiac disease. The front desk lady gave us quite a bit of pushback with attitude. With quite a bit of persistence, my wife was able to have her warm the small item.

The property was very clean, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The only notable downside was that the air conditioning did not function optimally. Additionally, there were occasional instances of loud individuals who were intoxicated and were congregating outside due to the presence of a nearby nightclub. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, as we only encountered the “loud” individuals on one night out of the several days we were there.

Excellent location in Old Town!! Very close to the Chapel Bridge, lots of restaurants, the train station, and Lake Lucerne. We stayed there for 5 nights and took a few day trips, so it was great to be within walking distance of the train station. The hotel was really nice and clean, and the staff were helpful.

A wonderful experience for this American and her daughter. The service was great, accommodating our arrival ahead of schedule while offering free beverages in the room during our stay. There was a restaurant in the hotel which offered a breakfast as well as dinner. The location was within walking distance from the train station. We were also located within walking distance of the old town, the bridges, and all the shopping we could manage during our two day stay.

Beautiful room on top floor. No view of note from the balcony/windows, sadly, but hotel very conveniently located close to the station, the river/lake, covered bridges, and other major landmarks. Easy to explore by foot from the hotel. Restaurant was disappointing inasmuch as we struggled to understand the options on the menu. Staff just directed us to a QR code for English version of menu, but that wasn't easy to decipher or use and staff didn't provide additional assistance. Food decent though. Plenty of choice offered at breakfast. Had a pleasant stay!

We stayed two nights at the Ameron Luzern Hotel Flora. It was a clean modern property and an easy walk to the train station and a walk over the bridge to Old Town Lucerne. It had an excellent breakfast with a good variety.

Location was great for our 2 night stay in Luzern. 5 min walk from the train station. The breakfast food and staff at Bacio restaurant onsite could be greatly improved. We were asked to move seats at 9am on Sunday so they could set up the afternoon service (brunch was listed to last until 11am). Sadly all the hot food was lukewarm/cold as well.

Loved the Petite Chef dinner experience. Also enjoyed the room with a balcony and the breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel was staffed with caring people who made our stay the best!
