“The Ameron Hotel in Lucerne was an excellent choice and somewhere I would happily stay again. The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the centre of town, within easy walking distance of the lake, old town, restaurants, shops, and the railway station, making it ideal for exploring Lucerne. Despite being relatively modern, the hotel has plenty of character and a stylish contemporary design that feels warm and welcoming rather than corporate. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful, always happy to offer recommendations or assistance. The room itself was spacious, very well designed, and immaculately clean, with lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay feel comfortable and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well equipped, and the overall attention to detail was impressive. The hotel also felt very quiet and peaceful despite its central location. Overall, the Ameron combines great service, modern comfort, and an unbeatable location, making it a superb base for a stay in Lucerne.”

This hotel is in a fantastic location and set in a beautiful, historic villa, which adds to its' overall charm. Our first-floor room was quite spacious, though it overlooked an alley and was noisy early in the morning due to kitchen staff. The service was a highlight of our stay. The front desk staff, breakfast staff, housekeeping, and porters were all excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. While the property itself is lovely, the spa amenities were a bit disappointing, as they felt dated and could use some updating. Although we didn’t dine in the restaurant for a full meal, we did enjoy coffee and dessert in the bar, which was a wonderful experience. One of the best features is the hotel’s private boat dock, which made arrival by water taxi seamless and convenient. They also offer a complimentary boat to Murano, along with access to the original Murano glass factory (located right in Venice), where we were able to watch a master glassblower demonstration—such a unique experience. Breakfast was included and very good, with plenty of options. We especially appreciated that they prepared a to-go breakfast for us when we had to leave early at 6 a.m. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially for its service, location, and unique amenities.
