Location is good, 10 mins walk from train station and the city center. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Checked in early without extra fee. Breakfast is included, it is simple and good. Restaurant is on site, if you walk few minutes, then you can find more dining options.

location was good...parking was terrible...40 euros??

There was street and road construction so it was difficult to access. It was an older hotel that was clean and had a good breakfast and nice staff. Close to the old town. Offered parking for a charge.

Hotel is literally 200 metres away from Chapel Bridge. Regarding parking the hotel has a very practical solution. You either park in one of the parking lots nearby; or find a paid parking spot on the streets and tell the hotel reception where you have parked with a photo of your car, and they will register your car for a daily rate of CHF17 per 24 hrs for up to 48 hrs in one continuous booking. Believe me this is the best deal you can find in Lucern. They are very helpful.

Access available 24/7 late arrival allowed by arrangement, night porter attends , lift to all floors, very comfortable and clean, staff attentive excellent breakfasts travel pass for city,convenient for SBB and shopping and restaurants. Major refurbishment immediately prior to covid so all is pristine.

Great location and very helpful staff. Disappointed that restaurant was not open on the day of our arrival. Also feel that the tiny elevator is simply inadequate for a hotel that clearly takes a lot of groups who all come and go at the same time.

Our family walked to hotel from train station easily and the location was good. They have an amazing restaurant on property and staff was very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and good selection. I would go back again.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom was modern and very nice. Staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. The breakfast dining was beyond expectations! Overall a very very nice hotel. I loved. Seriously.

I felt utterly humiliated by one of the staff at the breakfast hall. I had a plate of food in my hand while in the buffet area, and out of all the guests, she asked me what my room number was- as if I was not a guest in the hotel. Mind you this was day 2 of our stay and NO ONE asked us for a room number on day 1. She did NOT ask any of the other guests that were milling in, only me. I later confronted her and just politely asked why I was the only one she asked. She lied to my face and said she was asking everyone. I literally watched her after she asked me and I noticed a few people come and go but she did NOT ask them. She then pretended to ask 1 or 2 people because she now knew she had my attention. Lana, if you are reading this, learn tact and be respectful and treat everyone equally. Thomas if you are reading this, as I suggested, if that is your so called policy, then be consistent and check ALL guests at the door or have people sign a sheet as soon as they walk in. It's not good form to ask people while getting food. I don't know where you received management training but I felt singled out as if I was a thief. Meanwhile, I had 2 rooms and a parking space for 2 nights under my name. With regards to the food, I'm not sure if the reviews here are actually real reviews, the friuit was not fresh, the coffee was bland, and the selection was quite drab. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel. Here is a pic of a mosquito in the bathroom that bit us all night.

Very handy for walking through Lucerne, and good selection for breakfast in the morning. Room was pretty spacious although on the dark side with small windows and the decor slightly outdated (but clean so no issues there, just an observation). There were signs noting upgrades were being made but we didn’t notice any disturbance/ noise. Only downside for us Silas the shower had a tendency to switch randomly from hot to cold which wasn’t great.

This hotel was clean and nice. It offers A/C but the A/C was very weak and our room was very warm. We did like the location because it was a nice and easy walk to old town. The receptionist was very polite and had to come make our third bed because housekeeping forgot to. She offered us a free drink for the inconvenience which was very nice.

The hotel is not modern, it has a 60s/70s vibe. Which may not be to everyone’s taste. Room was pretty basic, but comfortable and clean. Staff were nice, free breakfast was a great surprise! We liked the area, really quiet. Enjoyed our stay

The shower had great water pressure, temperature was easy to control and it was spacious! Our room was on the top floor with dormers so plenty of architectural interest. We could open a window in the bedroom and one in the bathroom which provided a cool breeze all night——delightful! The breakfast was extensive, fresh, constantly replenished and served in a large windowed room. Staff was happily helpful and the location was walkable to all points of interest.

In general everything was good, but had no Internet in the room during my stay. Went to the receptionist and they could not fix the problem. First time I stay in a Hotel in Europe with no Internet.

Propery has AC, which was great!! Location and staff were excellent. Breakfast was decent. Room was top floor so we had roof rafters which made you have to duck not to hit your head. Didnt like that too much. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

The facility was great except the walls are so thin. I was constantly woken by the neighboring room. The walls are so thin that you can hear conversations next door, phone calls and alarms. I slept a total of 2 hours last night because my neighboring room came in past midnight and had a lengthy conversation. Their phone rang at 2 am and again at 3 am. And their alarm rang for 30 minutes from 5:30 am. I was very disappointed by my experience especially because it was my first time visiting Lucerne.

From what I understand this is a family run hotel. It's in a pretty good location although there isn't a lot right around it. You have to walk a block or two to get to a bakery or restaurant (excluding the more formal one next door). Still, the location is very good for getting to the train station, Old Town, etc. The room was spacious and clean with a good bathroom, nice steady hot water supply, and good AC. But the Wifi was spotty, there was no fridge (which we could have used), and no lotions in the bathroom. While the beds were comfortable, I found the bedding too short for my liking (I often found my feet exposed during the night). The staff were really nice and helpful, especially when we ordered Uber eats one night and they forgot to include the cutlery. The hotel is still using a physical key versus a card for door access/locking which is clunky and outdated. For the shower, the glass partition design made it impossible not to get water on the floor. The included breakfast was good, but limited.

Das Zimmer war schlicht eingerichtet. Leider sehr ringhörig. Dusche resp. Badewanne zum duschen ziemlich eng. Bett ist bequem, nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Frühstücks Buffet hatte eine gute Auswahl und war lecker. Alles in allem war Preis / Leistung gut.

Staff was super friendly and made great recommendations for dinner and went over maps to get around the city and see the sites.

From check in to check out we had friendly staff help us out, Nathalie in particular was wonderful. Our room was just what we needed and we loved our view. The breakfast was delicious and regularly tended to and refilled. I definitely recommend as Lucerne is very expensive!

The hotel was a good location... only 5 minutes walk from the main spot in town. The main reason for 5 stars is the staff though - we stay in lots of hotels but the staff here are really the best. So helpful.

The gentleman who checked us in on Sunday evening was very helpful and showed us where the bus stop was to the train station and gave us the free transport tickets.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon. Overall our stay was nice, but the hotel could definitely use some cosmetic updates. The bed was the only thing that was up to date. Everything else was like it was out of an 80s sitcom. And for two adults and two pieces of luggage, it was very cramped. We had to take turns opening our luggage to get things from it. Plus, the location was far removed from other attractions that we had hoped to be near in Lucerne. While this allowed for some peace and quiet at night, it made it difficult in terms of getting luggage to and from the train station or bus stops. Additionally, food options were limited in this area past 8:30 at night. So we had to walk 15 minutes each way to get to the main station area and get food. Overall, we would have opted to stay elsewhere in the city to be closer to attractions, transportation, shops, & restaurants. But it was a clean room and comfy bed for the night.

Overall, we had a very good stay. Though the times is a bit dated, it was ver clean and comfortable. Location was great. Less than 10 minute walk the Chapel bridge and the train/bus station. Included in our room cost was breakfast, a nice buffet with lots of variety. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location was within walking distance to the main bridge but was on a quite and lonely street with not much food options.

Great location, easy walk from the railway station and close to everything. In a residential area, quiet location. Great room on the top floor with a view over the neighbouring houses. Good breakfast included with ok selection. Would stay again

Friendly team, great breakfast and clean modern room. Convenient location an easy walk from the railway station, restaurants, shops and the river. I didn’t get to try it but my friends tell me the associated resturant is very special and the bar across the road if cool. I’ll be back.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area away from the tourists but still walking distance to the center and train station. Convenient bus service nearby is also available. Wonderful breakfast buffet.

Great location and able, helpful staff. The rooms and facilities accurately reflect the 3 star rating. Being able to open the window is always a plus to me. The breakfast needs improving, for example some fresh fruit and properly cooked bacon.

This is an old hotel that aspires to be vintage and classical, but in reality comes off as old and and updated. Pillows were terrible and bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was bad; cold food and limited options with bees sitting in all the jam. Would not stay here again.
