Hotel was perfect very close to the center of Mexico City. The breakfast every morning had good options. The tour that was provided was excellent with a lot of information. That 24 hour snack bar is incredible considering what they offer. Staff was very friendly and attentive to all of our needs and questions.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. They were very welcoming. They did have valley parking and it was free. The location was very convenient. Very close catty corner almost to the historical center. The tour was amazing. We had the best tour guide very informational and we wish we would’ve took advantage of this on our first day instead of our last gave us so many other places that we should’ve went to see. The hotel is immaculate. The drinks at the front bar were complementary we didn’t know that but they were. The housekeeping was great rooms were very clean. The staff was super friendly. We ate at the rooftop one night. I kind of wish they had a bigger menu variety. We ordered the steak and fries and it was good. The view made up for it though so book one night at least to eat up top on the rooftop overlooking the cathedral will definitely be booking again. We had such a great time. We felt safe and while taking care of.

This is a wonderful hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone traveling to Mexico City! The location is prime; right in the heart of the Historic Center, and steps from the cathedral. We absolutely loved the delicious breakfast each morning on the open air rooftop overlooking the cathedral where you could hear the bells chime. There are many delicious options on the breakfast buffet plus you can order off the menu as well and get fresh lattes, cappuccinos and juice. The hotel also has a 24 hour café with light snacks and beer, all complementary. So convenient after a day of sightseeing to sit down and enjoy. We even took advantage of the complementary downtown walking tour; we learned a ton. Our room was very comfortable with a wardrobe, great bed, and nicely equipped bathroom. The service is excellent at this hotel. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Mexico City.

My family of four stayed six night at Zocalo Central and we really enjoyed it! They gave us a warm welcome and were very attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Shout out to Raul & Jose Luis who were always there to assist us with our requests and questions. We enjoyed our coffee & breakfast on the rooftop and the Cafe Central inside hotel was also fantastic! Complimentary coffee, pastries, snacks & beer 24/7!! Great location, Highly recommend

This is our favorite hotel in Mexico City. The Staff is amazing. Rooms are impeccable clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Room window was facing the inside courtyard so we didn’t experience any city noise. Breakfast with the best view!!! We will definitely try to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Zocalo Central Hotel in historic downtown and it was an amazing experience. The room was extremely clean. We had free breakfast every morning and 24 hours snacks available to us in their café. The staff was extremely polite and everything was within walking distance to us. I will highly recommend this hotel to anybody that wants to have an amazing experience in Mexico City.

My room is very nice and I am paying for it. However I have no internet connection and this drives me crazy. The breakfast that is included does not taste good. The service is very nice on another hand, the workers are super nice. I love this hotel but I need my internet. Breakfast I can do without.

This is one of two review as I stayed in two different rooms. First was the suite, much larger and nicer. Was facing beautiful Cathedral so amazing view! Was a bit loud but to be expected. Worth staying here. From Check in which was nothing less than 5 star service, our front desk Katrina was fantastic, i cant say more about how welcoming, she was. I told her it was my birthday and she had a surprise for me the next day of cake and decorated my room WOW! She truly was amazing. FOOD is fantastic as well, from top roof restaurant to the cafe. We had dinner at the rooftop and again service was top notch. Breakfast was not your usual, they truly show they care about their guest. My husband said he did not want to stay at any other place when we return. He ever says that LOL.. he loved everything. I truly recommend this hotel.

The staff-concierge, bellmen, front desk, housekeeping were all amazingly friendly and extra helpful-they went the extra mile for us. Great location for seeing the historical sites of Centro Historico area. The rooftop terrace is stunning, what a great location. The rooms were a bit loud at night.

The near prefect reviews of this place are entirely deserved. One of the best places I've ever stayed and I don't say that lightly. The staff was absolutely over the top good. We had a free welcome drink of Mezcal at check in and it only got better and better from there. As a US tourist with very little Spanish and zero experience in Mexico City staying here was a huge part of our trip being as amazing as it was. The room was quiet for how loud the area is but light sleepers may still want ear plugs as there's a lot going on in central Mexico City and this location is as Central as you can get. The restaurant upstairs was one of the best meals we had the whole trip. The cafe was so great to have available all day and night and almost entirely free of charge. The advice and 24hr availability of the staff, the security, literally everything made this place an absolute 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

Due to travel issues we were unable to make it to Mexico City to stay here, I spent at least 3 hours trying to cancel out reservation....Still have not received a credit for this reservation..WE never arrived, never stayed at this hotel and still await a full refund for this. Poor customer service from Hotels.com Nd this hotel. We will never recommend this hotel or the service of Hotels.com

This is an outstanding stay. Junior Suite was roomy, clean and comfortable. Amenities were top notch and the staff were pleasant, professional and helpful. Best hotel experience in the last 50 trips. Refreshing.

We liked the property, a couple of employees at the restaurant seemed to have an attitude and they had a body language that they did not want yo work that day, however I have to highlight Alexandra (during breakfast time) she was amazing! Another thing that I did not liked, i was charged extra to check in early, my flight arrived around 9am ! With all the information that was entered way in advanced nor the hotel or expedia were able to give a heads up. Overall, as courtesy, i think the hotel should offer at least to keep our luggage. The rooms were ready anyway. But thats just my point of view.

The property is excellent, the staff was great and were very polite. We had several issues with the Host of the Restaurant Balcon del Zocalo. Stepahine was very rude. I complined to the Consierge (Videre??) and she was very helpful and fixed everything. Or so we though. Stephanie managed upset my wife and friends. She gave us a very small table and mentioned that we eould be very uncomfortable, that we could maybe fit 5 peoble but not 6. This was very embarrassing since she lashed out in front of everyone. We were there for our anniverssary dinner and she ruined it!. We had a written confirmation for a party of 6. She did not care and did not follow the consierges instructions for our reservation. Our friend went to the front desk and complained about Stephanie for a third time (even the Consierge could not beleieve it). The consierge helped abd saved the day. We went back up they accomodated us in a very nice. We honestly could not understand how this hotel with this amazing staff could have someone like Stephanie make us fell terrible, not once but three different times. She was disrespectful, loud and very rude. I could not find the hotel Manager but made sure to stop at the consierge and asked fo the hotel Manager to be aware of the situation. This was truly the only thing that went TERRIBLY WRONG. Stepanie is the reason I am giving the lowest rating on the staff.

Karina was by far the best part of the stay. Very sweet and attentive front desk girl— we loved her and she made us excited to go downstairs. The cafe was great! Daniela and Michelle were so kind and offered great service. The entire staff indoors was great. The door people were usually less than inviting and spent most of their time gossiping about the guests in Spanish. They assumed I couldn’t understand them and would openly speak poorly of me behind my back. When confronted they would just smile and act like that wasn’t the case. A few good ones but most would just gossip up front. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The food was great. The air conditioning in the rooms isn’t the best and it definitely got warm in there but we made it work.

This is my favorite hotel, but as right now there is 10,000+ people protesting on the zocalo so the hotel is surrounded by protesters tents and makes it very difficult to walk around, the closest the taxi could get to the hotel was 3 blocks away This is not the hotels fault but i think possible guests should know about it

Five stars isn’t enough for this hotel - it’s a beautifully maintained property with incredible guest amenities and the staff went above and beyond in every regard! The location is truly in the heart of it all! Shops, restaurants, and shopping all within reasonable walking distance. However be prepared that this area is always busy! We felt safe and well taken care of!

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly, I was there for the Dia de los muertos and luckily the parade ended right by the hotel so it was definitely worth staying there for that , plus it was almost center of the city so to be able to get a uber or the subway was so easy to get around.

There is a huge protest and can't get to the hotel with luggage - had to walk 3 blocks - uber drivers dropped off at unfamiliar locations - felt very unsafe walking around there. Guests should have been notified - its a mess. All the amenities of staying at a nice hotel in a foreign city went out the window…

Wonderful Stay – Perfect Location and Exceptional Service I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel. The location couldn’t be better—just a few minutes’ walk to the nearby cathedral and main square. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.
