Elevadores ya muy viejos

Several things were not working in Emporio's favour when we arrived. Both the hotel's elecators had broken down and my husband and I and our bags had to squeeze into a tiny service lift to get to our room on the eleventh floor. Eventually, one of the lifts became serviceable again, but it took such a long time to move us between floors. Another annoying issue was the room cards would not work to let us into our room after we returned in the evenings. We had to go through the entirely frustrating issue of waiting for the lift to come up to our floor and then take us up again after the cards were reactivated. The airconditioning was also not performing as expected, though the staff were very attentive to our complaints and acted immediately to try to address the problem. They had to bring in a fan eventually. The staff at Emporio, I would say, are the hotel's biggest assets. All of them, from the reception to the maintenance crew to the rearaurant staff, were exceptional in their service. If not for them, Emporio would have nothing extraordinary to offer.

Limpio y acogedor hotel. El servicio es muy bueno. Un pequeño detalle es que el estacionamiento tiene costo y no lo menciona el servicio de Hoteles.com . Pero en todo lo demas, un hotel muy recomendado.

As usual, my stay at the Emporio Hotel was a great one. The staff all are very kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant is great as well as the vibes at the bar in the lobby. I would always go back!!

Todo estuvo muy bien, el problema fue el elevador que está en la entrada, que al subir se apagó, llamé a recepción y como que no les importó, hasta que una persona lo pidió en el piso 3 fue como encendió y subió del loby al piso 3, yo iba al 2, y de ahí me baje en las escaleras. Ni si quiera se acercaron a ver si si estabamos ahí. Y el baño tenía un olorcillo a cucaracha

La ubicación céntrica del lugar; sus servicios de restaurante y gimnasio.

The service food and drinks were spot on !!!! It’s in a good area the only complaint I would have is the tub wouldn’t hold the water to use the jets and I paid a lil extra for city view and it was not city view at all but the food is delicious here

La habitación muy limpia y funcional. Buena ubicación. El personal amable y servicial. En nuestra habitación no se escuchaba ruido exterior y se agradece la oscuridad total de la habitación para tener un sueño reparador.

Me dieron una habitación clasificada como “petite” y en la página de Hotels no la Incluye; el baño estaba sucio, había hongos en la tina, una cucaracha seca en la pared Tuve que pedir cambio de cuarto pero no volvería a quedarme en este hotel

Hotel muy limpio, bien cuidado, desayunó súper rico. Pero sobre todo, excelente atención!

Staff very friendly hotel very clean. Everyone very attentive

Lacks basic minimum standards of hygiene to the point of a public health hazard: growth of dark visible molds in bath tub grouts all around, unwashed shower curtains that stink, raw sewage gases and odor emanating from the drain, non functioning elevators except for a specific card that only staff has. Unresponsive staff or downright lying to customers when asked about a change to a room that meets minimum requirements or as advertised. In sum a theft and failure to refund when all these issues including a water leakage occurred that required me to find another hotel after testing at least two room in this hotel to avoid cancelling it

En general un hotel céntrico , la atención está bien , pero al llegar al cuarto el baño estaba sucio con detalles deberían poner énfasis en eso . Lo demás relación precio -servicio bien .

The room was extremely small-we were very uncomfortable. Everything else was very good. I would not stay there again-I am afraid of small spaces. Did not like the room at all.

Por ser promociones te dejan en los primeros pisos donde las paredes no aíslan el ruido, y se hospedan los clientes más inadaptados.

The Emporio Hotel it is fine, but the double bed room is really tiny. Literally, when you get out of bed you are already in the restroom, the closet is super small and you can’t hung a dress because there’s not room for. I was expecting a queen bed but they don’t have queen beds, just double beds or king, but to switch for a king bed was more expensive. The lobby and the facade are beautiful but the rest of the hotel is old and dark. The staff is very friendly and the treat the guests very well.

La habitacion estaba bien, el hotel es un poco viejo pero esta limpio y los empleados amables, pero si eres sensible a las camas estas no estaban comodas y las almohadas tampoco, pero hay personas que pueden dormir donde sea, el hotel esta sobre la av reforma en la noche si se escuchan los ruidos de la ciudad para que lo consideres al dormir

Chambre assez bien équipée, parfois sur demande comme le coffre de sécurité ou d’autres éléments, toutefois peu ou pas lumineux … fenêtre pas accessible et sans vu … faut aimer ne pas avoir de fenêtre.

El personal increíble todos muy serviciales. El buffet muy rico excelente ubicación....las habitaciones muy cómodas. El internet muy bueno. Todo excelente. Solamente mejor organización al momento de hacer check in.

We are repeat guests at Emporio Hotel on Reforma in Mexico City. We love the service, food and location with amazing city views. Emporio Hotel is awesome!!

I had my laptop stolen from inside my locked hotel room while I was out. I had left my laptop discretely packed in my backpack, and left it inside my hotel room. I'm very careful with expensive items while traveling. On the last day of my stay, I discovered that my laptop had been removed. Thankfully, no other items were taken. Management was less than prompt in investigating - I noticed at 6am and immediately spoke to the front desk, a security team came to my room and looked under the bed at about 10am, with standard checkout at 11am. I was not shown any security footage, only told that "they didn't see anything unusual." While I appreciate any amount of attention being paid, and I'm sure that there have been other travelers who reported something stolen only to find it under their bed, I would have hoped for other steps to be taken - such as interviews with housekeeping staff and reviews of security footage. I was not given footage. The hotel did offer a late checkout, however, the keycards we were given stopped working at 11am and it took multiple trips back to the front desk to get them working again, sort of defeating the point. I was very frustrated to receive absolutely no follow-up communication or even a response from the hotel despite emailing them repeatedly for multiple days. I was assured that the hotel would follow up with staff and review keycard logs, however, I have heard nothing. Unfortunately can not recommend this hotel due to major security issues.

Tienen fiestas en un salón que está en la planta baja y ponen la música tan fuerte que retumban las habitaciones en el Hotel. Un tal Guillermo dijo que iba hablar con la coordinadora de la fiesta para que bajaran el volumen y solo fue una mentira. Lo peor es que la persona encargada del lobby en lugar de buscar Darme una disculpa o una solución me dijo que tenían un evento hasta las 2:00 a.m. Osea que me tenía que aguantar sin dormir. Lo peor es que dejé una queja para el gerente que olímpicamente ignoró. Es muy triste que echen a perder un Hotel que podría ser excelente por no importarles el huésped. Voy a poner una queja también ante la Profeco por qué no se vale , rente una habitacion de Hotel principalmente para dormir fue lo que menos puede hacer.

Expedía scammed us advertising different prices for the same room and giving us the higher price. Hotel staff rude and unwilling to help with the Expedia issue. Had to change rooms because the first one smelled like feet.

Spent another week at hotel Emporio Reforma . Beautiful historic building. Friendly staff, housekeeping Edith, Reservation Director Martin, Bellboys Ramon, Oscar, Fernando. Very friendly Dining room staff and main desk employees. Always a positive experience each visit.

Excelente ubicación

The location is great, the room was clean, and staff was courteous. That said, in my experience, hotel prices are usually the same for one or two guests. I selected one guest by accident. The staff indicated that it would be an additional $418 pesos to add a guest. Something to keep in mind when making the reservation. I would book again.

Muy bien ubicado sobre la avenida Reforma, el Aeropuerto de México a 35 minutos en uber, el AIFA a 1 hora y media aprox. Cuatos limpiosm con lima, tele y baño amplio. La cama matrimonial para cuartos de 2 personas la senti muy pequeña. Personal muy amable. Llegamos 9am y no nos dieron cuarto pero pudimos dejar nuestras maletas en consigna. Lo recomiendo

La ubicacion, facil acceso, zona segura, puedes caminar con sensacion de seguridad, museos, teatros ,auditorios muy cercanos, el Hotel, limpieza, personal calidad de alimntos , excelentes, muy recomndable.

I love this hotel, is located in the heart of the most famous avenue Reforma, the rooms are small, but I like them, very clean and comfortable that is the most important thing for me. I’ll recommend this hotel for everyone. You have everything close and you can walk from the hotel to see the zocalo, Bella’s artes, monumento de la revolución, Chapultepec, all the museos around, restaurants, malls, movies theaters, Mercado de artesanías, etc, etc, etc.

I had a below-average experience at this hotel, Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made. **Cons:** - **Housekeeping:** Inconsistent—some days the room was cleaned, other days it wasn’t. - **Front Desk:** Unhelpful with basic questions, despite being highly staffed. - **Room Misrepresentation:** Booked a room with a "queen size" bed, but the beds were clearly full size. When this was brought up, I was told that’s their standard size and accommodations could only be made with a costly upgrade. Very misleading. - **Amenities Issues:** Room temperature control was faulty, and the rooms smelled of mold. They were also small, with old furniture. When asked for a cot, we were offered a floor cushion instead. - **Service:** Café staff was rude, which added to the disappointment. **Pros:** - The breakfast buffet was excellent. - Lobby bathrooms were clean. - The door staff was friendly and welcoming.

El problemes que es muy enrredoso y las vistas pesimas te dan a muros pero si esti no te importa el hotel muy bien el bueftte muy malo mill veces mejor 3l del fiesta americana a una cuadra y muchismo mejor ni comparacion
