Beautiful hotel, great artwork, with lovely cafe, daily room cleaning, two hip bars, amazing service and attention, located just a brisk walk from a lovely park with museums. The restaurants are decent but not amazing, the brunch being the highlight. The architecture is somewhat harsh, with required longer walks. Still, it is very much worth the money. The property and service was good, but for what you are paying for the room it wasnt well equiped, didnt have a minibar, not even to keep your snacks and beverages cool, they didnt have an ice machine, and charged for the ice and room service was over priced; the service was good though

The Camino Real Polanco continues to be my favorite hotel in Mexico City. Designed by a Mexican architect legend in the 60s, the hotel is lovely to behold, full of masterpiece artwork by Mexican artists. From the fountain design at the entrance, the long walks to your room with views of gardens, the hotel is a definitive respite from the busy city. Best room service in town.

This is my favourite hotel in Mexico City, the staff, the rooms and the facilities are outstanding. We always stay in the club rooms which have been refurbished with the benefit of the club access. Really a great place to stay!

Nice hotel. No real complaints, just some things not as promised. I paid for VIP upgrade. Special check in was part of the deal, but I was directed to the main front desk. The vip suite was clean and comfortable, but rather odd. You enter to the living room area which looks out to kind of an industrial courtyard. No view. You head to the bedroom to find a cave. No window at all. Continue to the massive changing room big enough for a starlet and all her attendees, and onto the bathroom. Bathroom was very nice with extra amenities including a nice clothes steamer, which I really appreciated. The king bed was very comfortable. The pool are was nice, but not exceptional. It seemed excessive to totally disallow smoking a cigar anywhere but outside of the property. The pool area was a huge nice courtyard with a big lawn. No reason they could not set aside a single smoking area or just allow it anywhere.
