this is an excellent hotel for those wanting all the cleanliness and amenities of a 5 star hotel. for those wanting more Mexican flavor, another choice might be considered. the staff is top notch, friendly and willing to help. the 24 hour French restaurant served great food. the independently run spa was much enjoyed.

For the price paid should have been better and cleaner, bathroom walls were dirty and shower head wouldn't stay on. Came back to wet floor due to that the sink had a leak. The views from room were great loved having a couch.little alarm clock with speaker to connect the phone was nice 🙂👍

The room was not properly cleaned. While the sheets and towels were clean, the room itself was outdated and poorly maintained. The robes provided were worn out and should be replaced. We also used the spa services, but the steam room and showers were unclean, with a lot of hair on the floor. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good.

The hotel room and the bathroom were dirty when we arrived. I asked the staff to clean the bathroom well, and it was still not cleaned. Dust and hair were present on the baseboards and it looked as if it hadn’t been clean in weeks. The furniture was damaged, old and dated. The staff at the hotel was nice and friendly, the breakfast was good. It is located in a nice and safe area of Mexico City.

Pros: - A very convenient location, close to the Anthropology Museum - The staff is very nice and helpful - Great views from the top floors Cons: - The breakfast is downright inedible. We had breakfast included and after the first day opted for going out and eating in one of the numerous nearby cafes - It was hard for us to get a good night sleep. The sound insolation is bad and so, the first two rows of the rooms adjacent to elevator are very noisy (and you can hear people walking above you). During the last night the battery in the smoke detector ran out and it started chirping at 3AM.

We had a great stay here….right up to check out. That is where it took a negative turn. The cleaning staff accidentally took a white T-shirt of my wife’s from the bathroom on the second day of our stay. We called down and they assured us they would track it down. We asked a day later and they said they would keep looking. Fast forward to check out. We figured they would rectify the situation. Not even close. They acted like it was they first they heard of it. Basically, we got a shrug of the shoulders and an “oh well” from the staff. Like it was our fault. The other thing was the final bill. Our reservation was two rooms, both with breakfast for two ( my wife, my two daughters and myself). I even confirmed this when checking in as I had seen some reviews that highlighted this problem. The woman at check in confirmed breakfast for four. When we check out, we were billed for two breakfasts/day after being told (in spite of the clear wording of our Expedia reservation) that only one room includes breakfast. Was it expensive? Not really. But do they really need to nickel and dime after you spend a decent amount of money on your stay? I don’t think so. Everything was great about this place and I’d give it five stars otherwise. It’s like a great meal that came with a terrible desert. You just can’t forget that last course and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Oh, and they tried to bill us for some minibar item and I NEVER touch the minibar. Gotta buy a new shirt too!

Great location in beautiful Polanco area. Lots of restaurants and shops. Service was exceptional. Especially concierge, Leonel Garcia and Andros were very efficient in communicating with me on whats app and in person. They booked restaurants and shows that were difficult for me to do. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants to choose from in the hotel. Defintely recommend and will stay here again.

I had an issue with a drunk guest that try to enter my room he was almost naked in the hallway. I called security and they acted upon the situation but I never received anything not even an apology from the hotel. The hotel staff is not that nice.

We were there during the Miss universe event and we needed to check some business details they had two desks in lobby with portable tops as one person was on the other desk using the computer we assumed these were courtesy for guests there were no signs stating they were for hotel or guests no sign what so ever so as my colleague began to open lap top to use a a grotesque old semi bald obese man with no name tag rushed to slap it shut in a violent manner he was aggressive and down right belligerent screaming they could not be used when questioned why was he so aggressive and tried to explain there were no visible signs prohibiting their use he snapped and said he was not to be questioned since he was the manger ! To say the least this was the worst customer experience ever! Upon inquiring to other staff how we could file a complaint no one knew and silence was the constant answer. This cannot be a 5 star hotel when their key customer service is seriously compromised ! I hope I can get a response from corporate it was a " weekend manager"

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Would definitely send a friend there.

Great place to stay in Mexico City. Walking distance to museums and Parque Chapultepec. The staff is awesome, special thanks to the Urban Cafe staff during breakfast time & the housekeeping staff (un millón de gracias, a million thanks). Room and service was excellent. We had Christmas dinner at the hotel. They were nice to let us have a table without reservations and the service was great, however the food at the steakhouse was terrible. We paid $120 per person and the steak was chewy and the soup was salty. The salad was good. We returned two of our three steaks.

I cannot thank enough the staff at Presidente Chapultepec. I traveled with my two college aged granddaughters one of whom was in crutches . The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever we went down to the lobby and back in the hotel we met at least four or five staff members asking if they would help. We had stayed at the hotel in 2019 and were eager to return. The place has been completely remodeled, ample rooms and wonderful beds.
