Hotel Royal Reforma

First room I had, the a/c did not work and extremely hot in the room. Moved to second room where shower head barely worked. Moved me to 3rd room and it was a double bed instead of 1 king size bed. This was a nice room and not much wrong. The biggest disappointment was the pool was closed for renovation, and that was the only reason we chose this hotel.

The facilities were a little dated. The gym equipment was not completely functional. The pool was closed. That was very dissappointing.

El check in estuvo bien rápido, el desayuno muy genérico, afuera hay opciones mejores, el gym y el estacionamiento no los use, a la terraza fuimos todos los días, esta solo la persona que atiende el bar, las sombrillas siempre cerradas como si no quisieran que estuvieran las personas mucho rato, la alberca muy chica, más bien parece Jacussi, debido a la zona donde se encuentra el hotel Zona Rosa hay dias de mucho ruido en la calle, afuera de la Habitacion simpre hay mangueras tiradas de la aspiradora

For a 4star hotel this was absolutely terrible. Run down facilities and it was nowhere noted that the pool wasn’t working which I specifically booked this hotel to go swimming!

Great location, clean and secure. Small pool on top of the hotel and a nice view of the city at day or night. Metro and metrobus at walking distance.

Pretty safe, lots of police 24x 7 around. Affordable, the rooms need to be renovated. No fridge or iron. Decent gym facility, the pool is too close to the bar.

Es muy molesto llegar a un hotel que supuestamente es 4 estrellas para ver las alfombras completamente sus cías y manchadas, un asco verdadero! Y luego para llegar cansado al final del día para darte cuenta de que el aire acondicionado hotel no sirve y como las ventanas no abren pasamos las noches asfixiándonos.

Clean rooms, excellent shower water pressure, and in a perfect location

Clean rooms. Quiet. Better lighting needed in room. Not much interaction with staff at front desk. They answered questions but not much hospitality awareness.

I burned my back twice while showering the water changes temperature both days, the carpet very dirty, did not walk bare feet because of that. Coffee weak with no cream and no sugar when asked when ordered room service.

I would not recomend this hotel, its noicy from the highway next to it, the carpet was not fresh or the beds and I an accept this from a basic hote. The worst was when they decided to paint the hallway outside the rooms without notifying us. First it looked like just some little refresh paint but after 2nd day of painting and without any good ventilation I had enough. Just bad service and a rundown hotel.

Muy buena ubicación, instalaciones impecables, personal muy amable, y súper súper seguro transitar en sus alrededores a cualquier hora.

The AC does not work. Each floor level is connected to an AC unit which control the overall temperature of the whole level as a whole. A person cannot control the temperature of the room. It’s super hot, 25 Celsius

Terrible no servia el aire no cuenta con conexiones para cel tiens que buscsr en el balo el aire de todo el hotel no servia

The area around the hotel is walkable day and night. Close to zona rosa bars and nightclubs. Hotel is in good condition. Carpets might need cleaning or to be replaced. Other than that all was good.

Both air conditioning and tv in the room did not work. Complaining to the front desk, they sent a repair man, but he said only the air vent works and not the air conditioning - the air conditioning blows only blows warm air.

Solo falta cafetera en la habitación

Great service and convenient location, I didn’t like the is not microwave and mini fridge. I’m diabetic and it’s really important for me to keep my insulin in the fridge, I was so disappointed when I noticed it

Customer service was amazing. Check in was a breeze. A/C was amazing. 2 elevators but didn’t wait long for either. Centrally located, restaurants bars everywhere. Room was cleaned daily. Water was hot. Water pressure was good.

All the staff at Hotel Royal Reforma were helpful and kind. The hotel is located in a perfect area with easy access to lots of restaurants, markets, and beauty. Raul was especially helpful when helping us get to the Frida Kahlo museum!

Es el peor hotel que he visitado en alguna ciudad, jamás se hospeden ahí si quieren descansar, las ventanas lejos de tener insolación de ruido, tienen una rejilla de piso a techo en las ventanas y escuchas muchisisismo ruido todo el tiempo, mariguanos gritando, motores, motos, gente hablando, patrullas, claxons, sin decir que los empleados súper descorteses, la peor experiencia y llevo 20 años usando hoteles para hospedarme, ha sido el peor

Muy bien, el personal es muy amable buen servicio. considero que si deben mejorar la alfombra en mi habitacion si se encontraba un poco sucia. Algo que reporte en su momento fue que un dia de mi estancia en la habitacion en la media noche abrieron la puerta, afortunadamente habia alguien dentro para evitar un robo. lo reporté en recepción, eso me dejo preocupado.

We arrived early and asked if we could check in early. The clerk said that they had a room ready but I would have to pay a fee. The fee was the equivalent of day. We decided not to check-in early and just checked the bag. We came back around 2:15 pm and a lot of people were waiting to check in at 3 pm. They were very strict and waited until exactly 3 pm to give guests the keys to the rooms. Most hotels are flexible when it comes to early check in if there is availability but whatever. The room was not very clean and the carpet was all stained. I don't know why have carpets when you know people are going to spill stuff and make it stink. The bathroom was not very clean either. The door handle kept getting stuck when we try to enter the room. The next day it stopped working and we could not enter the room. I went to the front desk and notified them. They sent a handyman and he had to cut some of the door frame to open our room. We had to transfer to a new room because the door was not able to lock anymore. The room was 509. We transferred to 707 which was in way better condition. It was cleaner and everything looked newer. After seeing the room I felt like they initially gave us the worst room they had. In the mornings you could hear the vacuum cleaner on the top floor and the neighboring rooms. It was very noisy and it kept waking us up. On our last day around 8:30 am we had the room cleaning man open the door even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel is conveniently located for a very pleasant visit to Mexico City.

Top quality service from Raul the doorman .fluent in English, has several good chats with him . Valet parked my car . Great guy.

La ubicación es increíble, tiene unas vistas espectaculares y es fácil transportarse

This is certainly not a four star or "upscale" hotel. The air conditioning did not work, apparently throughout the hotel. We checked six rooms and none had working A/C. Generally the staff and manager were very friendly but accomplished very little, as in this case. There were multiple cases of this behaviour. We were left sitting in the lobby for hours because they had no provision to securely store our luggage, and they didn\'t tell us when our room was ready although they promised to do so.. The elevators are wholly inadequate for a a building of its size. There are only two and their capacity for weight is very low so, even though people could fit, the elevator would announce that someone would have to get off; it took more than half an hour just to go from the ninth floor to the lobby. One of the elevators was broken for the better part of the day. There were homeless people sleeping on the street a few minutes\' walk from the hotel. It is in the Zona Rosa area, which is well-described in Wikipedia : "...men\'s clubs, gay bars, and massage parlors, which has made Zona Rosa more “red” than “pink”. As the area was promoted for tourism, fast-food places, nightclubs, and bars sprung up, ... problems with underage drinking and prostitution." The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job, and the Primavera restaurant had fantastic food and great service. The rooms were clean except for stained carpet. There were multiple small maintenance issues.

Buen hotel, muy amplio al menos la habitación que tuve; muy buena ubicación, cerca de reforma, metrobús insurgente y muchos comercios cerca, aunque la zona es de fiesta no hay mucho ruido. Personal muy atento. Al buffet le falta variedad.

Really enjoyed my stay here, very comfortable and clean and the staff were great, the food was excellent. Loved that it was a very walkable area. will definitely be back.

AC not working, dirty, elevator dropped when I was in it, hot water valve would not shut off. Would never stay there again. Food at restaurant was just okay

Me cobraron el desayuno y estaba incluido, un mesero poco amable, la habitación tenía fuga de agua y no tenía buen internet.

No respetan los precios proporcionados por Expedia, en particular los del desayuno y el estacionamiento. La comida es muy mala.

Las personas del comedor le negaron un vaso de agua caliente a una señora cliente y se lo querían vender,eso habla muy mal,pedí dos te en el comedor ,costaban 45 pesos cada uno y me cobraron al final 135 pesos .No me lleve la mejor de las experiencias .

Todo te cobran a parte, el desayuno lo cobran a parte y no vale lo que cuesta, está limitado. En general está bien el hotel.
