They have elevator problems that appeared not to be taken care of. We were limited to only one elevator. My wife and I are over 80 years old and we had to cross over a very high bathtub in order to shower. No anti skid material on tub. Not “cool”.

Excelente experiencia. Muy atentos y amables desde la recepción del hotel hasta el check-out. La ubicación es perfecta tanto si se llega con vehículo particular como si se llega en transporte público. La alberca climatizada está ideal aunque el jacuzzi como tal no funciona adecuadamente. This hotel felt like it has been neglected. The plug in the bath didn't fit properly, so couldn't stay in it for long. On the first day the housekeeping removed the whole plug mechanism (a metal, jointed affair) from the bath and didn't put it back. I tried but failed, so no more baths for me. With full-on hot water only, it was only just warm enough for a bath. A couple of times my shower was tepid at best. If I had been shaving, I would have had to boil water to get it hot enough for that - but no kettle in the room. The air con controls on the wall did not seem to have any power, so that wasn't available. My room had a little kitchenette, with sink, microwave and coffee percolator. But....no cutlery or crockery of any kind. No milk (powdered or long-life) with the tea/coffee tray, or teaspoon. There was powdered milk inside the packet with the coffee bag in it but if you don't drink coffee you wouldn't know. I didn't have breakfast. Pool and gym were small but pretty good. I had a meal in the restaurant and the appetizer was enormous (and tasty)! The staff were very courteous and friendly. Going for a quiet night cap in the bar was of course accompanied by blaring, horrible dance music. That seemed to be the case wherever I went though.

Well situated hotel, not too far away from Alameda Park & Historic Center (Zocalo) but also close to the lively area of the Zona Rosa! And if you want to go for a long walk on the Paseo de la Reforma, again no problem. Le Meridien is located on the Paseo de la Reforma. Spacious rooms! Furthermore, I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. Great value for money!

Great location. Rooms are spacious but I was quite surprise there was not a minibar to keep cold your beverage or so. Pool is nice but the bathroom for men was closed and the only staff there could not help (woman doing massage service)

Very nice room and staff. One small problem: 2 of their 3 elevators was out and in a 19 floor hotel that creates all kinds of backups. And the staff never said a word nor offered any amenities, compensation, etc. Big fail. Otherwise, very standard part of the city. Nothing special. Lots of American chains. Not anywhere near as fun as other neighborhoods.

We had to change 3 rooms at check in time since rooms where not properly cleaned, hotel car entrance is part of side walk and had trouble bringing the car to the entrance causing police to almost impound our car!

I booked this hotel based on the good reviews and since it’s considered a 4 stars hotel. However I had a really bad experience with the cleanliness. The towels we got the first night were very old and had stains(really bad). This kept happening and I had to keep requesting new towels. It seems that they have been using the same nasty towels for a long time. I complaint a couple times and you would thing they would make sure I was getting clean towels. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Really disappointing hotel. It’s in a great location, but unfortunately the hotel is lacking in many ways. Paint is peeling, furniture feels old and cheap, AC makes a rattling noise, bathroom door would rub against the frame when closing. These are the main things I noticed.

Definitely old and dated. The rooms could use a full Reno. The cabinets were falling apart, the fridge door didn’t work… had to have maintenance come up two nights in a row to fix the tv. The shower head was plugged with gunk. Only redeemable features of the property was the staff, the pool and the gym.

The room offers two separate areas (bedroom and living room), which is a nice for naps or down time as we had a child with us. Starbucks location located at bottom or ground level. Hotel front desk, bellmen and housekeeping staff is friendly. We chose the hotel since it seemed conveniently central to everything we wanted to do...Zocalo, Chapultepec Zoo/Park, Palacio de Bellas Artes. We were able to walk almost everywhere. The hours for pool are a bonus when you have kids, they can unwind or burn off energy while adults use jacuzzi. A few negatives; rooms with view as we had need maintenance (visible dust bunnies in structure), restaurant staff could or should have change for larger pesos and be a bit more friendlier or helpful to tourists.

This hotel is located on a street where protests occur frequently, which I understand and accept. What is unacceptable, however, is the hotel’s complete lack of assistance for guests who are blocked from entering the property. Guests are left standing on the street with their luggage, vulnerable and exposed, with no guidance or support from hotel staff. This is not only unsafe, but entirely inappropriate for a hotel of this caliber. The best thing about this hotel is JOSE, the head porter, he is EXCEPTIONAL.

My stay was for 7 nights They offered complimentary breakfast buffet,for the remainder last 4 nights, however , I was approached and questioned in a rude way about helping my self to their buffet. Nice hotel. Room service was bad considering I stayed there 6 nights and had to ask every single day for toiletries, facecloths , hand towels, water, tea and coffee and sugar for the complimentary coffee maker. I expected better from a LeMeridien hotel. Still, I liked the size of the rooms and bathroom and quietness . But hotel could have done better.

Victor the concierge was excellent Immediately connected w us and helped us plan our days while there Even helped secure face painting for the parade on Saturday He made our stay While the hotel is a little worn it was extremely clean Our hskper did a great job keeping our room clean and stocked Front desk was always helpful, friendly and had a smile on their faces the entire time I still rate this experience excellent despite the service in the restaurant which wasn’t good any day Difficult to get coffee, pick up dirty dishes I should have gotten the name of the server that was there each day He was not friendly and seemed to intentionally ignore our table Actually made it uncomfortable to be in there This was for breakfast but overall would return because of victor, hskping and the front desk Location was a plus as well

The hotel is older and we had issues with a horrible smell coming from our air conditioning. The area around the hotel is definitely not the worst, but being on a Main Street proved challenging at times. The staff were extraordinary and when we complained about the smell we were moved instantly. It’s a value of a hotel, but if I came back I’d stay somewhere in a neighborhood like Roma.

Terrible all around! Do yourself a favor and DONT stay here. Horribly rude staff. Construction all around and a very dated/old hotel. Rooms are dingy and toilet barely flushed. Also the construction didn’t allow us to get dropped off in front of the hotel so we had to walk with our luggage across the busy streets. I immediately checked out upon arrival!

Good restaurants around hotel close to old town Mexico City. The breakfast included in room is ok the fresh to order eggs/omelette is good. The dinner in las Gorias was bad eat out of hotel so many better options. Ordered the guacamole and it came with some over cooked deep fried shrimp that we were overcharged for. Took a lot to get the shrimp removed from the bill as we didn’t order and tasted not good

The staff at this hotel were the friendliest, most accomodating we could have asked for. The food at the restaurant below is amazing, the buffet was a lovely addition to our mornings and from across the lobby there's a Starbucks! Everything is made so convenient. We truly loved our stay. Few things to note: The jacuzzi and pool are great (when they're hot) The room service is attentive yet they sprayed too many scents on everything. My friend has very sensitive allergies. The bar was a lovely space but it wasn't fully functional so the staff was left running downstairs to the restaurant for supplies. The surrounding location is a very busy and bustling area, like Times Square. With that being said, amazing stay. Thank you all!

The good: Great location, good looking building, easy to find. Service was very good. Accommodated early check in. 2 small bottles of drinking water provided per day. Very spacious rooms, AC works great, bellman is amazing. Great price! The Bad: Property appears dated, ceiling in the bathroom was peeling really bad, phone in the room wasn’t working & the light it emitted was supper bright, had to put a towel over it. One day the cleaning lady left only one towel. There’s absolutely no outlets on one side of the bed, I guess they assumed only one person will need to charge their phone. Do not eat at their restaurant. Food was horrible and the service was even worse.
