A very well appointed hotel with a ton of amenities WAY beyond the vast majority of comparable hotels in the city. Swimming pool was nice with a large hot tub, very well-equipped gym, 2 squash courts (!!), a kids playroom and more. Nice location and great to have a balcony. The real highlight for our group were the phenomenal staff - almost everyone we encountered provided service that was well-beyond what we would expect. Very high praise for the staff at this hotel!! The only area for improvement is that some parts of the hotel are starting to show their age and could use repair or renovation - some work on the building itself, coupled with the excellent staff, would make this hotel easily earn 5 stars across the board from our group. Overall, very pleased with our stay and with this hotel - and most especially the staff.

The property was situated within walkable distance to all the attractions and the subway was close by for any other attractions that are a little further away. The staff were welcoming and very great with kids. The rooms were cozy and spotless. Will definitely be coming back. The playroom was popular with our eight year old!

Property is really nice and the staff were lovely. The location is perfect! We were able to enjoy great shopping, holiday festivities happening downtown Montreal, delicious food all within walking distance to the hotel. We walked to the hotel from the bell centre and it was only a 15min walk. Under ground parking a plus. I deducted a star because the pool was closed for maintenance and this was not communicated until I received my email 2 days before check in from the hotel. The water pressure was atrosious. The restaurant on-site is subpar. Dinner was good food but overly pricey for the quality of food. You can’t beat the convenience of this restaurant after a late check in. The breakfast buffet was what you would expect however it was overly priced for what it was. We knew what we were getting but again the convenience before checking out is why we ate here on our last day. The fitness facility was better than expected. Was able to get in a great workout after a late check in. We will book again in the future.

The room was spacious and clean the beds were comfortable. My only critiques is the elevators were extremely slow. I waited almost 5 minutes for one. The pool is on the main floor which is a bit embarrassing to go downstairs infront of everyone in your bathing suit. I wish there were robes in the rooms.The towels at the pool were small and shabby looking and very rough on the skin. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful and the location is near many restaurants and attractions. I would definitely stay there again.

Room was outdated, looks dirty, cigarette burns in bathroom shelf, old food on fridge, carpets dirty, worn out towels, door stopper in flier broken with ripped carpeting. Way to expensive and not worth the cost. Staff was friendly. I won’t go back.

Dirty smelly towels even when I asked for clean ones they were the same smelly towels The bed was squeaky kept me up all night. Toilet seat smaller that the toilet so half my leg was on the toilet bowl. Noisy AC. Dirty old carpet. Too expensive for that quality . Will not return here again. They need to upgrade this hotel. Restaurant was great.

The hotel is as basic as it gets. 1 elevator was broken during our entire stay and that ment waiting easily 10 mins for one each way. The balcony was old, with paint peeling off and not even a chair to sit out on. Quite different from the photos with a patio set.

The rooms at this property desperately need a refresh. The lobby and facilities are adequate, but the rooms (I have stayed in 3 different rooms recently) are shaggy and need improvement. All 3 rooms i stayed in had issues with the toilet, and shower temperature control/flow rate (I am picky about these facilities as I travel a lot, and I am a plumber by trade). Carpets were worn and loose/torn in some spots, walls and furniture showed signs or wear and damage. Beds were not great. I like Marriot and I have stayed at many Delta hotels accross the country, but it is doubtful I would stay at this property again, unfortunately.

The property was good but there are couple of things which were disappointing : 1) The bed in the room was very uncomfortable and not firm, I mean when one person is changing sides the whole bed was shaking bcoz the beds was not firm and made up of coils. That was very disturbing for me & my good night sleep. 2) The other thing I notice while have breakfast the other morning - the only attendant who was there to keep the tab of everyone and was also making sure that every dish in the breakfast buffet is refilled timely, she was also responsible for empty the trash bins timely and one time I saw her NOT WASHING / SANITIZING her hands before she directly took the tray from other hotel staff who was there to refill the bread. This was an hygiene issue and hotel staff should keep this basic hygiene things in mind before they handle food related things.

I was very disappointed that i did not get the room that i booked. They explained that they had issues with housekeeping. Instead of 2 queen beds i got the room with 2 single beds. The staff gave us a free parking for inconvinience and 10 dollars in Marriott points. I understand we got something for inconvenience, but why did we get charged for 2 days for a more expensive room, not the cheaper one they placed us in ??? This was disappointing from the hotel...

Our room wasn't ready at our arrival at 3:10pm despite check-in time being at 3pm. The staff tried to blame it on the busy-ness of the hotel, but I told them that's their problem, not mine. We took a smaller room just so I could get my 3 small children settled and out of the busy lobby. A verbal apology but no other recompense or discount offered

The Delta Montreal is centrally located and close to all downtown Montreal attractions like Chinatown, the Old Port and St. Catherine St. The rooms are starting to show their age but are still quite clean and acceptable. The staff were very courteous and professional. I would stay here again when visiting Montreal.

Enjoyed our stay at Delta hotels in Montreal. We were staying near McGill to help our daughter move back in her for her final year of school. This location was great and the hotel was well appointed and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We mainly ate along St. Laurent and Duluth, which was a convenient 15 minute walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Montreal and to McGill campus where we were dropping-off our daughter. The staff is extremally friendly and tries hard to accommodate. We will stay there again. I've had better breakfast buffets and better tasting coffee that can be improved.

The hosts of the restaurant was mean the service was bad and the Bar tender.....please don't even ask. The worst of the worst....the kitchen closes at 10pm I ask for the menu at 9:15 she hand me the cocktails menu, i asked her for a full menu she refuses and the kitchen closed at 10. Bad Very bad for a guest. Very old hotel, need a lot of renovation.

Breakfast was not free but reasonably priced for a buffet offering. There are many options nearby though if one wants to save the 30/-. The only aspect that i would point out is the pillows were overly soft and cushy. Maybe mix up with one hard and one soft pillow.
