Lo que no es lógico, es que haya pocos lugares de estacionamiento para los huéspedes y ese estacionamiento es público. Nosotros apartamos habitación con un estacionamiento y al llegar al hotel nos dicen que ya no hay lugares de estacionamiento. El mismo estacionamiento ya en ese lugar lo quieren cobrar a $300 pesos el día en el lugar no en el hotel. También querían cobrar 4 días y nuestra estancia fue de 3 noches y la encargada decía que se contaba a partir de las 12 hrs del día en que llegábamos y aunque saliéramos temprano quería cobrar 4 días de $300 pesos. Finalmente el Hotel arreglo ese asunto y sólo pagamos $200 pesos por noche. Además en la habitación, en dos noches se tuvo que reportar a recepción no había agua caliente, después de las llamadas se soluciono el problema. b Que pena estos detalles, porque el hotel esta muy bonito.

The description of the room is a bit misleading as there is no courtyard directly attached to the room, it's an interior courtyard throughout the hotel. The bathroom window opens up to this area with no screen so that means bugs can get in. There is no elevator, so accessibility is an issue. The hotel restaurant was superb, however it closes early.

This is hotel is a great spot near so many restaurants and bars, which is great because traffic can get bad. The staff are polite and professional, who will greet you whenever you enter and exit the hotel. I didn't have any issues with the room, so I didn't have to contact the staff. The room is nice and spacious, but the beds are really firm, so please be aware, but I was still able to get a good night's sleep. The housekeeping staff are also really quick, we stepped out for breakfast and came back to the room an hour later expecting them to still be cleaning, but they were done and the room was spotless. I will definitely try to book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Parador Del Dominico. We loved the beautiful courtyard and the helpful, friendly staff. The room was clean with two large beds and plenty of space to move around and store our belongings. Nice sink area, and spacious shower and toilet. We appreciated the programmable safe in the closet, and the water cooler in the hall, providing safe drinking water whenever we needed it without creating plastic bottle waste. We ordered the breakfast offered through Expedia which turned out to be a “US American” breakfast with coffee or tea, fresh fruit, bread and eggs with bacon or ham and accompanying salsas. The restaurant was open from 7am to 5pm, enabling us to eat before heading out on tours. The area surrounding included restaurants, parks and shops. It’s a two-block walk to the Ethnobotanical Gardens and the Cultural Museum. The main tourist shopping area runs south of the botanical gardens. We enjoyed tours with Oaxaca by Locals which was 2-3 blocks from the hotel. I would have preferred a nicer view, and recommend calling the hotel with any preferences. The air conditioning was nice. We did not open the windows because they did not have screens. The hotel staff helped us in many ways, including arranging our 4:30 am cab back to the airport.

Could be a great 3 star property except for 3 things: the bed was pretty hard, but thats not uncommon with this type of property. The deal breakers for me were the shower and the internet. The shower is unusable; if you put any hot water at all, it is scalding- even with almost full cold it is still scalding. The internet is also unusable- you can't send, receive or do anything with it at all. Both of these things are in full control of the hotel to address, but it apparently isn't a priority. That said, I won't be back because of them, which is too bad, because it has a great location and good staff.

This hotel is a gem. Courteous staff, clean, quaint, and quiet in the middle of a vibrant city. The courtyard is charming, and our room was clean, bright, stylish, and well-furnished. The shower pressure was great (first floor). The beds are extremely firm, and my only feedback would be for the owners to upgrade to less firm mattresses for the long-term.

Location and price offer amazing value. Yoou hear everything from the courtyard and mosquitos get in through the bathroom window that can not be fully closed. Honestly still hard to beat for the price and location. Staff is good too. Never had a problem have stayed multiple times. Recommend asking beforehand in your reservation for a room on the second floor. Third has weak water pressure

We enjoyed a lovely stay here, taking advantage of the organised tours on offer. The room had everything that we needed, and friendly helpful staff. I especially appreciated the access to readily available hot water for making morning teas, even if it was just outside our room. Would highly recommend and Oaxaca itself has much to offer.

Great hotel at a great location. They checked us in at 10 PM which is very rare i Mexico. Super friendly staff, they speak good english and arranged a taxi to the airport for us at 6 AM.

Lovely little hotel in a WONDERFUL location. Staff is all very kind and friendly, the restaurant serves DELICIOUS homey food, and our room was very charming and cozy. The property is also squeaky clean. The location could not be better. The hotel is in a more quiet and out of the way corner but still in the heart of everything, and within a 5-10 min walk of some of the best food, bread, specialty coffee, and shopping in Oaxaca.

Everything on the property is beautiful! The only down thing is they can use new towels for the rooms. Enough hot water, good pressure . Restaurant with good food and reasonable prices! We will come back to this hotel for sure!
