We were not notified prior to check-in that the hotel was undergoing renovations which had closed their pool and gym facilities. We are travelling with children so this was extremely disappointing. A simple email to make us aware would have been appreciated. We would have booked elsewhere.

Pros: Great hotel, very clean, bed and bedding are comfortable, good location, staff at the cafe/bar were very friendly, pool and gym are convenient, rooms are soundproof except for the outside noise Cons: Parking is not included 40$/night, our room was on level 2 directly on the street and could hear everything at night, a lot of homeless people in the area

Disappointed that had to pay for EV charging in addition to daily parking fee. At hotels we’ve stayed at in the past, the daily fee includes EV charging. This was not communicated at check in when I inquired about chargers so when we got to the spot, had to quickly load the app and add funds before we could use it.

We have an absolutely outstanding stay. Our flight got in early and they were able to accommodate an early check in which they didn’t have to. Great location right in the centre of the Byward market Area, with lots of great restaurants and opportunities to explore. Very close walking distance to Parliament as well as other great local attractions and museums. Excellent pool and fitness Center as well for us to use

This hotel is located right in the heart of the Ottawa Byward Market area. The staff and service is great, but the showers are a little dirty (ours had a previous guests hair still stuck to the wall and the pool deck area is covered in mildew. One important thing to know about this property is that PARKING IS NOT INCLUDED when you book through Expedia. Depending on the time of year there will not be spaces available and if there is, it’s about $37.00 a night for parking. The place is surrounded by vagrant drug users, so you’re going to need secure parking, or else don’t leave anything in your vehicle.

This was our first trip to Ottawa and this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were newly renovated and very clean. Location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Ottawa.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was a great temperature and the smaller kiddie pool was nice for our younger kids. The location is great - walking distance to lots of attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We’re right across from the elevator and it’s awfully loud. Room is not soundproofed well as we can also hear the noisy street from inside. Other that, staff are friendly, and we appreciate the amenties. Byward market is very close. Lots of options for dining. Location can’t be beat.

Sound proofing isn't excellent. Bcos it is near Byward Market, there's noise and music from the street. And you can hear those from the room. TV internet wasnt working. Technician came in to check and said it is the whole floor affected. But wasnt recovered after 1st night stay

The room was decent and bed and pillows comfy. The in-room fridge was making an awful noise so I figured out how to turn it off. Also, I didn’t realize the room faced York Street, which was loud outside until 10.30 pm. I would have preferred and interior room. I had some trouble with the WiFi and card key but the staff was kind and helpful. Finally, hotel rooms are expensive! It’s hard to believe that from check-in at 7pm until departure the next morning that a sleep & shower is $300. I will be looking for more affordable options next time.

Beautiful room in the heart of downtown. Very comfortable bed, thick towels, water was hot and plentiful and room was quiet. Would definitely return here for a longer stay to visit the area.

Rooms are comfortable and a good size. Kurig Coffee machine with pods was a nice touch. Location is close to restaurants, ByWard market, Parliament buildings and walking trails along the Ottawa River. Left car parked the whole time and walked everywhere. Indoor swimming pool is a bonus.

The staff actually accommodated us for an early check in, which was totally unexpected. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to most of the Tourist Attractions. Nice added touch of having afternoon snacks of cookies. Very friendly front end staff.

This hotel is the perfect location? Walking distance to all the major attractions. Right next to the byward market. And Pablo (I believe was his name at the front desk) went above and beyond to accommodate me for an early check in. Pleasant stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Upon our arrival we weren’t helped with our luggage and check in was abrupt. The lack of help was evident when I asked about Starbucks they told me they had one inside the hotel NOT What they had was a machine that made coffee when I asked for an actual Starbucks no one would help me.meanwhile there was a couple of Starbucks close with in meters of the hotel. Wasn’t informed of the underground parking.The remote for the TV didn’t work had to unplug the TV TO TURN IT OFF.All in all would never book again. Was very disappointed. We stayed at the Marriott on Kent Street it was amazing 4 stars easy

When I arrived I had problems getting parking at the adjacent parking lot. The staff, Pedro was very sympathetic and got me to move my car into hotel parking. Turns out I was being frauded by the adjacent parking lot. Best sleep in a long time

We had a blessed stay in the Hotel. Location was perfect for a short stay. All interested points are around and we could easily walk to all of the interested sightseeings. Parking was super smooth and w/o any issues. We felt save and the room was also nice and clean. We can fully recommend this hotel for a short stay in Ottawa.

Very clean and great size room. This made up for everything else. TV was not easy to manage, no instructions on where to find the pool or gym. The food was ok but not worth cost.

Excellent location! We arrived late at night and the staff was wonderful ensuring that we checked in quickly and comfortably. The room was newly renovated and spotless. Breakfast at the Bistro in the morning was delicious and again, the staff was amazing. We will return!
