Parking was a nightmare. Not only was there an additional charge for parking, but pickup trucks don’t fit in the hotel underground. That’s information that would have been good to have before booking.

The hotel was spacious and nice. The rooms were clean in the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This hotel is located in downtown Ottawa and you are able to walk too many places from there. The only criticism I have is with the parking parking is $25 a day in a parking garage that’s beside it and the parking garage has very low ceilings and it is very tight.

The check in and staff were excellent and both my room and my sister’s room were very clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights and made use of the gym and pool, both of which were also quite decent. I will say, the workout room was quite hot, but other than that, it was a great stay. The hotel is nicely situated and within walking distance of the parliament and Byward Market.

The gym’s AC doesn’t work and it get hot, they’ve had a fan but is not enough. The room’s AC was noisy and wasn’t cooling properly. Always appreciate the complimentary EV charging stations, that’s a big selling point for me.

I like this hotel for its location. It's downtown but not right in the heart of everything. They have a lovely bar and restaurant and I like their swimming pool. They don't have a hot tub but the pool room is nice and heated so I don't mind. Would stay here again

The hotels location is amazing. so close to great attractions and great restaurants. My first room was not very clean, food and drinks spilt on the wall from previous guests. The vent in the bathroom looked like it had never been clean since the hotel opened. which was pretty gross. My rooms furnace wasn't working the night I checked in. It was - 27 outside my room was a frigid 15 degrees. The next day maintenance came and tried to fix the issue but couldn't. Their solution was to put a tiny spot heater beside my bed. I requested a room change.

The hotel was sub par. The front desk staff were nice. However, I was assigned a room that someone else was already in, so embarrassing. When we got assigned a new room it smelt like urine. Other then these mishaps the room was clean, and updated.

room was clean, staff were nice. There was a very strong perfume smell in the room, not sure if it was an air freshener (though I looked and couldn't find one) or from a previous guest. Could definitely have done without that. If we had been there for more than one night it would have been an issue.

The rooms are very small. While they appeared clean, the shower still had hair in it from the last visitor. The mattress was so hard it was uncomfortable and completely ruined our stay. This was not a budget hotel and was booked hoping accommodations would be comfortable. It’s not fun waking up sore and tired . The bedding was far from luxury that you’d expect at a Hilton property. No duvet, just a cheap thin comforter. There was NO housekeeping service. We leave for the day and come back hoping at minimum the bed is made, but unfortunately this didn’t happen. At $250 a night this should be the minimum. Will not stay at this location again! Better off in an Air B&B

Staff was great. We had dinner at your hotel restaurant and it was great. Servers were very friendly . Was a good week-end getaway. In room washrooms, check the air vents for build up on dust/dirt.

Within walking distance to many attractions. Nice room. Friendly staff. My only complaint is the room fan blows air into face when sleeping. The rooms are not very sound proof and we were disturbed by people in the hallway and neighbouring room on several occasions while sleeping.

Great location and nice staff. Can’t speak about the other rooms but our king room on the 10th floor had an old mattress that was not comfortable. We thought about asking for a room change, but it was late already and we had to be up early. Also, don’t charge customers 2$ for bottles of water displayed in the room. That is beyond greedy when you can’t offer guests a free 50 cent bottle of water. On a more positive note - staff super friendly and nice.

The room was standard fare for downtown Ottawa. Check in was incredibly slow and frustrating. Lots of construction around so it felt dirty going outside, but overall it was what I expected.

I've stayed at this property a few times now, and always have a pleasant stay. The double queen room was very nice, and a very comfortable space to share for three of us. This is a bit quieter part of down town, so if you're looking to be RIGHT in the action, you'll perhaps leave disappointed. But I love how close you are to amenities while still enjoying a bit of peace. HUGE shoutout to the front desk staff -- they are truly amazing at their jobs!

Horrible management. Check-in took 45 minutes. We were second in line. One person was there to check-in guests on a Saturday night - the front desk man was SO nice but poorly trained - rooms weren't ready by 9pm ( check-in was at 4pm) Manager charged me twice, a week later I still have not been refunded. Lovely hotel, nice room, great breakfast but the service was atrocious.

I reserved and prepaid in full a room with king sized bed and they did not honor my reservation and gave be a room with 2 smaller beds because i did not check in early enough (i checked in before 11pm on a Saturday)!!!!??? Then my room had k-cups in it for coffee but no coffee machine…anyway, quite disappointed and do not recommend as I find this way of doing business quite unprofessional

Conserve staff were very nice and helpful; the restaurant however was pathetic-overpriced and poor portions, and the buffet breakfast was no better than a motel. Condiments, syrup and milk were on short supply, and no fruit offered at all-I expect better for 23 dollars. Will not return

Déjeuner TRÈS ordinaire, pas digne d'un Hilton et surtout ne vaut pas ce prix. Pas de fruits frais coupés, pas de fromage, pas de condiments de base genre du miel! Et le jus d'orange est un mélange avec de l'eau vraiment artificiel. Peu de service pour remplir plats de service qui étaient souvent vide et tout le monde se dépêche à prendre de la vaisselle, car il en manquait toujours!

Room was lovely, only a soaker tub would have made it that much better. Staff went above and beyond and fave us a room with a beautiful view of the river/war museum and all the pretty christmas lights in between. The buffet breakfast is a bit costly as it seemed to be a regular continental breakfast offered for free at other hotels.

All the staff we interacted with went above and beyond, especially the man who checked us in. It was very busy when we arrived and our room wasn't quite ready but he really made us feel welcome, and got us into our room as quickly as possible. I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn location and found everything from staff to facilities to parking underground to getting around very enjoyable. The only thing that they should improve on is the time for breakfast. I came down at 9:30am and was told that they no longer serve breakfast. I was shocked and went across to Delta hotel for breakfast for both the days I was there. They should serve breakfast until at least 10:30am.

Hotel was wonderful. We were very disappointed in the food. Went down for breakfast and chose the $25p/person buffer to find all the hot food stone cold, several of the items were empty and nobody filled it the 45min we were there. Long line ups for waffle machine and it was burnt on outside and raw in middle. I spoke to the hostess and she told me there was nothing she could do. We paid $85 for 3 of us for breakfast and ate cold food, leaving most of it on our plate.
