Parking clearance does not accommodate larger vehicles. Picked this hotel because of its underground parking and couldn't use it. Booked for breakfast add on and wasn't given the voucher but front staff cleared it up quickly.

Il n’y avait pas de piscine malgré l’affiche de celle ci . On nous a dit depuis plusieurs années déjà. Fourmis dans la chambre. Bruyant, travaux de démolition à l’extérieur. Stationnement payant exagéré. Très déçu pur le prix de notre escapade 576$ gaspillage tant qu’à moi. J’aurais été ailleurs pour le même prix.

Given your parking garage was not accessible due to renovations and valet parking was the only option per hour staff, you shouldn’t have charged for the valet parking particularly given we had to walk with the attendant to get our car the one day because there was as such a backlog. Also, luggage trolley was left unattended on the uneven sidewalk. It rolled and tipped and hit my niece in her head.

I enjoyed my stay, but the current parking issue was very bothersome, with no underground and valet working around the clock. I was told to call down to ask for my car 15 minutes prior to me leaving, but there was no answer. When I went to the front lobby, I had to wait over 20 minutes for my car.

Unfortunately the pool is closed and wont reopen. It was a great pool. The bathrooms are dated and overall the hotel is not up to Sheraton standards anymore.

Hotel is conveniently located downtown but rooms need updating. Parking is also an issue as you do not have access to your car. It has to be valet to another location off site and there is always a wait time to get your car back.

Le site de réservation nous a induit en erreur, nous avons selectionné cet emplacement avec deux critères : piscine & stationnement. À notre arrivée, nous ne pouvions utiliser le stationnement car il etait "trop haut". La piscine est FERMÉE depuis plusieurs années apparemment... nous ne sortons pas souvent et aurions pu aller dormir chez de la famille gratuitement mais voulions profiter de la piscine et du centre-ville d'ottawa.... c'est un voyage décevant et une très mauvaise expérience avec EXPEDI.CA, probablement la dernière

The room was in wonderful shape and very clean. Smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube and Prime video. Staff were outstanding and friendly. Breakfast was yummy and had plenty of options at the buffet. Our room was right near the elevator but we didnt hear it at all throughout the night. By far, my favourite hotel so far.

The hotel was in good and clean condition. Staff was friendly in the limited interactions. Room was clean and above average in size. Bathroom was also clean, shower pressure was good. The only thing I can complain about is the size of the shower towels. Would stay again if I should ever need to go back to Ottawa.

Things that should have been mentioned at time of booking: No room service or restaurant because kitchen is going through renovations. Garage is going through renovations as well. They have valet but it’s very slow had to wait 45mins to get my car. But disorganized. Car is parked a couple blocks away so if you need it or something from it you wait for valet person to get it. TV and Safe didn’t work and maintenance person wasn’t around til next day. Fridge didn’t work and food left in it was then went off. Room had a bit of a stale smell and there was a lot of dust, and (what I hope to be) cherry pits around the base of the bed. These things said at least the staff are very friendly. The area is completely walkable and many sites close by. Probably wouldn’t book at this hotel again though. Pricey for what is offered or for what ain’t being offered. - would have liked to know of renovations when booking, probably would have boomed elsewhere.

We stayed on the tenth floor but the noise from traffic was horrible - tunneling up between buildings. Hard to get a decent nights sleep. Also the condition of the room was outdated and also very small - like a studio, which was unexpected and lended no privacy. Our room was next to the elevator and the door opened to the whole space - very abnormal configuration.

The hotel is at a very good location in Ottawa, convenient to most of the popular places. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: the decoration is a little old (but it is very clean), and its air conditioning is a little noisy (but not impact sleeping).

If you stay on back part of the property near Connor street you will be subject to constant noise from mechanicals outside the hotel. Not too bad if you adore the sound of mechanical white noise but if you are a light sleeper... beware!

Great location in downtown Ottawa. The room was decent in size. The TV allowed streaming so it was great for the kid. It would be more amazing if a small electric aater kettle and a better coffee machine was provided. Generally very happy with the stay

The hotel was right in the middle of the city. It was very close to the parliament building which was our main purpose of the stay. Easy check in and out. Well kept property. The only downside is it didn’t have a microwave for heating snacks for the kids.

The property is ancient. Customer service at the front desk is poor. As requested online booking for a king size bed room but they offered a queen size bed room without explanation. Besides, I spoke to the front desk staff in person requesting housekeeping to clean up my room on the following day. Unfortunately, there was no housekeeping service for clean up the room over three nights Hence, it made me upset.

They checked my wife and I in and when I got to the room, I opened the door on another guest and his half-naked wife. The staff had checked two sets of guests into the same room. When we went back to the desk, after embarrassing the poor woman and humiliating me, they offered an apology and fobbed us off with free parking and a breakfast. I'll be contacting head office to file a formal complaint. Don't stay here.

My experience here has been quite unpleasant due to the mandatory valet parking. We drove to the hotel as directed by the map, but the underground parking gate wouldn’t open because we had to wait for a valet to take the car. This arrangement seemed to give one of the valets an inflated sense of “authority “, he was very rude when I asked questions, then decided to let the car behind us enter first and simply left us waiting there. He clearly doesn’t think his job there is to provide good services.

Great hotel but it seems like the downtown core has taken a bit of a nose dive. Repeatedly told by locals that it’s not as safe in the area as it once was. Nothing the hotel can do about this though. Facilities were totally fine.

I booked this hotel and specifically the "Exe utive Level" room because of the access to the Club Lounge . It was advertised as serving a breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres as well as bar service . Upon check-in , I was informed that all food and drink options were only available in the restaurant in the lobby area. I was given vouchers for the breakfast buffet which in all fairness was quite decent . They also had some food in the evening which was mediocre at best. Egg rolls and noodles one night , Meatballs , pizza and canneloni the next night . A Manhattan cost me $20 !! I've been in lounges at several hotels and enjoy the upgraded experience and willing to pay for it , which I did . Although the lounge was accessible to me , there was nothing there other than some soft drinks , a few snack items and a coffee machine . It was essentially deserted . Blaming it on Covid is getting a little thin this far out from the actual pandemic . Sheraton Ottawa badly needs to update their information to accurately reflect what guests can expect and then let them decide if it's worth paying extra or not .

Location was excellent,the staff was excellent especially the Breakfast greeters and the staff refilling the food containers. However, the hotel is in the midst of renovations; the pool was closed and the restaurant was only offering a very limited selection of meals.
