Good location, directly at the beach, close to the Malecón. Just very limited parkinglots available. Just 2 drinks per person at once and just in their cups - they won’t fill any cooler or anything else and if you want to bring drinks to some friends, they need to be with you. Beach is quite crowded in the afternoons. Food selection is very limited. Quality of the food is okay. We eat 2 dinners outside during a 4 night stay.

This was a great property - an all adult side of hotel with own pool/bar/restaraunt overlooking the ocean - no access for the all inclusive/family side. If you dont want to be around dozens of screaming kids in a crowded pool book the adult side. I found my new PV hotel for return trips. Staff was responsive and friendly

Great hotel awesome pool BUT the guy in charge is HORRIBLE believe the bad reviews! Lots of pool chairs free which should not happen BUT this guy is beyond militant about moving chairs and 1 towel no exchange? He is a creepy weird guy always chatting up the young women! He plays LOUD WAY TOO LOUD MUSIC so people hate it at the pool. Ruined the entire time there!

This is our 3rd weeklong stay at Delfin PV. Excellent location. We have always stayed in the Adults Only Section of the Hotel as I feels those rooms give the best views of the Pier and beach. Pool was well maintained, waitstaff at pool and beach are attentive and housekeeping was understanding of when we needed to sleep in and sleep it off. Delfin PV is in great proximity to all the preferred dining spots in Zona Romantica and walking distance to the LGBT nightlife. Staff are respectful of diversity and inclusive at the same time. We are hoping to go back in June 2025.

Great location on the beach. Walkable to everything. Shower drain backed up all 6 days. No hot water 2 of 6 days. Otherwise property was well kept. Room was clean.

The rooms were in bad shape, smelled moldy, signs of black mold on the walls around the bathroom in multiple areas. Beds were old and worn out, and linens, sheets, and towels were old. No amenities in the room. The lighting in the room was poor, and the overall decor looked like it had not been upgraded since 1980. The photos on Hotels.com website were gross misrepresentations of the room. Never again.

The property could use some work. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and it felt very stuffy. The wifi only worked on the first floor and there were only 2 lamps to light the room. However, the staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the beach access.

I stayed in the adult only side. The room had great views of the ocean. Cleaning staff refreshed room daily if needed and gave 2 water bottles for coffee or for drinking needs. Bed came with 4 large pillows my only complaint was the bed was hard as a rock, it was a hard spring mattress with maybe a 2in foam on top which didnt help. I didnt mention it to staff but if anyone is expecting a fluffy bed beware of the beds. The adult pool staff were attentive to bringing you drinks and food if needed. If you go to the beach they have chair and umbrella rentals. The location of this hotel was great near many restaurants and vendors nearby.

We stayed in the adult only tower. All rooms in that tower are large with a king bed and sofa (bed) and all have balconies and windows looking out at the bay and the sail pier. Close to lots of our favorite Romantic zone restaurants.

This property is exceptionally located by the beach but it’s not adults only. They have one row of rooms that are but the rest of the hotel is full of noisy, screaming kids. They were out all hours of the night. If you want peace and quiet; don’t stay here.

Great location, this time i stayed in the standard room.it didn't have wifi. My first room had about a 22" tv and no refrigerator. I asked for another room with a larger tv.they gave me another room .so i suggest not staying in the stanard room.the staff was great,and they have a good manager

Great location and comfortable bed. Poor noise insulation however. Thankfully we had a white noise machine to help us sleep but noise from the hallway and waterfront crowds was loud and distracting. Safe initially didn’t work but staff was helpful and promptly resolved the issue. Great stay, maybe request a room on a higher floor.

I hurt my hip and told them that I would be leaving 2 days early and wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t be paying for the nights I wouldn’t be there. I was told that it wasn’t a problem so I went ahead and changed my airline ticket. The next day when I went to check out they said they would not credit me and charged me for the two nights. The women at the desk said she told me that she said I needed to check with my agent, What agent! I was really upset and just left. If I had to pay for the two nights I would have just stayed there. I was lied to and I don’t think your agency should deal with this property.

I loved everything about this hotel. We had a front ocean view room and it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. When we arrived we met Berta. She’s wonderful. Samual and Jameer (spelling?) at the pool were awesome and so was everyone else. I wish I knew their names but many employees were not wearing name tags. Would love to come back next year!

Loved the location and have stayed here twice. I highly recommend the adults only building junior suite. I did have one issue this time, after spending a week at the hotel and spending/tipping there, I was shocked to find out they charged us $500MX for the loss of one of our card keys…….ridiculous (and they weren’t nice about it). If it wasn’t for the poor service at checkout we would have rated them better.

Clean room. Great and friendly crew. Only problem is that they did not give us the room we reserved and on top of that they were blaming on us until I show them the reservation. It ended up they were overbooked. That explained “the mistake”….

The property is older, hence the reasonable price, but they are renovating and keeping up the older rooms while they do that. The location is absolutely perfect if you love people watching, walking everywhere, beach and the Malecon! Being in Zona Romantica was fun - we loved it!

Older hotel, but located right on the Muerto Beach in the Romantic Zone. Our room in the adult only tower faced the ocean and the famous sail pier. Adult only pool below us was not crowded. Located close to many of our favorite restaurants.

Great view, easy access to many restaurants, pharmacies,and OXXO right next door. At night I listened to the sound of rolling ocean waves, and no other unpleasant noise, like traffic or after hours party noise. If the doors to balcony and ocean view are closed, there is no noise at all. The cleaning staff was very friendly and responsive. All in all , a very pleasant stay. I will come back, and refer others as well.

Buenas instalaciones, la habitación al parecer está recién remodelada y se ve en muy buenas condiciones. Bonita vista, personal amable. El restaurante es muy chico y no tiene mucha variedad en comidas, pero eso sí, tienen buen sazón. Estaría excelente que hubiera clima ya que solo tiene ventilador y la verdad si era incómodo estar comiendo con calor y sudando. Tienes de vista el muelle de playa los muertos al estar comiendo o bañando en la alberca. En general es buena opción.

This All Inclusive resort fell short in several ways. The food was terrible, necessitating frequent dining out. Additionally, the lights in our room kept flickering on and off throughout our stay. The air conditioning unit couldn’t keep the room cool, so we had to request a floor fan for assistance. Furthermore, the resort strictly prohibited guests from inviting family or friends into their rooms at any time. Violating this rule resulted in an additional charge to the guest’s hotel bill.

You have to walk through the Restaurant to access the pool. The staff was really rude the bar had no choice and slow. $28 US for some crappy nachos and all their food prices are higher that any place in Puerto Vallarta. Spent the rest of our vacation look for the next place to book for next year.

We knew we were getting a cheaper resort but this one really is one to avoid. The food is particularly terrible, almost like they went out of their way to make it plane and off unfortunately. The staff was kind, but there were so many stipulations and rules - they wouldn't run ice to the room, nor was a hairdryer provided automatically, you had to go to the front desk for everything. It felt quite unclean in the eating area and often birds would be picking at left over dishes outside. It was cheaper than the surrounding area as far as all inclusives go, but we ended up eating out all the time anyway.

Exactly what we needed. We aren’t fancy resort people and wanted to be at the beach around the locals. This location was perfect. We could walk everywhere. The hotel was clean , they are renovating but it didn’t disturb us at all. The staff were very friendly! We had read bad reviews and were a little nervous but had such an amazing time. The food was good and we ate out at a few local restaurants as well. The beach is very busy but we didn’t spend much time there. Beautiful none the less. The pier was beautiful and everything is very lively at night. Our room was the standard room with two double beds. One bed was hard but the other was fine. We would definitely stay here again. Overall a clean , basic all inclusive hotel.
