Food was horrible. Mexican food and Japan restaurant were horrible. Free drink areas were understaffed. Spent more time waiting for drinks than enjoying than a night club. No internet in the rooms. Would have to leave room to use phone to check on family or just check emails. Drink machines were down most of the time. Hot tub in main pool was not working. They allowed smoking everywhere outside even in the common areas. No free shuttle to the airport.

The casino and discoteca was closed. The champagne isn’t included. In the room not including coffee, safe, iron for clothes. We have to paid for all. That is inaceptable. They have only one buffet. I love to traveling Punta Cana all inclusive but , I not recommend this hotel.

I liked the evening entertainment, especially the Dominican Night and the Circus. The Tappanyaki restaurant gave us good food and a fun night. The room maid was very good and friendly. The room was clean, well lighted, and comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and maintained well. There are three swimming pools, one was very noisy with a party atmosphere, but the other two were quiet and much more enjoyable for me. The Fitness Center was clean and had a variety of weights, treadmills, and weight machines.

Easy to get to and from the airport. The ride is about 20 or so minutes in a safe part of town. Property was well-maintained. Pool zones were clean. Staff is very friendly. I had VIP status and had better consistent Wi-Fi with that package as well as oceanfront room literally less than 200 feet from the beach. Room comes with mini fridge and water, beer and soda. All included. Our room with a King bed was spacious with a daybed and balcony, but could use some more lighting in the bathroom. It felt like you were in the dark all of the time. Would be better if they improved activities during the day. As there is nothing organized to do such as yoga, aquacize, group games or even nightclub dancing. They do offer two variety shows during the week, but nothing else really to do on other nights after dinner. The resort is best for retirees or families. Buffet service is good with lots of variety however, their punches and drinks are all made with syrup, overall very nice facility if you are just looking for sun and beach. The beach coastline is beautiful. However, the property’s beach has suffered massive erosion and will be gone within 1 to 2 years. Lastly, the spa is beautiful clean and serene. Definitely worth going to get a service done. They offer a full menu of treatments. I had a neck and back massage. That was wonderful. I recommend this property and would stay there again.

We loved our destination/resort. Our rooms was clean, and we stayed in the VIP area, which was absolutely fantastic. Our accommodation's were all we hoped they could be. The advertised hot tubs were not hot just pools with bubbles and the food was terrible. We took care of the staff each day but we were there for 9 days and were only permitted to book dinner 4 out of the 9 days. We would love to recommend Vista Sol, but we were get dissatisfied with the food.

Very clean, well maintained grounds. Buffet had a good variety. The optional restaurants were good. The staff work incredibly hard and keep everything running smoothly. Only issue was trying to find loungers either at the pools or beach. There are plenty, but people save these, and may be gone for hours, leaving a shortage of places to sit. Experienced this several times and was disappointing. Otherwise this is a very pretty and well maintained resort. This was our second time there.

Es un hotel muy hermoso y natural y con excelentes comodidades. La playa es muy limpia y amplia. Los restaurantes muy buenos y la comida del buffet muy básica pero rica.Una sugerencia es que debería haber más puestos para las toallas de playa. Por las noches hay distintos shows. First stayed at this property in 2012 and liked it very much. It was beautifully landscaped and various types of tropical flowers always seemed to be in bloom. The peacocks were a nice touch too. We went back twice before Covid. This stay was our fourth, and best. This time even more plants were flowering. The lawns were lush green and the palm trees and pine trees are probably 70 feet tall now, providing shade when you want it. There is an abundance of pathways to enjoy walks. The paths are lighted and security is present around the campus. Beach chairs and towels are readily available. Pizza, burgers, and snacks are available at the beach, as well as soft drinks, coffee, and a full bar. The beach has been protected by a sea wall and a lovely pier has just been built. No beach erosion at this resort. There is plenty of room to lounge in the sun as well as in the pleasant pine grove just off the beach. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and there are many English speakers among staff. The rooms are cleaned daily, public spaces are constantly cleaned. The three pools are clean and inviting. There is regular entertainment each night at 9:30 PM and preceding that, there is a children's program at the theatre. The buffet is great, with great variety and delicious food. There are options to eat in several specialty restaurants as well. This property is our little piece of heaven.

Propreté et état de la chambre : Chambre insalubre avec des dégâts des eaux causant une flaque d’eau constante dans la douche. Malgré un signalement à la réception, aucune action n’a été prise. Présence de cafards dans la chambre et même dans l’un des restaurants. Restauration : Offre alimentaire limitée, avec une prédominance de porc, rendant le choix très restreint pour les personnes ayant des restrictions alimentaires. Ces conditions ne sont pas dignes d’un établissement 4 étoiles et correspondent davantage à un niveau 2 ou 3 étoiles. The property in pictures is one thing when you get there it’s another. Service is horrible I got there at 11 am and did not give me the room until 5pm while people that got there after me were getting their room. Finally got the room it was dirty, towels look like they’re pee stained of how yellow they are. Bathroom is full of mold everywhere. Loud construction right in front of the room started making noise at 7am on the dot.

I like about how the guys behind the counter , bar food truck try their best to keep up with the visitors.. they work the hardest to make it happen.. I didn’t like the way they manage the hygiene of the place , the restaurant and bars.. a lot of mosquito out of control . Came back with a lot of mosquitos bites. Plus they don’t refill the coffee or refrigerator on a day by day basic only when you get in..I wasn’t sure if to stay or just leave at one point I was ready to cancel everything and leave the place .. great job by Ignacio, Steve, dairy, and the security personal ..

The exterior and entretament areas were in good condition, the shows and entretament team are really friendly and welcoming. But the rooms are really old, the furniture,blankets. Poor cleaning you can see moods in the shower door, the bathtub keeps clogged and the whole room strong smell of mold. The buffet food is repetitive but good taste, difficult to get dinner reservation in the 4 good restaurant.

El check in es un proceso sumamente lento y caluroso, no ventila el aire bien. La habitación que me entregaron estaba sucia sin limpiar, específicamente el baño con mucha suciedad, cabellos e insectos. También habían muchos insectos en la habitación. La segunda habitación que me brindaron tampoco estaba correctamente limpia pero ya estaba muy desanimada de encontrar una limpia. La comida no tenía buen sabor o estaban mal preparadas y las bebidas tampoco tenían buen sabor. Solamente 1 día me agradó el buffet y el restaurante teppanyaki. La comida del food truck siempre estuvo buena. La cerveza Presidente y el agua es lo único que siempre me agradó. Toda la semana tuve que pedir comida a través de Uber eats. A veces en la propiedad y en la playa los vendedores pueden ser hostigadores lo cual incomoda tu estadía. Tienen buenas opciones de excursiones pero recomiendo verificar todas las alternativas para que compares los precios. También hay alternativas de transporte, verifiquen que sea confiable.

Beautiful hotel areas with many walking paths and long clean beach which I enjoyed with my family. There are ducks and peacocks walking freely around the property and people. They also have a little fenced and covered place for chickens and some kinds of birds, iguanas. The hotel room was a decent size but a little outdated (fresh painting would help) with door lock issues and mosquitoes every night (they flew in every time we entered/exited the room. The food in buffet was fresh but the choices of food were poor. However, the reserved restaurants had delicious food. The hotel staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The beach was clean and the water was warm, calm and clean mainly.

We wanted to keep an open mind since this was a cheaper resort. However, while trying to stay positive it became very difficult. Check-in took forever and staff was being rude to guests. We decided to walk over to guest services to book our dinner reservations since they don’t allow you to do it ahead of time. They were booked 2 nights out so we were stuck with the buffet for a few days. The food was AWFUL, it also wasn’t cohesive at all if you could find something good (ex: pasta, nachos and cheese with a side of watermelon). The biggest issue we had was a ton of mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. Obviously, this comes with being anywhere warm or near water. The problem was that our room was full of them as well so you would wake up with multiple bites. The drinks were good, however, there was a small list to choose from and anything not on it would cost extra. The only positives I can think of were that the circus show was awesome and we slept good every night. Other than that we only enjoyed our trip while we were on excursions and we were just ready to come home.

The grounds were impeccable, the staff were polite and helpful; that includes the maids, and any service staff that we encountered. The food was mediocre, but plentiful. The only complaints we had were with our room air-conditioner and tv. The air conditioner did not work well, it produced very moist air that had our room smelling of mildew constantly; and half of the tv channels did not work i.e. no audio with the channel, only picture. Overall it was economical, and a positive experience.

CONS: Smokers, heavy drinkers, loud music heaven. There is no wi-fi in rooms, so you need to go to the lobby and sit with smokers to check your emails. They are allowed to smoke there. When you eat, you sit in a dark area, so the only time you see your food is when you put it on your plate. If you want to go to a lighter spot, closer to outside ALL TABLES ARE for smokers. They eat and then light up a cigarette, and you inhale again. If the weather is windy, you need to spend time in your room; they will play loud music in the main swimming pool, to the point where you can feel vibrations on the wall. That’s how bad this place is. Not to mention hotel hallways, slamming doors, singing, and loud talking—all of this over and over and over, sometimes in the middle of the night. If you want to change rooms, they will tell you that it is the quietest building in which you are right now. Did I mention you can smoke in the whole beach area? YES! Once you check your email, eat, and have your lungs full of that stuff from other people, it's time to inhale some on the beach. With great wind, you can smell local cigars as well. PROS: Some food was good, like deserts, not that sugary like in other places in the world. But when I ate shredded carrots, they were tasteless, IN SUM. It’s the worst place I have ever been to. If you smoke, drink a lot, and have an IQ under 1000, then this place is for you.

I'm telling you this place is 10 out of 10 and everything was just amazing I've been to numerous all inclusives in the Dominican Republic this was the best price and not only the best price the best at everything it was just amazing. Jose in the front was great at checking in and Monica and guest services was also amazing the only thing I didn't like at all was having lines at the bar no one goes to a bar to wait online that's just ridiculous and also there is no ice machine anywhere on the property that's a little bit annoying also other than that it's just perfect in every way

We really enjoyed our stay, until we returned home and realized that cash, debit cards and credit cards had been stolen out of one our our wallets that was left in the room (inside of a closed backpack) while we were at the pool/beach. We recognized that it was our responsibility to make sure our valuables were locked up, so that was on us. HOWEVER, when we called the hotel to inform them of the situation (we were not expecting anything, we just wanted to alert them) we were hung up on 3 different times. We had strongly considered coming back, until this unfortunate discovery/lack of professionalism.

This resort needs a lot of improvements.The food was not good at all.The service was barely existent. And to top it all off we had to ask three times for shampoo and conditioners and one of the housekeeping lady’s said they have some at the store to buy since they don’t have some with them. And I can go on and on about this place but if it helps, Other people just do your research before you book your resort and be smart where you spend your money.

The private beach was my favorite part. Great spa experience. Also Super close to downtown. But For the most part, staff could be nicer. The food was pretty bad. We only ate at the hotel once during my whole trip. Lacked entertainment and EVERYTHING closes at 12 midnight. Be advised, the beds are very hard and lack comfort.

I enjoyed the wildlife and plants/ trees. Speaking Spanish is a must to communicate with the majority of the staff. I feel on checkin and check out was rushed and the checkout gentleman only wanted to hail me a taxi. Very hot and crowded and noisy in the buffet and restaurants at all times of the day. Also pools 3 beautiful ones were always busy. Do not sit at the edge of the beach closest to the water if you don’t want to attract multiple vendors and interruptions.

Resort bem estruturado, ótima localização, praia ótima, opções de refeição e bebidas ok. Ponto ruim é que os restarantes de jantar precisam agendar e há poucas vagas, então você não irá conseguir ter a experiencia de todos os restaurantes dependendo dos dias que estiver no local.

First stayed at this property in 2012 and liked it very much. It was beautifully landscaped and various types of tropical flowers always seemed to be in bloom. The peacocks were a nice touch too. We went back twice before Covid. This stay was our fourth, and best. This time even more plants were flowering. The lawns were lush green and the palm trees and pine trees are probably 70 feet tall now, providing shade when you want it. There is an abundance of pathways to enjoy walks. The paths are lighted and security is present around the campus. Beach chairs and towels are readily available. Pizza, burgers, and snacks are available at the beach, as well as soft drinks, coffee, and a full bar. The beach has been protected by a sea wall and a lovely pier has just been built. No beach erosion at this resort. There is plenty of room to lounge in the sun as well as in the pleasant pine grove just off the beach. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and there are many English speakers among staff. The rooms are cleaned daily, public spaces are constantly cleaned. The three pools are clean and inviting. There is regular entertainment each night at 9:30 PM and preceding that, there is a children's program at the theatre. The buffet is great, with great variety and delicious food. There are options to eat in several specialty restaurants as well. This property is our little piece of heaven.

Food was horrible. Mexican food and Japan restaurant were horrible. Free drink areas were understaffed. Spent more time waiting for drinks than enjoying than a night club. No internet in the rooms. Would have to leave room to use phone to check on family or just check emails. Drink machines were down most of the time. Hot tub in main pool was not working. They allowed smoking everywhere outside even in the common areas. No free shuttle to the airport.

The casino and discoteca was closed. The champagne isn’t included. In the room not including coffee, safe, iron for clothes. We have to paid for all. That is inaceptable. They have only one buffet. I love to traveling Punta Cana all inclusive but , I not recommend this hotel.

The first night the ac stopped working. They took a while to fix it. For three days they didn’t clean the room even though I gave them a tip. Upon leaving I asked for a late checked and they charged me which in USA they wouldn’t and they didn’t want to help me contact the taxi service I paid for. The drinks were the cheapest and so was the food. All inclusive means the cheapest stuff I wish I knew!

1. The room is unsanitary and the toiletries are very poor. 2. More importantly, our body has been bitten by dozens of red and swollen areas caused by bugs on the bed. 3. The food was not fresh. On the first night of dinner on 12/24/2024, I had rotten shrimp and had diarrhea at night. The next day, they used the remaining shrimp for grilling on an iron plate. I thought it was new shrimp, but I ate it and immediately spat it out because I tasted the rotten meat. 4.On the third day, I saw again that the remaining shrimp was used by them to make risotto. I tried, but it's still the rotten shrimp from the previous two days. 5. I'm scared, I can't believe they're using leftover food in different ways to reappear on the table. I can't believe it they use leftover food from other restaurants to serve to customers again in the self-service restaurant.

I think this is a good place for the cost. The water and beach are beautiful; I'm used to places in Mexico where there's lot of seaweed (kelp?) and rocks/coral in the water. Here, you can walk a loooong way on the beach, which is great. The staff is very friendly if you treat them like humans. The VIP room I was in had an incredible view of the beach, a private beach area with day beds and a private bar with better drinks than everyone else got. Everyone ate the same food, which our group agreed was ok tasting. The buffet is tastier than any of the specialty restaurants. They offer a few gluten-free bread choices. Again, an overall good value.

Me encantó este hotel. Fuimos en familia. Reservamos la habitación sencilla y el hotel estaba lleno, por lo que nos otorgaron una habitación vista al mar. El hotel es pequeño bien distribuido, lo que permite mayor disfrute porque los traslados entre áreas son cortos. Todos los días tienen una actividad para el disfrute familiar. La comida super variada. El food truck de la playa fue mi favorito y el desayuno del buffet diario es excelente. Cenamos en el tenpayaki una noche muy rico y divertido.

My family recently stayed at Vista Sol Punta Cana and overall, my experience was mixed. The hotel rooms are spacious and quite cold which my husband enjoyed. I did enjoy that the hotel was on the smaller side so that we didn’t have to walk miles to get to either the beach, pool or dining area. One aspect of my stay that was disappointing was the buffet. While the food was decent, I found that it was the same options day after day. For guests staying for an extended period of time, this could become monotonous. Additionally, I was not a fan of the main pool. It had a strange odor that reminded me of stinky feet, which was off-putting. It made me reluctant to spend much time there. I also wanted to mention my experience with the beach area. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite disappointing. There were a lot of pine needles scattered around, which made the area look unkempt and not very clean. It was not the picturesque beach setting I had hoped for. Furthermore, the layout of the beach area left much to be desired. The lounge chairs were all placed very close together, leaving little room for privacy or personal space. It felt crowded and cramped, with limited seating options available. This made it difficult to find a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the beach. Overall, I would say that Vista Sol is more of a hotel than a resort. If you are looking for a place where you will be catered to and have all of your needs taken care of, this may not be the best choice.

We loved our destination/resort. Our rooms was clean, and we stayed in the VIP area, which was absolutely fantastic. Our accommodation's were all we hoped they could be. The advertised hot tubs were not hot just pools with bubbles and the food was terrible. We took care of the staff each day but we were there for 9 days and were only permitted to book dinner 4 out of the 9 days. We would love to recommend Vista Sol, but we were get dissatisfied with the food.
