Very clean room and excellent location. In building gym and staff was super friendly and english speaking

This was a great stay for our family - spacious enough, so close to Myeongdong station - market, DMZ tour bus pick up, airport bus stop, so many great shops and restaurants. A perfect home base to explore from. The building itself feels a bit outdated, but not in a bad way. The only bad thing is that the workout room and sauna are for men only (!!) and it closes at 7pm. The cafe on the ground floor was a great place to have a slow morning. The rooms were clean and quiet and all you need in a hotel room. Overall, would stay there again... but they really need to modernize and make the workout room all genders.

Great location. Easy walking to all the Myeongdong attractions. We had the deluxe twin with a full size bed and a twin. The room was a good size with a long counter and bench seating around the perimeter. It was a nice setup. Unfortunately our AC did not work the first night and they were unable to get someone to fix it but did bring us a fan. When they still couldn’t get it fixed the next day they finally moved us to an upgraded room. Very thankful for that because that first night was hot! Loved that they had both EU and US plugs in the room. They do have self laundry in the basement but it is pricey… 15000 KRW per cycle so 30000 to wash and dry just one load.

Conveniently located near the train station and bus stops (including for airport bus). On the quieter side of Myeongdong. Twin suite on level 2 was comfortable with sufficient seating area. Bed and pillows were just the right firmness and i slept very well. Housekeeping ladies did a good job making up the room each day. Great that windows could be opened to let some fresh air in. However, the room had very dusty surfaces upon check in - all the tables and top of shelves super dusty. Also the entrance sensor-activated lights kept switching on and off at night - engineering helped to turn off the sensor. The sliding door to toilet and shower areas is transparent glass so perhaps the room is more suitable for couples. Gym is quite dated but had many equipment.

Convenient location with many Halal eateries just behind the hotel. 5 minutes walk across to Myeondong Street, and subway. 2 convenience stores just a minute walk from lobby. Has a self service laundry room at B1. Highly recommended and will be back again!

This is a great location for exploring Seoul. The subway (which is excellent and easy to use) is less than a block away. A large shopping area is about two blocks away and offers not only stores and restaurants, but a night market with food vendors. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The hotel staff were great at helping us plan our excursions and getting us a cab to the airport. The only drawback is there is no restaurant or bar. Breakfast is the only served meal. There is a convenience store on the block where we bought snacks. Many restaurants are close by.

部屋は綺麗で広くてよかったです。 明洞駅から近く便利なのと、大浴場があると口コミにあったので選びました。が、お風呂は男性だけで、時間も朝の7時から19時までの間しか入れないとのことだったので、その点は残念でした。 また、泊まりたいと思えるホテルでした。

Found out fr my husband who used the spa with charge and exclusive for men only.Location is safe and conveninent.Little bit noisy along the corridor when someone is talking or moving furnitures fr next room.Very clean hotel and easy check in and out.

This hotel was in a great location in Myeondong and is near the subway and all the shopping. The room was clean and the staff were very nice and personable as well! The only improvements I would say is the gym needs to be updated and there’s only a male sauna and no woman sauna. There was self service laundry which was a great bonus! Would stay here again!

Great location! Myeongdong shopping area is just across the road and there are many buses (including Airport Limousine Bus) that will connect you to other parts of Seoul. Room was clean and staff were very nice. Laundry facilities at Basement 1.

Clean room, nice staff & excellent location!! The subway station is within 1 minut walk, it’s practically in front of the hotel. Myeongdong market is right across the street. Here you are near most attractions! We loved it!

Very good hotel. I stayed 4 night. The room is always very clean and refilled bottle water. Easy to go shopping in myeongdong. I will stay this hotel when I visit to seoul! Thank you very much.

Would rate it a 3.5 or a 3.8, but rounded up. Pro's: Prime location, right at end of Myeongdong shopping district. Close to shop but far enough so not too crowded. Short walk out of exit 3 from Line 4 - literally can see hotel from the subway exit. Spacious room with fridge. Lobby has refillable cold water, ice, hot water and microwave if you want to heat up leftovers. Shower and sink water pressure is amazing (almost too painful at times). Also, free umbrella available to use by the entrance during rainy days - so don't have to buy one. Con's: Old/outdated. No USB-C chargers. AC in our room is spotty - weak and only works for short stints before it turns off. The light control for the room was not explained to us - it is all controlled by a device next to the bed so it was confusing the first night figuring out how to turn the lights off. Bathroom was a bit dirty, water keeps leaking thru shower doors despite how many towels were on the floor. Mold on the ceiling of the shower. Also rainfall shower fountain had a bunch of rust, mold and possibly green algae on it as well so avoided using that. Bare amentities for bathroom - soap, shampoo, body wash. No conditioner, no vanity set. No toothbrush/paste without a fee. Since I was on 2nd floor, can hear the busy streets and cars throughout the day/night when window were open so hard to sleep past 8am. Overall, great place if you need a place to crash if you are out in the day a lot but don't expect anything spectacular.

The rooms were spacious but the bathroom was in need of a renovation, there was mold and the shower/tub was very high and difficult to get into, my daughter slipped and fell. Bath towels provided were quite small. Beds were too firm, could not get comfortable. Walls were very thin, I could hear the alarm and phone vibration of the guests in the next room.

Everything is good except the housekeeping staffs didn't do their jobs well. No refill the bathroom cleaning items , the pillows with dirts.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. From the cleanliness of the bathroom bidet, to the comfortable sheets and pillows, the housekeeping does an excellent job. You can also turn down bed sheet or towel changing services to be eco-friendly. We had our 1 year old toddler with us, and the hotel mentioned that cribs were only for babies up to 12 months. However, other guests in the hotel were given a Pack and Play, which is a foldable playpen for toddlers to play in. We asked the front desk twice, and both times they said they did not know what a Pack and Play was. When we asked a housekeeper in the hallway, she said the Pack and Plays we saw in the storage room were not for rental. As a result, our toddler had to free-roam across the room, and because our room was accessible (it was the only room type available that weekend), everything was toddler-height, so he could reach everything. He played with the phones, the light switch console, and the shelves where the TVs were. If we were allowed access to the pack and play (we showed the hotel staff photos of the pack and plays, but they didn't claimed to not know what they were), we would have had a 5 star experience. Other than that, the location of the hotel is central to the Myeongdong Night Market and the subway station, and a GS-25 and 7-Eleven for all your late night needs.

The location is unbeatable – at the heart of Myeongdong, at the foot of the trail to Mt. Namsan, and two minutes from a metro station. The hotel itself is quite depressing. The room was small and dark (the big window overlooked the hotel's corridor, which is why the curtains stayed down throughout my stay). All the lights are controlled by a panel by the bed, which is quite uncomfortable. The bathroom's design reminded me of my military service. The TV has only two channels in English, and neither of them was particularly interesting. The staff is nice, but the one time I needed assistance (asking them where I could buy earphones around), they seemed quite helpless (honestly, that wasn't a hard question – there was an Artbox shop seven minutes from the hotel). To sum up, there are many hotels in the neighborhood, and I'm sure that at least some of them are better than the Pacific. I enjoyed the area a lot but not my stay at the hotel.

Air Conditioning not cold. Room always warn.

Location is top tier, subway on your doorstep. Twin room was adequate but not overly spacious. Hotel was great overall, could do with a refresh in some areas like bathrooms but I’d stay here again.

The Pacific Hotel is located in the heart of Myeongdong. It’s close to the subway station, N Seoul Tower, street shopping and, of course, Myeongdong street food! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was there was no drawers.

Good breakfast, comfy and spacious modern room. Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful, i keep a good memory and definitely stay again next time i return to Seoul !

Located within 2 min walk from Myeong-dong station Exit 3. However: (1) the customer service was cold at best. I requested for early check-in which was denied citing full occupancy, which is understandable. But even extending check-out by just one hour was denied unless I pay for it! And they call themselves 4-star hotel. (2) the rooms had no soundproofing (could hear construction noise even on the 8th floor as well as baby crying in some other room), (3) room had mosquitoes. When I told the front desk, the person said "yes, Seoul has a lot of mosquitoes" instead of doing anything about it (4) the housekeeping everyday kept knocking my room door until I answered despite putting Do Not Disturb sign. So I had to wake up each day just to tell the person to come later (which itself was difficult to explain as she didn't understand any English at all).

駅から非常に近く、観光に便利でした。スタッフの方は日本語を話すことができたため、英語も韓国語も全く話せませんが不便することはありませんでした。

フロントの人に大変お世話になりました。 実は到着日に空港に携帯を忘れてしまいフロントの人に相談した所直ぐに空港に電話をしてくれて、事なきをえました。拾って頂いた人にも感謝ですが、フロントの方の対応にも本当に感謝しています。有難うございました。

Poor staff service

The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and very helpful with all our requests and questions.

👍 Location was excellent to shopping and dining. Room was spacious and clean. 👎 I had 7 mosquito bites total after waking up over the last 2 nights of a 4 night stay. 1st night I asked for the sheets to be changed. My last night I still got bites. The Front Desk Manager, Kim Do only gave an excuse that it wasn’t bed bugs and only mosquitoes. I asked if that makes it ok to get bitten for 2 nights. No apology from him or compensation. A nice female staff came back to me to offer a coupon for coffee and bread - after I checked out. I told her to return it to Do as it was an insult.

Best location with regards to transportation options and proximity to Myeongdong shopping/night market. Never a long wait for the elevator like I've experienced at other hotels in this price range. Only gripe is the towels are somewhat small and thin, but that's a very minor issue. Love that I don't need to pack a travel adapter since they have outlets that support my US plugs. I've stayed here multiple times and the staff is always great.

This was just a brilliant location near Myeongdong. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were really good size and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here.

the staff were very helpful, smiley and courteous. the lifts were also very efficient and the housekeeper cleaned our rooms very well. The location is awesome- there were a few convenient stores and restaurants right outside the hotel and the subway station is just 3mins walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pacific Hotel.

Extremely convenient location. Right next to the subway station. Down the hill from the N-Tower. A five minute walk to a pickup point for day tours. Convenient store right outside the front door. Room was a bit cozy for two people and luggage, but we were only in there to sleep and shower.

This hotel is in a PRIME location. I would 100% stay here again. The night market was a 1 minute walk which was so nice to have access to but not be right outside of. The subway stop is 1 minute outside the front door as well.

久しぶりに利用しましたが、やっぱりPacific Hotelは良いと感じました　駅に近く、帰国する時のリムジンバス乗り場も近い　コンビニも目の前にあります

Loved the hotel. Only comment would be that the breakfast was very limited.

It was a pity that the restaurant in the hotel was open only in the morning.

Very convenient location for many things such as going to downtown, subway, bus or taxi, dining nearby, hiking up to cable car for Seoul Tower and SHOPPING including Myungdong(across the street) and at the South Gate(Namdaemun) open market. Friendly staff. Adding yummy breakfast is optional.

Perfect location, especially for someone’s first time in Korea! Loved that everything was so close, such as the Myeongdong Stn and GS25 right outside. Bonus that Isaac Toast was also right around the corner, so we had that for breakfast almost every morning :) would stay here again if it weren’t for the fact that I’d like to try the Hongdae area next time!
