The gymn was excellent so it was tbe spa, paying extra to use the spa was worthy. The buffet was excellent, bed was comfy. All the staff was very helpful. Location was perfect for my first time visiting Seoul by myself, I felt safe and walked everywhere. The hotel was very nice and modern plenty of olaces to eat nearby and shopping as well. Loyte food court was withing ealking dustance abd jas plenty of tasty pastries and food. .

Cute eclectic room design! The pool is huge, but it was in the adjacent building. It’s a great hotel & the location was very convenient to walk to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. The underground mall is accessible right outside the hotel & walking distance to the Myeong Dong marketplace. The staff was very friendly too!

Very easy access from the city hall station, which is only one stop away from the Seoul station. Being able to walk underground to Miyongdong area which is where we went to eat every day, was nice. Very quiet environment and swimming pool and gym was nice too. It would have been nice had we known we need to wear swim cap to get in at the time of making our reservation.

Hotel was fine, just very over priced. Room could do with a few changes eg button missing off headboard and floor in bathroom was cracked.Quiet at night. Did not realise we needed to pay for the health spa and was one of the reasons we chose this. Great location

A great hotel in the center of Seoul, right next to Seoul Square. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable. The wellness area in the annex building, with its Jacuzzi and indoor pool, is simply fantastic. The PLAZA has the best breakfast buffet we've seen in a 5-star hotel. If you use a personal wifi device and stay on the lower floors, the wifi device won’t work. The staff offered to change the room but since I was so busy I didn’t have the time. Aside from that and the shower dirt build up in the corners, my stay was wonderful and I would come back. The staff are excellent, warm, welcoming, and attentive.

The bathroom shower has moldy grouts and various spots of black mold. The room is quite dark even when we turned on the lights. Every Saturday there are protests in the area so it’s quite noisy. On the positive note, staffs are very friendly. The location is easy from the airport and going to other places.

I had room 1278, a city view deluxe room. Room was quirky in its design with the double bed occupying almost the entire room with 2 large lamps shining upwards towards the ceiling. Curtains were operated electronically. Standard toiletries were provided. Do be careful because there is a separate set of toiletries - toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, shaver which are chargeable. The buffet breakfast spread was sumptuous. There was a wide selection of Western and Korean dishes and staff were very friendly. Location wise the hotel is connected to City Hall station exit 6 which is very convenient.

I was hoping for something special but it was just a hotel with high prices. The bed in the middle of the room was awkward as was the glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom. The location was good, easy access to many popular sites and public transit. Check in was chaos, stall tactics, sign in here, wait there, delay, we got in our room at 4 pm… at 9 we received a text our room was ready. Many do speak English enough to order food, get a taxi, but I felt like we were always given the worst seat in the restaurants. I really wanted this to be special, but it was just a hotel with odd features.

Duty manager ‘upgraded’ us from original Premier Suite to Plaza suite. However, it wasn’t really an upgrade at the plaza suite was smaller than premier suite. Had to waste time changing rooms. Was told that bottle of wine would be sent to my room as my wife was celebrating her birthday, but it never came. Have been staying here for past few trips but service this time round was disappointing.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Plaza Hotel. Very good service, from the valet to check-in desk. They give great thought and care. I appreciate the pool and luggage storage. I enjoy the rooms and will miss automatic curtains and lights. This hotel has a great location, too. It is very close to Lotte Dept. Store, Olive Youngs, and good KBBQ.

and was given a high-floor room. Unfortunately, the room had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. At first, the hotel sent an air purifier, and since I was very tired, I just stayed the night. The next morning, I was able to change rooms, which resolved the issue. Aside from that, everything was comfortable. However, I did feel that the service quality has slightly declined compared to my previous stays.

Terrible Hotel, never go here - Moved here from Andaz on Business trip, all streets were closed and tons of noise until 11PM due to protests that were known to the hotel, and weren't told to us. Room AC didn't work Room was cleaned even when "Do Not Disturb" sign on This is never a 5 star hotel.

In terms of services, it was a mixed bag. I feel the staff needs to smile more and greet the customers whenever they walk by. Some did but some didn't. One day, when I tried to find a taxi, I was told by a staff that I needed to install a taxi app and no further assistance was offered. Another day, a bell staff, Mr. Tak, went out of his way to kindly call the Jumbo taxi during peak hours using his own app which required multiple tries. I really appreciated his service. The room was a bit tight, but the view of the outdoor skating rink and the city hall from the room was eye-pleasing. The location was like a double-edged sword. Great location that offers easy access to everything Seoul has to offer. However, due to political unrest in Korea, the demonstration/protest area was nearby, so the noise level was quite high.

Excellent service at front desk and concierge . The first 2/3 nights we literally could not sleep as the room was so hot 23c. The air con would not cool it and when it was fixed all you could do was set it to 18 and leave it there . The area around is nice but be aware there will be protests most of the weekend in the area around and whilst peaceful the music is noisy and prevents late sleeping after a long journey . They buffet looked lovely but at c£100 for what’s still a buffet was very expensive . Rooms quite basic . You also need to put a towel down in the shower floor as otherwise it’s like an ice rink. All the staff were wonderful though

Staff was helpful with our luggage. The location of the hotel is convenient. It is next to Deoksugung Palace 덕수궁 and a few blocks away from Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is right across the street from city hall. This has the Seoul my soul sign. It can get noisy due to demonstrations. Plenty of restaurants, cages and convenient stores around. The train station is also on the same block.

Stayed over Christmas and views of the Plaza covered in snow were wonderful. Hotel was lovely and room was well appointed, although a little disappointed there was no coffee machine. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and definately good value. Very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend.

We were in this hotel 4 nights on our way home from The Pacific. The location was absolutely fine, with the shoppingcenter, restaurants and museums close by. The rooms were quite comfortable and had everything one would need. The service in the lobby was extremly good. But: The room seemed a bit smallish for all our luggage although we had a premier suite. An extra rack for the luggage would be good. We usel the floor which is uncomfortable. Some renovation was going on, which did not disturb us since we were in the 15th floor. Some kind of demonstration was going on on both sides at the hotel entrance outside. Why I gave only 4/5 stars is because we tried to have dinner in two of the hotel’s restaurants but they were fully booked. We could not even book a table for the next day. The room service did not have a full a la carte menu. We were very disappointed not to be able to have dinner in the hotel. However there were several restaurants, even Michelin star restaurants next door in other hotels, so we were quite satisfied in the end.

The experience was amazing from check in to check out. The staff were attentive; the room was well appointed and very comfortable. We had an amazing view from the 15th floor. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had. We will definitely try to stay here again.

This is a top hotel in Seoul no doubt - classy, staff are top notch. My only mild complaint is the pricing of the restaurants. I've been to my share of 5 star hotels and most of them throw in a mix of cost options. Everything here was just too expensive even for a 5 star - food wise. Apart from that it's an exceptional hotel and lots of food options to walk to as a solution...but still...eg only glass of wine in the bar available was $28 for a glass. Only option .

We had an amazing stay at the Plaza heading into New Years! Excellent service, plenty of dining options and close to shopping. Rooms are slightly outdated vs pictures but still good. Definitely get breakfast included in your stay as the buffet was good and most cafes open after 10am here. Hotel is also on central heating in winter so we left the external vents open and room heating off. Great stay overall!
