No lifts working. Hotel sent email out late in the day to be able to cancel. Hotel also sent email to say discount code available for car parking but that was a lie. Hotel also selling cans of pepsi marked as 85p on the can for £1.60. No staff member seemed to actually care. I get they may have had stressful day but service is service. Housekeeping haven't checked and rejected damaged bed sheets. Mine clearly has holes. Didnt expect a lot but basics right should have been the minimum

There were two lifts neither was working there seemed no intention to get them working. It was at least 6 flights of stairs to get to my room. The room was fine just exhausting to get there had to bring everything down to breakfast as I couldn’t face going back up the stairs it ruined my weekend.

Very comfortable bed in a clean room. Staff were friendly and I was quite satisfied with the breakfast. The one negative was the car parking. An email said there is limited parking onsite but you could go on the Sheppard street car park nearby with a discount code the hotel would provide. I turned up and the member of staff said that the discount code had not been working for some time and I would have to pay full price as it was not owned by the hotel. This is contrary and misleading to the email that was sent out.

Its a horrible and un safe property. My child almost got trapped in the lift when it broke whilst going down. I had to hold the doors and force open. The toilet flush is not working. Even after asking, it didnt get fixed. My room doors are jammed. Had to pull really hard to open. Will never stay here.

Ordered a king room, had 2 singles, even though we booked months ago. The eventually pushed together and put a mattres topper on. Friends had same, they moved them to a different room, with another 2 single beds, eventually put topper on theirs too. The lifts were both broken, had to carry our bags up the fire escape stairs. Breakfast was ok though.

I was extremely unhappy with my stay as i came with 2 of my young children after being evicted the same day from our home to find blood and poo in the toilet and it was blocked which was very terrifying for my daughter to see who has autism!!

Our room was alright. Enough space for a family of 3. Tidy. Only problem was the bathroom gets flooded after shower as the seals weren't tightly fitted so water was just flowing off the cubicle. Also found a fe of the pillows with what seems like make up stains.

Ideal for access to the town center by foot, and only a few minutes walk from the railway station. Not far to walk to the designer outlets. Parking was in a cashless public carpark 3 minutes walk away. 2 days later I have still not been able to register on their APCOA app, but was able to pay over the phone. The staff are hard working, very polite and helpful. The hotel is clean and fresh, the room and facilities in it excellent. WiFi was adequate for our needs and no blocking. We paid for a breakfast which was outstanding. The quality of the cooked food deserves mention, there was no fruit salad option observed. Fruit juice cooler was out of use so cartons were available, orange only. Dining room staff always clearing and restocking, which showed enthusiasm. Now why I wont be back this year. Hotel was closed until 2nd weekend of May due to accommodating guests of HM government. Around this time 1 of the 2 lifts went out of order. 3 days before our arrival an email was received saying all lifts were out of use and we would have to use the stairs. Difficult due to our age and physical condition, even though our luggage was taken to our room for us. I immediately contact the premises directly. We surrendered our king size accessible room for a standard double on the first floor to ease our situation. From the street, this was seven (7) flights of stairs! More like the 3rd floor, not first. Apparently lifts are not due to be repaired for months. So the one staircase congest

Very noisy. You can hear everything from the delivery drivers singing in the morning to the locals arguing at night! I was on the 5th floor so must be worse lower down. Bathroom wasn’t very nice. Breakfast was ok.

Very basic hotel. Staff on the front desk were not at all clear about parking arrangements. Really noisy at night from outside aswell as other guests. Air-conditioning was useful but very noisy. Room was fairly clean, quite dusty in places. Barely any refreshments in room, two teabags, 2 coffee sachets and 4 sachet of milk. Breakfast was a nightmare. Really busy and not enough tables. None of the tables had been cleared or cleaned. Only one coffee machine working with big queue. Pancakes were the size of a 10p coin! It was ok for a one night stop over but probably wouldn't return.

The room is clean and comfortable, though dim and limited in hanging space. Just nice for 1 pax. Bed and pillows make perfect sleep. Happy that 1 lift was working throughout my 2 night stay as the hotel had pre-warned the day before that the lifts are out of order. Breakfast was good with sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, baked beans, croissants, white and brown bread, cereal, milk, yogurt, hot drinks, fruit juice, fruits, etc.

Issue with room being set as a double and not twin, A/C noise and didn’t cool the room, night club in close proximity had extremely load base music until 2am at least. Hotel was very clean, but access to car park poorly exploded, staff made every effort to correct the issues within their control.

All the staff we encountered in the hotel were outstanding and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very helpful and knowledgeable and so hard working. We had a wonderful stay and will come back again. The value for money of this hotel is outstanding.

The lift was a little temperamental, and wouldn't go down on one occasion, and one of the coffee machines was out of order at breakfast. Apart from that, the only real disappointment was the breakfast itself, which was low budget to say the least. The two staff on duty looked like they were overworked most of the time. On the positive side, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff very polite and helpful.

The property was very clean and the breakfast buffet was good. The first room we were given didn't have working electricity, so they moved us. During the first night we realized that there was something faulty with the air conditioner as it kept shutting off. We told the front desk clerk in the morning and they said that they would have it fixed. When we returned in the evening, nothing had been done about it and the front desk knew nothing about it. They had someone reset the air conditioner from the main control box but we continued to have problems for the rest of the night. We let the front desk again know in the morning, and they simply said "sorry."

I wish I had something good to say. The hotel is in drugsville, not at all pleasant to walk around. The reception service was slow. The lift (singular) was tiny and only arrived every 10 minutes. The room was okay. The bar service was non-existent (the receptionist was also the barman and the chef). The breakfast experience was terrible, with dirty cutlery, missing crockery, broken coffee machines and missing breakfast items. Shame, I normally find this chain perfectly bland and acceptable.

Rooms were clean, however they were freezing cold. The problem was reported, but nothing was sorted. Shower was cold. Breakfast was very disappointing. Soggy Hash browns, Coffee machine worked intermittently, Powder scrambled eggs, Orange juice dispenser didn't work., Only one lift working and very slow, Toilet flushes were not efficient in rooms. Overall, very poor.

Avoid! Just avoid. On the 5th floor, after booking (last min booking) was told the lifts were not working. Holes in bedding, marks on carpets, titles in bathroom were loose and grotty. One of the towels had a huge hole in. The phone had a sticky brown substance on. No food at breakfast with people saying they had waited 15 minutes for food and still nothing came out. No juice/ cups/ knifes & forks. When they did come out the lady brought only 8 harsh browns out… for like a huge crowd by this point, we went to whetherspoons… it was a step up which tells you everything. People running up and down the halls all night, banging and carrying on … didn’t sleep, the area is shady and felt unsafe at night. The reception staff weren’t helpful and was dismissive of our complaints. One receptionist picked up her mobile phone midway through a conversation with another guest. Just avoid!

It's OK but the lift is awful, so slow, 45 minutes to get the lift down & up to 6th floor. Air-conditioning really bad on the 6th floor, moved to 2nd & so much better. Breakfast good but 2nd day ran out of nearly everything.
