We go to Swindon every December for our Christmas shopping and we stay overnight in this hotel. Very convenient, affordable, we don’t have to worry with parking space as there’s ample spaces. Friendly, accommodating staff. Well done xx

Although close to M4, hotel was very quiet. No motorway noise. Check in was carried out in a quick but informative manner by a very pleasant helpful young lady. Room was located on first floor and was clean and tidy and warm on entering. Evening food menu had a reasonable selection to choose from and no complaints with our choices. Bar service was efficient with a reasonable selection of drinks. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast and was plentiful and tasty. The breakfast area was managed by the reception staff who carried out their duties in a friendly efficient manner. Free parking is a bonus at the hotel. More than happy to stay their again if in the area.

Good for an overnight stay. Had the chicken burger for dinner. Bun was chewy as if it had been defrosted in a microwave, refried chips and brown lettuce. Spoilt my stay

Very comfortable room with excellent shower. Kettle and beverages available. Plenty of breakfast choice which was replenished before it ran out.

Hotel was clean, staff were great although no chef so no evening meal. On arrival the room had double bed which was not very comfortable and had blood on the sheets, when we told reception they changed them straight away! Also the room had a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable and hard, so we all had a bad nights sleep! Rest of the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from.

Room was freezing cold and heater not working. No parking at hotel available so had to park in a remote industrial estate. Breakfast area was filthy, no clean tables. Ran out of most of food items by 9.20am, no beans, no egg, no bread, no yogurt, no pastries, no cutlery, no milk in coffee machine. The list goes on. Manager told staff he would tell company they had a power cut and that’s why shortage of items whilst he was telling customers that it was half term and they’d served 245 breakfasts so ran out of food. This is never an excuse for no food. They know how many bookings they’ve taken so should have enough food. Stayed here many times and this will be the last.

Property is in excellent location. Staff are very friendly especially Carrie who allowed us to check in early and Aaron who customer service is exemplary. Room amenities are very good with clean and spacious rooms with tea making facilities etc

Nice hotel with comfy beds and decent value. My room was over the air con units outside which were noisy. Breakfast was over crowded and had to eat in a conference room. Hotel booked a taxi into town for us which ripped us off, £25 for a three and a half mile trip.

Staff helpful but on arrival after 13 hours travelling, the room we were originally given the window catch was broken and the window wouldn't shut, all we could hear was traffic and it was cold in the room. Thankfully staff moved us to alternative room. Unfortunately not a patch on premier Inn!

Overall, the hotel is good and the staff cannot be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble. However, the accommodation was not so good. The room was big enough and a proper bathroom, no loose curtains flapping about, an easily accessible shower. Toiletries were good (apart from thin, cheap toilet paper, false economy!) and all provided. There was no heating in the bathroom and a huge air conditioning unit in the room. This was very noisy and in the end we turned it off because we couldn’t sleep. In the morning, the temperature was 15deg. I asked at the desk if we could have a heater, which was provided immediately and the person who brought it to our room even changed a flickering light bulb although we hadn’t said anything about that. Unfortunately the next morning we found the heater did not work. If all the rooms have the same heating arrangement I would not recommend staying there. Breakfasts were basic, not a huge amount of choice but more than adequate.

Friendly staff and good buffet breakfast which was replenished frequently. The room was a bit dark and bed quite narrow. Not as wide as Premier Inn - fine if you are staying on your own but not so comfortable for a couple. Bathroom was very good with good shower.

Business trip whereby the Holiday Inn was well located for a night stopover. There was no motorway noise in the room. AC worked well especially as it was 28C at the time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good

Great location just off the m4. A few close things to see and do within 30 mins. We unfortunately had a room without main heating but was provided with a portable heater. Room heated okay but was a little worried with 2 young children saftey wise. Staff we helpful

Very helpful receptionist on arrival . Others in my party didn't check in until nearly midnight so different check in staff but also very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good - help yourself buffet style, but they did close the service bang on time so make sure you are there and served before the cut off. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Standard and type C USB charging points in several spots in the room. Wi Fi connection was good. Lots of parking spaces. Couldn't really fault it and great value for money.

Not a great experience this time. Whoever owns the property needs to invest some money back to repair or replace broken utilities. Toilet doesn’t flush, told staff to fix it and it worked once and same problem again. Inform them about the situation and got told we got no maintenance staff available today which is ridiculous as most of them are on on-call rota or fee for service contracts so lame excuse. Shower doesn’t drain, A/C don’t cool and so on. I can go on and on but no point. They offer me to move which is ok but can’t keep changing every day as did already on the day of arrival.

An absolute pleasure! Stayed at three different IHG hotels in the past three days, this one provided the best service among them all. The gentleman at the reception made our stay trouble free and so welcoming! My daughter had a relaxing stay with her lovely mini-cola bottle. We will definately come back.

We arrived very late. We were greeted warmly by the night manager who also helped us store our ski bags in the luggage locker instead of taking them to our rooms. The team at breakfast were also very helpful. Thank you!

It was a terrible night and I regret I made a booking at this place. First and foremost the staff asked me to pay even though whole money was paid while booking this hotel. No bath towels were provided and upon complaining at the reception, the manager said the washing machine is having issues. The most frustrating was the water started dripping from the air conditioner in the middle of the night and it was a horrible sleepless night.

No car park spaces available on arrival. Check in ok but friendlier staff on the morning shift when leaving. Both evening staff were grumpy and “doing you a favour” by doing their job. Customer lift has seen better days and food offer was ok for dinner and breakfast. Unlikely to return.

The hotel was very well located near Swindon retail outlet. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality and being a buffet meant you could have as much or as little of everything as you wanted. The man on reception, at check in, was really welcoming, friendly and efficient. Overall, a great stay.

This hotel is right on the M4 junction and yet is quiet. You get exactly what you expect, breakfast is a reasonable choice of the usual things, can take away a coffee etc if travelling on. I stayed four nights and was very happy with the hotel.

The room was cozy for the two of us, we enjoyed having a bit of space. Breakfast was standard for my teenager, cannot recommend it for vegans as there were very limited options. We knew the hotel was next to the motorway but there were power lines on the other side of the building. Luckily we were on the road side, sound proofing could be better but we slept fine.

The accessible room i stayed in was clean and in great condition. Good quality bed linen and a choice of firm or soft pillows. Blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast choices were good. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy best ive had in a hotel. The food was lovely and fresh as well as hot. Gluten free and oat milk were provided too. Choice of fruit juices and cereals too. Very clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

Convenient place to stay. It would be nice if they do something about the breakfast as after first couple of days it feels like eating same food. Should consider on demand food options for breakfast to give client some choices.

Bradley seemed to be everything and every where! What a strong team member and calm under pressure. Room was perfect- good beds and great shower. The breakfast was good food but complete pandemonium! Too many people, not enough tables etc!
