Not likely to return. Great location. The staff were very cordial and the room was spacious, but the room was quite dated and the A/C was noisy. The bathroom in the room was also dirty upon arrival. Unfortunate as we typically enjoy Hyatt experiences. It should also be noted that there were ongoing renovations in the lobby of the hotel in August 2024 - this didn’t affect the stay, but we were only notified after booking.

Solid property which has been nicely renovated. Corner Studio suite was extremely spacious and comfortable, with a unique split zone climate control in bathroom versus rest of room. Great views including Mt Fuji when clear. One of the nicer regency clubs I’ve seen, with great variety of food and impressive alcohol assortment included. Lobby bar had excellent cocktails with a good DJ playing tasteful music. Only demerit is location. Outside of government buildings, it’s not a very walkable location. There are two subway stations at either end of the property which easily connect you.

We had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo and would highly recommend it. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and staffed by professional, courteous and attentive team members across the board. The rooms are spacious by Tokyo standards and serviced daily without needing to request housekeeping. Complimentary water is provided, and the hotel takes recycling seriously, which we appreciated. The spa was a standout experience. The staff were highly skilled, professional and clearly very experienced. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed and calm. The concierge, front desk, doormen and bell staff were consistently helpful with questions, directions and transportation. The hotel is conveniently located near a train line, making it easy to get around, and taxis are always readily available. If you are looking for a comfortable, roomier hotel with excellent service, this is a great choice. The only note is that the hotel attracts many international travelers. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent food at restaurants. Very responsive staff. Large renovation project underway that resulted in closure of some restaurants. Also, tarp covered portion of first floor. Room rates should have been reduced due to inconvenience or customers should be informed of project work so that could be taken into consideration before selecting hotel.

Hotel was fine but pool and hot tub and onsen are under construction and renovation woth no mention of on either hotels.com or hyatt’s websites when booking. Extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to using the lap pool - a rare find.

My room was supposed to be non smoking and smelled of smoke. The hotel staff just said “sorry”. But never offered to move my room. Very disappointed with this experience. In addition my room seemed outdated and did not even have a coffee maker . I would not stay here again, there are many nicer hotels in Tokyo

Family of 4 with two elementary aged kids- the room had a king size bed and two smaller mattresses at the large window seats that the kids fit perfectly in. Views of Tokyo were incredible! Very modern and comfortable, extremely clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. Do not miss the breakfast buffet- best breakfast buffet we’ve ever had! Location was great- the park close by was a nice mini escape from the hustle and bustle, subway station on the corner, and close to the center of Shinjuku. Hotel gym was top tier. Dining options in the hotel were a major plus!

Lovely looking hotel, fantastic lobby, staff were brilliant. Room was comfortable, beds really good. However, the hotel has really poor soundproofing, which meant loads of bangs, thumps, and other noise throughout the night - which really lets it all down.

This property is great in terms of its location except that rooms are tiny. We are a family of three with a daughter in early teens and it was so hard to move around the room or open a suitcase unless you place it on the bed.

room was clean, the hotel seemed well maintained, the buffet dinner is really good and well priced, our room view (the park) was really nice, you can see Fuji on a clear day, we were pleasantly surprised one day where we could see it from our window.

The staff provided exceptionally kind and attentive service, and all of my requests were handled with precision. The room was spotlessly clean, and the surroundings—close to the park and the prefectural office—were quiet and relaxing. Convenient pedestrian access through the tunnel made it easy to reach the Shinjuku Station area, and the limousine bus from the airport was a great advantage. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this hotel.

The Cafe had the most amazing higher quality buffet breakfast. Also great for dinner. Hotel is 15 minute walk from shopping area. Subway stop below hotel.

This was the perfect spot for our trip! The hotel is impeccable. Friendly staff and very foreign-friendly. It’s centrally located close enough to conveniently get to everything via metro or walk, but a very quiet in the immediate area. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!

We checked in for a night stay and the hotel was Great overall but there were a few things which caught my attention. During check in, we were not provided with any information regarding our breakfast, the time, venue etc. I checked my package and realized that breakfast was included so i had to check with the front desk. the breakfast was excellent great choice and quality and our host Fabio was very attentive and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable but I heard someone singing loudly it was audible, from the ceiling vent. I realized later on that when u are in the shower, as it is a tightly enclosed space, the sound gets amplified and echoes. Quite an experience. Overall a great hotel!

The overall stay was great and the service was exceptional. It may be a personal thing, but I didn’t like that I couldn’t find coffee anywhere until after 8am. I was surprised that room service didn’t provide coffee prior to 8am.
