Very clean and spacious room. Location is excellent - only a few minutes walk from Shinagawa JR station and with direct access to Narita and Haneda airport. Staff are nice and helpful. Only thing I would complain about is the gym - very very small and limited machines.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was very close to the train station and one of the reasons we picked it. The room were nice although some of the windows overlook other quest room so it was a little intrusive in privacy.The gym was a little small. Overall are stay was nice and it was a good value.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is just next to the Shinagawa Station. I feel good especially when I was taking my baggage from the airport. The reception and the restaurant staff are all very friendly and nice. Some improvement may be needed for the room, as it is not cleaned up very well, and the remote control of the television was not working well. But overall, the room is bigger than I expect before, and it is very comfortable.

Rooms are right above train so noise was a bit annoying. Location is amazing. Very convenient as train station is right outside hotel entrance. Hotel is also part of train and shopping complex with drug store and restaurants. Hotel room was not very clean. Dry old toothpaste left on sink counter. Hair strands on bed after room was cleaned.

I stayed with my 2 kids. Our room had a king and a rollaway that was already setup. The rooms are modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Shower has good water pressure. The hotel lobby is on floor 26, so all rooms are on a high floor. The breakfast is also very good with a variety of sweet and savory options. The hotel is next to a huge train station, Sinagawa, making it very easy to access all parts of the city. We could hear some noise from the trains, but it did not interfere with our sleep.

Hotel is in a great location near a lot of things. This stay was at the end of an eight-day trip and this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in from Osaka to Tokyo. The staff was great, the restaurant was awesome, and the rooms were phenomenal. A lof of the hotels in Japan are a bit smaller than I am used to being from the US, but this one was very sizable and worth every penny. The bathroom is spectacular. Great stay overall.

The best hotel we have stayed at for a very long time. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and spacious - and the view from our room at 31 floor - amazing. We could see Mt Fuji several time and Tokyo skyline at night. And the breakfast was probably the best we ever had on a hotel - so delicious - and the seating in the breakfast restaurant was top. The only minus is the area - it is a bit quiet - but that was just what we needed after 3 weeks in Japan and it was very close to Shinagawa station where the train to Haneda airport depart from. If we come to Tokyo again we would definitely choose this hotel again

The room was luxuriously spacious and we had a wonderful view of the trains. We felt like VIP and loved the toys stadd provided our young son. Top notch service. We cant wait until we stay here again.

While I stayed for one night, I found the room very comfortable and modern, with good views of the city (31st floor). Service was excellent, welcoming and prompt. The room and common spaces were clean and looked very new with no signs of wear or age. Can't comment on the restaurants or bar as I didn't use them. The location is very convenient being 4-5 stops from Ginza and within 25 mins by taxi to Haneda Airport, and right next to Shinagawa Station. Will certainly consider a longer stay here when I return to Tokyo inn the future.

This is a good location next to the Shinagawa station. The property is older with limited amenities but rooms are good size. My main concern was the lack of good English communications of front desk staff making it difficult to get accurate information. Don’t think this property lived up to a Five Star reputation and room rates were too high for the poor quality of staff knowledge.

Really great property. They were so welcoming and hospitable. I really appreciated them holding all of our luggage while we traveled around Tokyo for a day and then had it ready to go at 5pm which I had mentioned briefly. Their attention to detail was wonderful. The room itself was also great. They had the bed ready and all of our luggage from an earlier stay already in the room for us. Will definitely come back. The hotel is also very close and walkable to the station, very convenient for subway access.

What is so unique about this property is the fact that it is very clean and upscale. What I don’t like about the property is the front desk staff. They seem always overworked and stressed. This percolates to the guests when they are greeted. The front desk seem rude although they may not be but they are always overworked and rushed. They speak English but you can’t understand them because of their accent.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The accomodations as well as the convienance to the train station were great! The room was nice and spacious. There is a 7/11, and a coffee shop and some shopping close by. And again, being connected to the Shinagawa station is EXTREMELY convenient. I highly recommend the Strings for your stay in Tokyo. Hands down!

What I like the most is the distance between the hotel & the station, only 5 min walk from Shinagawa station. What a big plus is that only 10-15 min train ride from Haneda airport, vs over an hour express train ride from Narita. Hotel is new, breakfast option is good, too. Don’t forget to check out the sunset from the lobby. Exceptional view.

とにかく最高！今回は東京でしか観れないミュージカルや博物館に行く為、利用しました。ジムも楽しめて、スタッフは丁寧で笑顔、朝食は美味しい！中でもフレンチトーストはその場で提供、絶品で好みでした。ホイップクリームも嬉しい！朝食会場もゆったりとしていて広いせいか静かで、とても落ち着いた気持ちで贅沢な気分で頂きました。可能であれば後、数日宿泊したかったかなー。家族もみんな大満足でした。
