Awesome location. Walkable to shops and eateries. Parking can be a little tight sometimes. Friendly staff. But internet is really bad, its weak and doesnt really work. Only about 5 channels of tv. I didnt use the pool. Comfortable beds. Limited milk, just basic coffee sachets. No biscuits. Could be a bit more generous with welcome pack.

While there the pool was closed for a short period due to 'guest vandalism'. The receptionist at the time was very accommodating as I'd planned to return in the not too distant future. No issue with rebooking !!

Really clean and reasonable condition given age of property. Pool and bbq area is great. Parking was a bit difficult when all rooms booked. Staff were friendly especially Bree the cleaner.

Overall very good choice for a few days in Townsville. Clean motel style room and bathroom. Good wifi TV etc. Quiet apart from the odd Stone Curlew; but possibly a little noisy if there is a Cowboys game on the weekend. Woolworth’s a short walk away. 10 minutes to restaurants in South Townsville. Staff friendly and could not have been more helpful.

This place a neglected mess. Online photos are not an accurate reflection of this place. Noise from other guests and the noisy plumbing kept us awake include showers at 4am in the morning! Dark rooms from only block out curtains, no privacy if opened. One curtain was nailed to the door frame! Dirty ledges and filthy shower screen. Stained basin. Restaurant closed during COVID and has never opened Saw a member of staff once when we checked in but never again. I could go on but frankly the place is not worth the effort!

Shower was dirty and the drain was blocked. There was Mould growing in the grout of the shower and the screens were growing with soap scum. The bed was terrible. The mattress was not even flat anymore and was dipping in the middle. Would not stay there again

We were willing to overlook the lack of cleanliness after we checked in. We knew that the hotel was older but cleaning shouldn’t be sacrificed. Lots of mould in shower that hadn’t been cleaned, vacuuming that wasn’t fully complete ( there was debris under bed from previous guests) and light covers were filthy. Sadly the aircon was very noisy which didn’t enable a great nights sleep (which we all desperately needed after travelling). We would not agree that this hotel is anywhere near a 4 star.

The QR scan on the mirror with motel details and breakfast orders didn’t work as I was wanting breakfast which had been advertised as available but unfortunately wasn’t. Very limited parking available. Overall for my brief stay it was good value for money very clean good shower an an aircon that works

The room was okay for the price point, the pool is lovely and has a great view. Don't forget they are un-manned after 6pm. Reception held onto our bags while we walked around Townville. All staff I meet including the room cleaner, maintenance gentlemen and reception staff were lovley.

Positive - friendly staff, was able to get an early check in. Air con worked well. Negative - definitely not 4 star, Communication by email and phone message prior to arrival went unanswered, 2 pillows only provided - one in cupboard and had to go ask for another at office. Room not as advertised - see pictures, also no radio alarm clock as advertised… Very old structure that has had facelifts but loud plumbing pipe noise from other rooms could be heard. Would not stay again or recommend for the price.

Had to 5 minutes wait for the office lady to get off her mobile phone before serving. Parking is "first in", which meant we did not have anywhere to park our car and had to leave it overnight on the street a block away. Hole in the wall next to bed. No blankets. A/C did not turn to heat mode = a lovely winter night for us. Fire alarm was set off but the steam form the shower (needed a hot shower due to the freezing night we had with no heater or blanket). TV stopped working and the only channel was SBS. No security screen on the windows (we were ground level with window on the street). Overall = really bad, 10/0 do not recommend. Honestly, a backpackers would have been more comfortable.

Do not stay at this place! It is a part-time hotel—the woman at the front desk used that term. The front desk is only open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is shut tight otherwise and sometimes more often. I returned at 5:20 pm yesterday and no one was there; reception was locked tight. I lost electricity twice when reception was closed. Had to call an off-time number. No clean towels unless you ask specially and no cleaning of the rooms. And there were tiny ants all over my kitchenette. I wanted to go somewhere at 8:00 am the day I checked out but had to wait until 9:00 am for someone to open reception so I could leave my luggage. Seriously?

Booking in process efficient, staff helpful and friendly, repairs to a dripping shower tap repaired to satisfaction both for my time and convenience. Geographically placed so it was a pleasurable walk to the Mall, where there is an abundance of delightful coffee places and some shopping. Quiet and safe to stay
