Close to beach and Stanley Park. The suite was very clean and very comfortable beds. My only concern was there was no elevator from the parkade and no parking out front to carry your luggage in.

Our room was clean and roomy. Staff were helpful except for change for the laundry and the guy in the petrol station across the road knew. Not a good look. You provide a service you should provide the means to use that service.

It was convenient to where we needed to be but i wouldn’t stay there again. I would not call it a hotel. The elevator only takes 4 people and is tiny- so checking in and out took a while

Great location near Stanley Park. Rooms very dated and not as pictured which management blamed on Expedia as he has had other similar guests discuss. He suggested checking the actual website (which I did before booking) and those photos are of the Penthouse suite so equally misleading. Management very rude when made inquiries about laundry which can only be used very limited hours (6:30 pm to 7:30 am). I explained we booked the hotel due to laundry and he blamed me for not calling the hotel. Management raised his voice and cut me off several times. Extremely unprofessional and not concerned about customer service or customer being satisfied.

Spacious, convenient location. The shower was a bit hard to get perfect setting. The key cards never worked on the 1st or 2nd try. Parking garage was hard to navigate. Staff was extremely friendly and location very quiet, but walking distance of many restaurants

We had a 3 night stay with my kids and dogs. It was great. The building was charming, the suites had lots of space and I felt very safe walking the dogs at night. Only issue is 1 elevator that doesn't line up and almost tripped getting out of the elevate every time, office staff was a hit and miss (some were VERY nice and another made my son cry.) and parking was sketchy especially if you have a big car. I would stay here again because for the money- you cant beat it.

The best thing about this property is the location. The actual facility is old and a bit run down. The parking garage is tiny so if you have an SUV its not ideal. The beds were incredibly firm. There is no thermostat in the room, just old furnace units. We were able to turn them off and open all the windows to regulate the temp better. We enjoyed our time but again that had everything to do with the location. We will be looking for other accommodations next time.

This is a super convenient place to stay near Stanley Park. Denman street, and all of its great eating spots, are a very short walk away.The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The property is a bit on the older side, but in decent shape. If you need totally easy access please note that the elevator is small. This building was turned into a hotel for the 1986 world's fair and it shows. Very cool for people interested in historical buildings. The location was fantastic, easy to get to many attractions quickly. It is a difficult property if you have trouble walking. I'm recovering from a broken ankle and had to hop the front steps. And the elevator doesn't go down to the garage which meant climbing stairs on my tush while my partner lovingly carried my knee scooter. The hotel manager was very pleasant and the suite was clean and spacious. Once I'm walking again we'll definitely stay here on a return visit!

It’s an old property, but very clean. Windows are old and in poor repair. The weather was warm and having the windows open provided good ventilation. There are no luggage carts. If you intend on using the kitchen be prepared to carry groceries and luggage to your room. There is a small elevator that works well, but does not service the parkade below. If you are driving make sure you reserve a parking spot in the very small parkade. There was never any parking out front so if you wish to unload your luggage to enter the lobby be prepared to block traffic or carry your luggage up two flights of stairs from the parkade. The two bedroom two bathroom apartment was very roomy. The kitchen was equipped with a dishwasher, stove, fridge and necessary dishes and pots and pans. The rooms do not have central air conditioning. There was a portable unit in the living room with a hose hanging out the window. It was not hot enough during our visit to try it out. The price was more affordable than anything else we looked at. The location was very good. Great restaurants were a $5-$7 Uber ride away. Stanley park is an easy 10 min walk.

Lots of space for our family. Room is a bit run down and the shower curtain needs to be replaced as moldy around the bottom, but good value for money. Staff lovely and accommodating. Great location.

The Rosellen Suites were a great alternative to a hotel room. We had room to spread out; the place was spotlessly clean and quiet; staff were very attentive and helpful and the location was terrific. There were some little problems: the toilet and shower were rather eccentric but we managed these ourselves. The television remote didn’t work but as we don’t watch much television, we didn’t bother to complain. I’m sure that the reception staff would have attended to this if we had made a fuss. The units are rather “tired” and in need of a refresh but that I’ll come in time, I’m sure. We would certainly stay again if we were in Vancouver.

I loved how big, spacious and clean it was. Loved the decor. My only reasoning for not giving you a perfect score was the wifi in the bedrooms went out or didn’t load half the time. There was a switch that did nothing, the tv set up was a bit confusing. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a dying car. But that’s ok. It was the curved bathnin the shower that gave me a heart attack and I almost hurt myself rolling my ankle in the shpwer. I think if you move the wifi modem more central and warn people about the tub curvature, it would be 10/10. Thank you though. The area is nice.

This property is like a guest house because the office is only open until the afternoon and then you have to call them if you have an issue. It’s definitely an older property with old windows and no ac. We were able to use a portable ac in a window for our July stay but it wasn’t perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood easily walkable to tons of restaurants and Stanley park and Pool and beaches. We had a kitchen in our large unit and were able to walk to Safeway and Whole Foods and get groceries and make our own dinners to save money. Our unit was missing a large pot for pasta but we used a medium pot. We tried to check in early and they didn’t have our room ready. They offered a larger room for us to upgrade too for a fair price. We got it so we could put our luggage in a safe room and start touring. They would have allowed us to leave our luggage in a hallway in front of the office. The employees were polite and helpful. Biking around Stanley Park is the way to go, it’s huge!

The staff was very courteous and came back after hours even though it was a holiday to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is charmingly vintage but very well kept and clean. The building is not a hotel with a reception area open after 3 or 4pm. I arrived about 830pm and had to read signs about onto call for after hours emergencies. Checking in hardly seems like an emergency but then it took 5 tries with 5 different people over 20 minutes to get checked in over the intercom. Finally another first let me in and found an envelope with room access cards in a lockbox with my name. While the light went green at the door it did not open. It was jammed. Finally I hipcheckrdnthe door with force and got in. I should have known the property would be run down: there is a rezoning sign in front. The location is excellent and the place clean but so worn. In the morning I went out to get coffee and got locked out again: apparently my cell phone demagnetized it and so I was locked out again. Hopeless!

Finally I hipcheckrdnthe door with force and got in. I should have known the property would be run down: there is a rezoning sign in front. The location is excellent and the place clean but so worn. In the morning I went out to get coffee and got locked out again: apparently my cell phone demagnetized it and so I was locked out again. Hopeless!

I show up at 11 and no one was there got told I didn’t have reservation no one asked for confirmation They hung up on me three times so I had to go to another hotel and then got told I was not going to get a refund for the room I did not stay in and the place looked d nothing like pics at and and was very out of date Then called to get my refund on Tuesday after no one answered for three days and was told I wasn’t getting a refund even though they couldn’t find my reservation and had to go somewhere else and told Expedia the same thing I would not ever stay here and DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to stay ever

I was verbally assaulted by the desk clerk at check-in for causing him to stay less than an hour past the 5 p.m. regular hours. This after a 5 a.m. no show by an airport shuttle and the subsequent re-scheduling of ground and air transport. A problem he was aware of. The hotel itself is getting a little long in the tooth. Some patches in the carpet and old electronics, but the cleaning staff does an excellent of cleaning and accommodating clients needs.

The location is very good - but the check in wasn't as easy as described, i had to contact the property in advance and had to communicate my email adress first and then i could do the check in. After checking in we left our room to take a walk and later we werent able to get in our room. The cards did not work, we had to wait fo rsomeone to let us in. Then the replacement cards did not work either, we were told that we had them with our cell phones and these do impact the funtionality of the cards. But we were aware and the cards did not touch our cell phones, see the replacement cards did not work either. The locking system is simply outdated - as is the whole building. The staff slammed on the locking device of the door and suddenly it worked. The location is worth the price - but the 'hotel' is not. I asked the staff whether they could reduce our parking fee for this incident, but they said 'no'. I have to write this here, so be aware - 'smooth' is not the appropriate description here!

It is always great to stay at the Rosellen Suites. The staff is very friendly. The location is great being close to Stanley Park. It is like living the apartment life during the stay especially with the full kitchen. There are so many restaurants to walk to along Denman Street.

in a super convenient area only 10 minutes from the beach in one direction and 10 minutes from Stanley Park in the other direction. There were also many dining options close by on Denman Street and you could walk to downtown in around 30 mins. There is a large Safeway supermarket a 10 minute walk away which was useful for buying breakfast items. Despite being conveniently close to everything, the street itself is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was a bit old-style in terms of furniture, etc but was perfectly clean and also spacious. We had 2 bedrooms, lounge area, kitchen and bathroom.

This is a super convenient place to stay near Stanley Park. Denman street, and all of its great eating spots, are a very short walk away.The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The property is a bit on the older side, but in decent shape. If you need totally easy access please note that the elevator is small. Parking is available, but you need to drop off in front (likely double park) and then park in a small spot underground. If none of that fazes you this place can be a great short or long term stay in Vancouver.

The staff was very courteous and came back after hours even though it was a holiday to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is charmingly vintage but very well kept and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and a great selection of pots and pans. The location is great. Lots of food a short walk away, but if the main drag.

The unit was quite nice. 2 bedroom with 2 bath, a kitchen, living area and seperate dining room. The neighborhood was beautiful, a half block from Stanley park and walking paths on the ocean. Just two blocks the other way was a nice little coffee shop and other shopping with a Safeway handy.

My husband and I really enjoyed this property. The building is a little run down, but the rooms are spacious and the front desk people were very friendly. It’s a short walk to denman st where there’s so many cool shops and restaurants, as well as really close to Stanley park. Highly recommend!!
