Stay was great. Amount of fees per day is crazy. Ended up adding another $50. Parking for overside vehicles is at your own risk. They really ensure they push that part to let you know they are not liable. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Pool and hot tub was great, breakfast was good. Sound proofing from the outside was wonderful. Was able to sleep even with all the traffic outside.

We had a king suite with kitchenette and balcony on the 21st floor. Overall it was a lovely room. Breakfast was delicious (plenty of options), and we enjoyed the hot tub!

Residence Inn: our studio was clean & comfortable. Our view was of a noisy construction site across the street. The immediate neighborhood included a drug treatment facility as well as active drug addicts. The elevators were slow…1 was down all the while & a second one down for a day…leaving 1 operational, which had us glad to be on the 5th floor. The fitness facility was closed due to construction while we were there. The breakfast was great, staff was friendly.

Large, pet friendly room with a small balcony. Good size kitchen although we did not make use of it. Great location. Large pool and smaller hot tub which was great for families. Good size and well equipped gym. Loved the complimentary breakfast in the morning and the parking was easy, safe and secure.

Room was in good condition. The staff said, they clean the room every 2 days. We were there from. Monday- Friday. They never cleaned our room. The housekeeping knocked on our door on Tuesday to asked if we want towels. We don't have issue with not cleaning our room. We were expecting because they said, cleaninh every 2 days.

Poor breakfast offer, too repetitive. Cleaning in the rooms are not as expected.. I asked for bed sheets change and they refused until 7 day stay. They never vacuumed until I told them and said it was because my reservation didn’t include “full service”

The room was clean but wow the balcony was dirty. The floor on the balcony was almost green like it had moss built up, so it ruined the experience of the balcony. There was garbage left outside the room next door that wasn’t picked up by staff or room service all night, so every time we would come into the room we would walk past this garbage bag full of garbage. Overall the inside of the room was nice and no issues. But cleanliness can be improved for the balcony and room service!

Enjoyed our few days here. Has decent amenities and staff do their best to make your stay a good one. It is quite close to the restaurants of Yaletown plus a couple of markets to purchase foods if eating in. The construction work directly across the road did not affect our stay. Room: Bed was firm and comfortable even though the pillows are the down type they collapse/squash when resting your head. Fridge is a decent size and the kitchen space workable for 1 person. Dislike the shower/bath setup. Could say cramped. TV is reasonable size, but cable television is what it is. Breakfast: Free - Most will find something here to satisfy them. Not a lot of fresh fruit but daily had bananas and apples, but no real other options like berries/pineapple. Cereals ok but not extensive. The waffles were good, but other hot food options were relatively dry and limited. Range of 4 juices were ok too. Regular tea and coffee options along with chocolate powder. Location: Not real close to Canada Place but close enough if wanting to do tours and you can walk near 2km, 20-25 minutes. A decent walk as well to the nearest metro at Yaletown, about 700m, if you have to transfer to the airport as we did. On a fine day not too bad. Close enough if you want to do Granville Island Markets. Laundry: only two washing machines, coin operated, which can be a premium. Took the dryer over 1 hour on medium heat to dry clothes, and therefore had to pay for 2 hours.

Everything was perfect at the hotel. Cleanliness, hospitality and housekeeping were all outstanding. Saif Sayed, the hotel manager, was very attentive and kind in the matter of a personal event I occurred. I had cut my finger and he was on hand within just a few minutes to offer first aid. Because of his professionalism and quick timing with first aid supplies I quickly avoided a trip to an Urgent Care facility and have almost healed over completely from the finger cut. We had an amazing stay. Mike from the front desk was incredible, he gave us tips about the city. We arrived early in the morning to drop off our luggage, but Mike made sure to give us a room even though it wasn’t time to check in yet. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well. They stored our luggage after checking out and helped us get a taxi to the airport. The rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is good too. The hotel has a great location, walking distance from downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were all amazing, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. All were very nice and attentive! Met 2 ladies working the breakfast buffet (didn’t get their names but it was 1 viet & 1 Chinese ladies) and they were the sweetest!! They gave us recs for activities and where to go, definitely made our stay in Canada extra memorable at Marriot! Thank you!!!

We loved staying at this hotel. The cleanliness, accommodations and service were all outstanding! It’s centrally located so easy walking distance to restaurants, stores, transportation. Simon, our desk clerk, was especially helpful. He was able to sell us Hop On Hop Off bus tickets and tickets to the Aquarium in Stanley Park. He also directed us to one of the best dim sum restaurants in town. I’d gladly stay here again.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful despite two key things that inconvenienced the trip. 1) The initial desk clerk who checked us into the hotel was unfriendly and rude. We are a group of four 21-year-olds, full adults, and were treated by this man as though we were children. Immediately, we were met with a rude tone, and a condescending manner that set us all off. Not only this, but he claimed that he was charging us a damages deposit fee, and instead, charged us the entire fee for the two-day stay, AND a damages fee. We were unhappy to have been deceived and would have preferred he had just told us what we were actually being charged for. This also, unfortunately, filled one of our traveling companions' credit card, which made it difficult for him to budget and pay for things for the rest of our trip. We later inquired with another desk-attendant who was similarly confused and told us we should have just been charged a damage fee, and that full fees were meant to be collected after checking out. 2) One of the main reasons my group decided to stay at this hotel was because it offered amenities we were willing to pay extra for including a pool and hot tub. However, neither of these were functioning when we arrived and we were upset we had paid a higher amount and not received these amenities. While it is fully reasonable that the pool and hot tub were being managed, we wished that the hotel had informed us prior to our stay so we could be prepared for it.

We were very satisfied with the room and the amenities. Breakfast was average since there was no proper cheese platter or tomatoes/cucumbers and the variety was poor. The only thing came as a shock was the very rude attitude of the receptionist on the day of our checkout. When we approached to the reception desk and asked for checkout he literally said that he was busy with something else and suggested us to leave the hotel. And then another person supposedly was the manager took us to the other side of desk and started the checkout process. I don’t know if we ever come back to stay at this hotel but as a former hotelier who worked for decades in the hospitality industry I would suggest you to train your front office staff about how to maintain a decent attitude towards the guests.

Hotel was nice Unfortunately we found blood stains on the sheets and duvet; no housekeeping, as we were only there two nights. The front desk associate was quite rude when I asked about a late checkout. I understand the policies, but him telling me “No. We don’t” very bluntly was quite rude.

I had a great stay at the residence inn for my first time visiting Vancouver. The staff were incredibly helpful and the room was perfect for my two night stay. The only downside is the construction happening opposite which can be noisy at times but I barely noticed it on the whole. Would stay again!

Our stay overlapped with hotel staff strike which meant no housekeeping or breakfast during our stay . But hotel didn't automatically compensate us or offered anything because of strike impact. After many conversations with multiple managers, I eeked out some refund from the managers . Definitely will avoid this property in future.

Achei uma boa opção de hospedagem em Vancouver, fácil acesso a pé e de transporte público para várias partes da cidade. We got in to the hotel after midnight, checkin was a breeze. When we woke up the next morning, we had a notice under the door that stated the staff was on strike and breakfast, the gym and pool would all be closed until further notice. I booked this hotel for the convenience of being able to eat breakfast in the morning. When we made it to the lobby, it was complete chaos! I understand things happen but not to be given any notice when we had literally Che is in several hours prior …it’s not like management did t know this was coming!

Breakfast was super disappointing. Runny eggs, breakfast sausages didn’t even taste anything like normal food. No hash browns, and a veggie crumble that felt like last nights leftovers.
