This a good place to stay. It is very small and compact. Beware parking is very tight and small. We had a small car and it was really tight. With that said the parking is secure and adequate but very limited. Walking distance to many things is a plus and close to the ferry if you are island hopping. Overall a good place to stay.

Stayed at Trinity for three nights, and enjoyed every minute of it. The bar and rooftop bar were great, both with great food options. The only downside was the room could have been better cleaned, but as we were only staying a short period of time, it was okay. If one more night, it would be a different story. We will definitely stay again, and would book car parking at the same time

Book your parking in advance otherwise you’re with Wilson’s 24hr parking at $28 a day. Not bad overall for the location especially for the Rooftop Venue. Typical of old walkable Wellington.

This hotel is very conviently located in the heart of Wellington, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Although small, our room was quiet, with a nice outlook over the church across the road. We paid $25 to use the parking available, very convenient. Staff were all very friendly and attentive.

I liked the room it was always warm and the housekeeping staff are amazing always made sure my room was clean. I didn't have a workspace to work but could make do with the pull out drawer to use as a workspace, other than that thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The rooms are very rough looking. They need painting, updating and just generally look tired . The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, there is mould growing in shower and the bathroom smells musty because of the mould, the toilet roll holder is in a terrible place and is the most budget holder, the wall heater does not work, they have TV in rooms with sky but most of the sky channels are unavailable. Desk staff were friendly and helpful, nice and easy to get around as in the centre of town.

When we arrived there was a pooh in the toilet. One of the cups was cracked and chipped with dirt in the crack. When we returned on the second day our door was open and the light was on. Nothing was missing. Lots of loud drunken? shouting in the corridor late at night on the second night. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly but unlikely we would stay again. Chris

So close to the hub of the city, everything in walkable distance. the rooftop bar was lovely to sit and have a view of the city. Did not like the small window from the hotel room we stayed in, and would have loved a fan in the bathroom to get rid for the odor from the use of the toilet.

I walked from my office, it wasn’t the closest hotel but I wanted a walk. Clean and sanitary with a comfortable bed, the room was cold and noisy. Room 205 gets all the street noise plus a really noisy fridge and a sound like water pipes flowing constantly. I was not able to sleep

Will never book again. I cant believe how incredibly small and suffocating the tiny room was for the amount I paid with no view. Just staring at the concrete wall of the neighboring building even at Level 5 (second highest level of the hotel). Will never book this hotel again

We booked a room with a King bed. It had a view and the amenities were good with more accessible Sky TV channels. However the noise from the street was awful with people screaming and shouting till 3.30 am. The rubbish truck came at 5am.The hotel windows are not double glazed and the walls are paper thin. With only 1 hr of sleep that night, we had to request for a quiet room and accepted a more budget room with limited TV channels and a wall for a view. We had a good night's sleep. Staff are helpful which is appreciated. My advice is book a quiet budget room if you want a reasonable night's sleep. I like the convenience of staying here as we can walk everywhere plus easy access to the Inter island ferry.

I had a lovely stay, only drawback this time was the noise really carried through to my room which was 209. The shutting of neighbours doors would constantly bang heavily and wake me and the walls would shake. I will definitely stay here again though. I think that was my third or fourth stay .

This was my second time staying at the property. Upon checking in, our initial room was a bit outdated in comparison to the previous room I had stayed in. Nonetheless, it was a place to stay (the initial room wasn't overly clean). Our tv didn't work, so the front desk agent came to try and fix it. Upon not having any luck, he upgraded us to a new room and this room was clean and spacious. Would stay here again! The location is convienent and staff are great!

Awesome stay, the staff were accommodating. We arrived early and were able to check in a bit earlier, also when we checked out they held our bags for us as our flight was later that afternoon. Our room was clean and had lovely décor. The Arborist rooftop bar was a bonus and the food there was also delicious! Would recommend and stay here again.

Trinity is in good are easy to get about, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice in the restaurant in the hotel, possibly only thing I would like is real milk in tea coffee but it's not a deal breaker. I would happily stay here again. Pete

The staff here are exceptional,very efficient and polite. The rooms are tidy with a ample space. I recommend The Arborist restaurant, there are often daily meal deals and the atmosphere is relaxed

An excellent stay!, I arrived late but check in was super easy and reception staff super helpful. The $10 voucher at the Arborist was an added bonus and the food exceptional. Definitely a little find for future trips!!
